There was no wait time, other than the time it took to fill out the new patient paperwork, and we got x-rays promptly, followed by cleanings. My step-daughter was expecting to have a follow up appointment for the second deep cleaning - the first was prior to us moving to the Indy area - but they determined it was unecessary. Instead, she will have flouride treatment for cavities. The assistant who did my cleaning was friendly and professional, and asked if I was comfortable. There was a television on the ceiling playing Grey's Anatomy, and generic 2000s pop music playing. Dr. Liang himself was also friendly, and I trust his judgment. The whole atmosphere was clean and organized, and they were an efficient office. We were in and out in 90 minutes, but it felt much quicker than that.

Be aware, they charge more for below average dental work, just because they can…read more My husband works for Colgate, meaning our insurance is top tier for dental coverage (everything is normally 100% covered). They charge a much higher rate than other dentists and I'd suggest just going to another dentist (I've found great care at Waterfront Family Dentist in Geist, everything has been covered under our insurance). The service care was below average and they did a terrible job at the X-Rays, having to get them re-done at another dental provider, even after sending them the ones this establishment took and sending it to them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'm just trying to warn others. This is my personal experience and others may find this place great. Was told by the office manager, "That's your fault. It's not our job to update your phone number." In years and years of being a patient we have not missed a scheduled appointment or been late on a payment. Our phone number hasn't changed. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed, or if there is a new office manager. Either way we are getting a new family dentist.

Personally, I have a slight skepticism of advice given by medical professionals but, to me, Dr. Power seems like an honest dentist who doesn't recommend unnecessary treatments. I've been a patient now for 16 years and after moving away recently I tried a new dentist and had a horrible experience so I actually made a trip back to Indianapolis to have Dr. Bendush and his team clean my teeth. Dr. Bendush, Jackie, Carey, Nancy, Jerilyn, and Dixie are the best of the best. Their prices are very fair and Dr. Bendush is almost famous for taking the time to explain the procedure in detail and the underlying problem if any as well as solution, choices, and benefits. This doctor can give you an injection of anesthetic while smiling and having a conversation with you and you never even know that he had a syringe in his hand until your face starts to go numb. HOWEVER, I will say that this is the first time from start to finish. I changed dentist due to my work and location so this past winter I was looking for a new dentist. I asked a co worker of mine and she recommended this dentist. I did my own research and decided to give it a whirl. The front office staff was great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

Call me silly but I didn't want to uncontrollably vomit all over the dentist or hygienist. Frankly, it's a health risk. I could've easily choked on my vomit during treatment. You can be the best dentist but with an unprofessional, patient facing staff you will eventually lose business. Side note, somehow the office suppressed my Google review. Now I consider them unreliable.

All I wanted was my teeth cleaned, but they refused to do it unless I agreed to a pano xray. I have no issues with my teeth, no history of issues, not so much as a cavity in 15 years. All I wanted was my regular 6 month teeth cleaning. But, evidently new policy says..... no xray, no service. I won't be pushed around be a greety dentist that insists on maximizing billing to my inurance. Get xray's if you want them. If you don't, it should be your choice and your risk. I reseached this situation, and evidently it is legal for dentist to refuse basic exam and cleaning if you won't agree to xrays. Legal and ethical are two differnt things. Can you imaged a doctor refusing to give you a basic exam because you refused a test he recommeded? Besides this, the office staff is terrible, so I recommend you go elsewhere! These guys are after maximum profit from you and your insurance.
