Tons of parking and super easy to find! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. The office is very clean and, thankfully, the AC keeps it cool. This was my first visit, and I came in with several body concerns. The initial consultation was extremely informative--the doctor carefully reviewed my body, asked questions, and immediately pinpointed the issues I've been experiencing. She suggested a treatment plan and had me try what felt like a water bed with a massage and electric pads. It was incredibly relaxing and helped loosen up my muscles tremendously. Turning Point Chiropractic was okay overall. The staff was nice and the office seemed professional, but I did feel like the marketing side was a little too aggressive for me. I originally went in more for maintenance, but there was definitely a push toward buying one of their treatment packages for multiple sessions per week over a period of time. I ended up purchasing a package that was around $800. After completing the visits, I honestly feel about the same as when I started. The actual visits were pretty quick. They would put TENS pads on you, then you could choose either the roller table or the hydromassage bed for about 10 minutes. After that, the adjustment itself was maybe 5 minutes or so, and that was pretty much it. Another thing that became annoying was the amount of follow-up emails, surveys, and marketing messages. I understand businesses need to communicate with clients, but after a while it felt excessive. Overall, they weren't bad, but I personally didn't feel like I got enough value from the package. For someone looking for frequent chiropractic care, it may be a good fit, but for basic maintenance, I probably would not do another package. read more

I've been regularly going to Turning Point Chiropractic for at least a few years now. I have been struggling with back and neck pain from sports like surfing, soccer, and dance, and my initial appointment a while back was super helpful. My doctor walked me through my journey to wellness and how often I should come in for adjustments. I was able to see the path I would be on to recover, and also prevent future injury. The staff are all so nice, including the receptionists too! The receptionists are always so welcoming and cheerful (especially Nanea!), and when I call and need to reschedule an appointment due to a conflict, they are always so happy to help. If you'd like, Turning Point also offers therapies (water-bed and roller-bed), that are very relaxing and calming (some people even fall asleep). I enjoy using the roller-bed before my adjustments, especially if my pain has been more than it usually is. The doctors, no matter which one you have are always so great. My adjustments are always so quick (usually not over 5-10 minutes, and with therapies no more than 30 minutes), yet the doctors seem genuinely interested in how you are doing and what's going on in your life. My main doctor has definitely taken the time to get to know me, and has made it a point to remember both my dad and I'd interests. Ever since my dad and I have been going to Turning Point, our pain has been much more manageable! I would definitely recommend going here! read more

2022 - I visited a different Turning Point location 5 minutes from where I live and the receptionist service was less than professional, to say the least. The Doctor at said location was professional. Front desk service is why I didn't return. Fast forward to now, visited the Mililani location and was extremely pleased with the professionalism of the front desk ladies and Dr. Ward! Even though it is 20 minutes away, I'll drive it over and over to get treatment from there! Back pain was extreme and after the first adjustment, the relief felt was instant. I suffered for a year with a pinched nerve in the base of my spine. I jumped off of a brick wall and landed too hard on my left knee causing a misalignment. I didn't feel pain in my back until a week or two later. Overtime it had gotten worse and I felt numbing pain stretch all the way down to my ankle. A few months later my back stopped hurting but then my left knee joint began to build up fluid and kept me from sleeping, walking or sitting without serious pain. Turning Point Chropractic Saved my life. They quickly diagnosed me and came up with a plan to get me back to great health. I felt relief immediately after the first alignment. The plan was to address the issues with my knee by realignments 3 times a week. Now I have progress down to once a week and I'm feeling like myself before I jumped off that wall. Go get treated. Decided to try the Mililani location instead of my usual Waipio. I was in desperate need of an adjustment Sunday morning. I called and made a same morning appointment. (HUGE yay!!) Reception was friendly and welcoming. I was taken back quickly and the entire office is clean and tidy. Size wise it is triple that of Waipio. I think their Ewa site is the largest bit I haven't ever been there (yet!) The only downside was, I had to wait about 20 minutes to see Julie, )the chiropractor there at the time) but other than that it was great! Julie was so very friendly, and personable. We talked about what was going on and I warned her how tight my back, traps, hips... (let's be honest all the things are extremely tight). I will definitely go see Julie again. First of all, EVERYONE IS SO AMAZING AND NICE! You are greeted first thing walking in. They take the time in listening to what you need worked on or what is troubling you. Not only that, they teach you certain exercises or tricks to keep going. I had my lower back, hips and neck focused on. Prior to this it was difficult for me to lay flat on my back but now pain has lessen. They do a mini consultation prior to adjustments to lay out a treatment plan and recheck mid way again to see how things are improving or not. Office is clean and well kept.
