I genuinely did not think a store could be this bad. it's such a massive store but they have…read morenothing. I don't mean the shelves are empty, they have plenty of stock, just NOTHING even remotely good or even decent. theres not a single pair of pants in the store under a size 12 or any clothes for that matter in a normal size. I honestly don't understand how they are still open. I waited in line to check out for 20 mins, with only 2 people in front of me. When there's customers waiting, it isnt the time to explain every single detail of the app or discuss personal life and vacation. It's my turn finally and she asks me all the questions. No I don't have the belk app. No I don't want to get the belk app. No I don't have a belk card. No I don't want to sign up for a belk card. No I don't want to use my phone number. No I don't want to use my email. I was polite but said no like a million times. I understand that they sometimes get commission and are generally pushed to ask these things but don't look at me like I just beat your puppy because I politely declined. And definitely don't tell the person in line behind me that I was rude when I walked away. Also, why're you charging people $100+ for a pair of pants that look like they were made in the 80s and have the texture of a disposable tablecloth.

We bought a necklace from here and when we got to the car we discovered it was broken, so we went back inside to ask them if we could exchange it for a new one. If that is against policy to exchange it, then we understand, but the woman never said anything about that, she just kept saying that we were the ones that messed it up when we tried pulling the tag off, if that was true then we wouldn't have asked to exchange it. It was broken when we opened the box. She was being very unprofessional and rude and quite honestly making a scene for no reason. Then, she hands it to another lady, which was nicer but also very unprofessional. She tried to fix it for us but lost one of the pieces to and handed it back and proceeded to tell us to just try and fix it ourselves because she couldn't see well enough because she didn't have her glasses. If she needs glasses to do her job, then she should have them with her. The whole experience was so dramatic for zero reason and I will no longer be purchasing jewelry there again.
