The care given at my orthodontist are the greatest. They're always striving to make you comfortable and looking the best your smile could possibly be. They ask questions and opinions to suit your desires. They have a laid back approach, in a very professional manner. I gave 5 stars because Dr Wang seemed like a decent professional periodontist and all the dental implants he did for me were a success except the 1st one which was likely because I wasn't following the post treatment with antibiotics and mouth rinse etc, correctly. Having said that, I want to say that his dental assistant Samantha is very rude has very little class and unprofessional. She joked that a person isn't supposed to look like a hillbilly, referring to my missing teeth. She also joked that I must be addicted to getting dental implants because I wasn't getting any crowns for them, which likely would have been a waste of money and time, as I decided that a Snap In (implant) denture on the top of my mouth, would be the better option, and I'm glad I wasnt impulsive and too eager to get crowns as I likely would've regretted getting them and it would have been a waste of time and money. One day, Dr Wang jokingly asked me to shovel his driveway after a snow storm, which I laughed, and the dental assistant Samantha replied, " yeah that's a way to lose weight" ...Which I didn't think that Dr Wang implied anything about my weight. If Samantha thinks she can disparage, humiliate and joke about any dental patients weight or dental condition she is very wrong. . What I have been through with dental problems isn't a joke to me, although people like her may think its a joke. I struggled with severe depression, and definitely could have taken better care of my teeth and didn't know I would go through the struggles of the dental problems that faced me, and my late father also lost most of his teeth at a young age, 30's and 40's, so unfortunately I think I may have genetically soft teeth. I was trying to decide for a while if I should address how I was treated by this dental assistant Samantha. I wasn't sure if I should say something about it or not, however I decided that it was completely unacceptable how I was treated specifically by this so called dental assiant Samantha. It has been a painful difficult and arduous journey dealing with my dental problems mentally emotionally physically and financially and its reprehensible that people like Samantha thought she could ridicule and joke about me like she did. Without dental patients none of you who work at dentist offices, would have a job. Dr Wang needs to think about the kinds of people he has working for him. Most of the people at Cornerstone seemed professional and decent but I can't say the same about this person Samantha. read more

Last week, I had the worst experience here that I've ever had in a medical office! The appointment with the doctor went okay (he is nice enough and well-meaning but for me did not create the rapport I expected), but the real issue was dealing with one of the office workers after the appointment who has absolutely people skills. When I questioned a procedure not being covered by insurance, she got immediately defensive and rudely dismissed me to the point where my next move was to leave. She did nothing to try to explain this to me. Not that I want to get anyone in trouble in a public space, but the treatment was so terrible I needed to put this up on Yelp in hopes that at least the doctors read this...because due to this treatment I am now shopping elsewhere and can not positively recommend this place. read more

Dr Wang is professional, patient and compassionate. He spent a lot of time with me to explain treatment options for my periodontal disease. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. Gum surgery is expensive, but Dr Wang performs the most up to date and effective surgeries available. His front office staff is friendly and accommodating and they work around your schedule as well as they can. His dental hygienists are friendly, thorough and patient and very understanding of patients with dental anxiety like me. I actually look forward to my quarterly cleanings because I know how great my teeth are going to feel afterwards, and I know that my hygienist, Amy, honestly cares about my dental health. I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent comprehensive periodontal care. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Wang and the entire staff at Cornerstone. I'm an implant patient and could not be more delighted with the highest quality of gentle care and professionalism at this practice. I totally LOVE my implants which have improved the quality of my health and my life overall. The negative reviews I've seen, I can't understand. Dr. Wang works to make sure the patient has no pain and as little discomfort as possible. I have extreme dental anxiety and he has been 100% sensitive to this and my experience from the first visit to the completion of my implants and ongoing has been anxiety free and terrific. My husband recently had his wisdom teeth extracted and a full deep cleaning. Dr Wang was fantastic. He came out to the waiting room multiple times to update me on what their plan was. My husband is hard to numb and has bad anxiety when it comes to oral procedures but he spoke to my husband like he was a friend of his. Very personable and truly cares about his patients. He even called from his personal cell phone over the weekend to check on him. The ladies at the front desk are also awesome! read more

Had a very intimidating and disappointing visit here to assess my periodontic health on the recommendation of my dentist. Dr. Wang didn't introduce himself to me and asked only one personal question about my oral care. His dental hygienist probed my gum line to find my tooth/gum depths and it was incredibly painful. By the time she was done I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Wang did nothing to alleviate this. I got nervous hearing about the surgery he was recommending and basically had a mini panic attack. Instead of sitting down and addressing my fears, he told me to "take a few minutes to calm down" and left the room abruptly. I've rarely felt so condescended to by a healthcare professional. Three weeks later his office sent me a letter saying they recommended I see someone else since "we were unable to reach a comfortable understanding or rapport." I couldn't agree more. Clean and welcoming office but staff bedside manners extremely lacking. They just want your money. read more

This review applies only to Dr. Wang, with whom my experience was unsatisfactory. He misdiagnosed the cause of my difficulty and on the basis of that misdiagnosis 1) persuaded me to undergo a painful, pointless, and expensive procedure, and 2) fitted me with a dental guard that caused me sleep apnea or something similar. I won't be using his services again, and I won't recommend him to anyone I care about. read more

Went for a consultation with Dr. Wang. He started prodding at sensitive areas in my mouth without explaining anything and became upset with me when I told him it was hurting. He said "I'm barely touching it". He spent five minutes explaining multiple, intricate procedures and surgeries that would cost me upwards of $10,000. When I wanted to ask questions, he stood in the doorway, with his body turned to the side, half in, half out, suggesting he was too busy for my reasonable questions regarding the work required to treat my gums. He was unfriendly and short with me throughout the visit. I would recommend anyone with dental anxiety to seek treatment elsewhere. read more
