Never got the call back so I called again. This time she said it did not include labor and install. Ok refund my $352 back gave her my email for the receipt to be sent. Never happened!! Called again asking for her, she's not in yet but should be here anytime. Hours later no callback 3rd phone call asked for Tracy this time told her the issue, she apologized and said refund was done and would email me a receipt. Apologized for Katina stating she was overwhelmed with a home renovation and moving. I don't want to hear excuses. Never got the email receipt from her either Y'all are evidently not good at customer service, calling back or following up and DO NOT deserve my business. I guess because I was only buying a remnant and not a FULL SLAB!!! Really didn't deserve even1 star. Don't tell a customer you have another appointment either without an apology. You made us feel like we weren't important enough!! Wise up when considering this place people!!!

We were pleased with the plumbing, electricial, and tile (Ivan and Simon) sub-contractors that were used for our bathroom project. We've encountered our fair share of contractors and, for this job in general, received many over-the-top quotes and/or no shows. Ben was reasonably priced and consistent in his communication. He provided us with a project calendar (we've never had that happen w/ a contractor) and while, his team went over their original due date--unexpected issues--he maintained communication with us about who would be where, when, and why. I have to admit I was hesitant about going forward with AKB since I'd not read any review about them, but I had a good feeling after I met Benjamin to receive the initial estimate. I got the impression that he actually really cared about his work and the job he does and it was more than just a paycheck for him. I really liked how he was even able to give me a ballpark estimate with just some pictures I sent him before he came over to give a true estimate. I initially reached out to Benjamin in late May and we had decided to start work the first week of July (on that note, he also had earlier availability than anyone else I had received a quote from). We wound up pushing that back once we received the final quote as we wanted more time to save money for the job. He started work on our kitchen on a Monday and was basically done by Friday, except for a few items he had to come back to finish up early the next week. He was great about communicating when he would be at the house and did a fantastic job cleaning up each day--we were able to still use our kitchen in the evenings. We did the back-splash ourselves to save money, and after finishing that, I'm just floored at how beautiful this kitchen looks. I even have to force myself to go to sleep and stop staring at my kitchen each night. It was 100% worth the money and I would recommend Affordable Kitchen & Bath to anyone who wants quality work for a great price.

This will help paint the picture. This is free information on the internet that anyone has access to. Truly deserve 0 stars. It has been a nightmare and immense stress working with them. You may as well be the builder yourself because they do not contribute in the way that a builder should. I had to keep track of what needed to be done, creating my own to do and checklists for months, coordinating myself with some subs/vendors, hiring my own interior designer because their designer (Karen the wife) isn't actually one, or at least doesn't seem a bit interested. Their packet they give you in the beginning doesn't provide you the information you should have as a buyer. I spent the last 2-3 months showing up every single day to the build to keep an eye on it because they sure don't. Delays, delays, delays. THEY DONT PAY THEIR SUBS & VENDORS, and in return, even after you've closed and they've gotten your money - the subs put LIENS ON YOUR HOME. I have been closed for 9 months and they still haven't paid a lot of our subs. They also have not completed our closing check list, let alone the punch list... we still have change orders they haven't revised yet due to errors we've pointed out. They don't uphold their warranty. We have a leak above our bed that they are aware of (pictured) and have completely ignored and gone silent on fixing our roof to stop the leak - which has been going on since March 2025. Myself and my attorney have contacted them about all of this with no response. The lack of empathy they are demonstrating for letting a pregnant woman endure this stress and live with a leak above her head every night demonstrates the way they in which they choose to run their business. A time that should be exciting moving to a new state and starting a family has been over shadowed by the stress of this house. It's truly been a disheartening experience. Do not trust them. And whatever you do, do not build or buy from them.
