I wanted this to be a slam dunk. It was rough. When you come in there shelves are empty and disheveled. It looks like there was a storm warning or something and people scrambled to buy everything. The man helping me had a different file and asked me if my birth year was correct, 1948.....he was about 40 years off. These are who are filling your prescriptions and making sure you're getting the right medicine. I called ahead for a transfer and when arrived 30 minutes later, they hadn't called the other pharmacy. The pharmacy is very disorganized. There's a really nice woman working there who seems to hold down the fort, but besides that it's a zoo. They were very nice which always makes it hard to review, but they've got to get it together to retain customers

The cushion never fully accepted air. By Sunday April 19 the donut was completely flat. The week of April 19th I called Slavins to see what could be done. The response, in a loud irrtated voice " IT'S YOUR PROBLEM". We have nothing to do with it. The supplier/manufacturer wondered why I was calling and proceeded to cross examine. I assured them I tried to get assistance from Slavins-Hancock. The Customer. Service at the supplier confirmed THE FIRST MONTH (April) IS SLAVINS -HANCOCKS RESPONSIBLITY to directly notify us( the supplier).

They also sent me home with a glucose meter and supplies that was over $200 and luckily I was able to return that. The other medication I've been able to get all of it, a months supply, for $125 at CVS for the same stuff. The person checking me out said it would have even been more expensive, but they were able to get it down to $565 with coupons. I don't need coupons at CVS to get it for $125. Such an incredible difference, hard not to feel ripped off.

When you call or come into the store, they know you and ask about your family. When they have had a family misfortune or loss, your caring and concern is returned to them because they have become not only essential service providers, but friends that you care about. Palmer Professional Pharmacy also does drug-compounding, and what is so important to my husband and I is that they provide and make up compounded, and chicken-flavored medications that my pet and former pets have needed. I asked her if she could rip the damaged photo because I personally don't like throwing out personal pictures whole (people do weird stuff nowadays) and she refused to. When I turned my back, she started talking badly about me to another customer and laughed with said customer while making fun of me. When I confronted her, she kicked me out and went back to talking badly had having an attitude with other customers. Never coming back unless absolutely needing to.

The staff in the pharmacy taking and filling prescriptions for the most part are passive and shouldn't be in an industry which serves patients. They don't notify / communicate with patients when they need to. I've had situations when they couldn't fill a pre-surgery prescription and failed to let me know. I had to call in days later to find out and then come into the pharmacy in person. No notifications by phone, text or app either. When I brought this up, the girl behind the counter got nasty and made me wait in line for an hour while she did absolutely nothing to fill my prescription. I eventually contacted CVS Caremark and they told me this should never have happened to me and they ended up contacting the pharmacy directly to have my prescription filled.

The store is always clean and organized. Everything is usually in stock (depending on the COVID situation when it comes to cleaning products but that's every where). I really have no complaints about this particular CVS. I only gave 4 stars because prices tend to be a bit high on certain things that I know are normally cheaper elsewhere. But that's typical for all CVS locations. There's plenty of parking and it's convenient for the location.
