Cornerstone is one of the few places I go to (for any service type) where the office is organized, punctual, and consistent. Processes are well thought out and run smoothly. My doctor is very knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Ryan and Shae are great! I first started getting treatment with Dr. Halee but after she left the practice I had the chance to get care from Dr.Aki! He is so sweet, funny, and most of all caring for ALL his patients. He is very well liked so his practice is always busy. There might be a wait but it's in a AC room and tranquil music in the background. Mariah is almost always there to answer any question or concern you have at the front desk. Some days she also has her dog ROXY with her. I went to another chiropractor prior to coming here and I have to say that Cornerstone really is a family that looks for your best interests and does their best to alleviate and pain you may be experiencing. I've had low back pain for a while and getting adjustments each session really allowed me to feel freedom in going to the gym lifting heavy and accomplish the things I want to achieve without feeling the limitations of a "bad back." I've not only received the treatments I need, but I've gained so much more confidence. There's a joke about getting a inch or two taller when you get your back adjusted, but I really do feel it when I walk! Knowing exactly what's wrong using x-rays and nervoscopes is what caught my attention because I know what needs to be adjusted rather than getting adjusted and not knowing if it's doing more damage than good. I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Halee for 1- Taking me in on such short notice and 2- being so thorough with our last minute couple adjustments I needed to get my baby flipped at 37 weeks pregnant. His sleep has been very consistent now and early. I have had a persistent throbbing pain in the middle of my back for years. The tipping point was when it suddenly went into an angry spasm early one morning. Every time I tried to move to relieve it, it got worse. I was stuck rolled up into a ball. Had to call the EMT. Since then, a sharp, angry pain would pop up whenever I moved the wrong way. After 12 sessions with Dr Aki the pain has subsided. I even forgot about it till Dr Aki pressed it to check it. It's still there, but at least I'm no longer paranoid it'll spasm again. I don't understand how they can charge so much. You're able to pay for a single visit, which is around $80. Which is about $80 for 10-15 mins. She is always smiling, asking about my day and offering me a cup of water before my appointment starts. 2. Dr. Deb - AMAZING!! She is super sweet, funny and caring. I came in because I was struggling for months with upper back pain, my neck was super stiff causing tension headaches that were starting to affect my focus and everyday work life. Dr. Deb started with an x-ray to show what and where the issues were coming from (consultation is free) before adjustments were started. Throughout the past 3 months, I have been receiving adjustments and noticing significant changes in my back and neck! I no longer have unbearable back pain and tension headaches. My boyfriend and I have been looking for a chiropractor in the Kapolei area. I found Cornerstone on an ad on IG. My boyfriend has a very physical job and was experiencing back pain. He has never gone to a chiropractor before, so I was excited for him to feel some relief. I scheduled an appointment for the both of us. The clinic is very clean and neat. The staff was very very nice. We were informed that they are more in-depth than other chiropractic clinics which I actually appreciated. I've received chiropractic care for years and none of them ever took x-rays to get a better look. They told us the price which was $97.00 for the consult and x-rays. I agreed to it. I assumed it came with an alignment because that's what I'm use to. I was surprised after the x-rays were taken that I would have to wait to feel relief. I was disappointment but understood because the doctor wanted to review our x-rays. We waited until our next day off to schedule. A week later we returned. The doctor reviewed the x-rays and confirmed the areas of pain we stated in our prior appointment. She offered several packages. I believe one package was 12 visits for $2k for both. Which is out of our budget. She also stated we can come in whenever and pay $85. We waited a week, I took another hour off of work and all we wanted to feel was some kind of relief so we agreed to pay. I wouldn't say it was an alignment. She barely put any pressure on my back... no cracks or relief. She did crack my neck well. Unfortunately, for my other half there was no relief what so ever. No cracks and barely any pressure. When it comes down to it. We paid close to $400 to get my neck cracked and see x-rays of our back. I'm not saying they are not a good chiropractic clinic. I understand that it takes more than 1 visit to correct issues... and yes they do tell you the price. We walked out with the same pain and $400 down the drain. We work really hard and just wanted some relief. Even if it was temporary relief. Something.... This place was just not for us. We are very disappointment. We wanted to love this place because everyone is so nice but its a hard NO not coming back. read more
