They said that they could send a technician out within four hours. One hour later, the technician was there. He quickly identified the problem and explained the options for repair. It was a very warm day (at least 100 degrees) and I wanted the fastest option because going without air conditioning in the Antelope Valley is not pleasant. I decided to have the aging system replaced entirely, and the team at Pennies got right to work. My HVAC unit was completely replaced by the end of the day. Everyone was professional and courteous. The lead technician on the installation was great at communication. The installation of this unit was much better than when we had the old unit installed ten years ago. The workmen were careful with my carpets, cleaned everything up when they were done, and did a great job installing the unit. Great service! The temps were 105+ degrees this week and the company couldn't get the job done. They literally told me to call another company so I called ECONO WEST. Talked to Dave, and he immediately sent out Dan. Dan came and immediately grabbed the necessary parts to be fixed and took them back to the shop right away but He was having trouble removing the fan at the shop, due to it being a 36year old part. That didn't , he took matters into his own hands and was trying to work on this part with his own equipment in his garage at his home. Dan was able to get a fan onto the new motor and installed it in a very timely manner to get the AC back up and running. I know the unit is old but when it's time to upgrade, I will be calling ECONO WEST without a doubt in my mind. I highly recommend these guys for your AC needs, they will treat you like family and help you in your time of need. These guys are polite, respectful, and will take care of your heating or cooling emergencies right away. My worst fear about living here came true…read more Sunday night, July 24, 2022. The central air conditioning quit blowing cold air. Yeah, that's my worst fear about living in the high desert in summer. I opened windows and put a couple big fans near my bed. Couldn't fall asleep. Got up, went to my home office downstairs and submitted a service request to Doug Anderson Property Management, the people who handle this house for the owner. Got a lot of work done. At 9 a.m. Monday, July 25th, when the property management office opened, I called to make sure they would immediately contact their A/C repair vendor, which turned out to be Working Class Heating & Air, of Lancaster. I called, spoke with Stephanie, and she said they're booked solid for that day but she'd try to squeeze me in for a technician's visit. Later, I got a text which said to expect a visit between noon and 4 p.m. In my first-floor office, I had the fans aimed at me as the house neared a temperature that could bake pizza. I guzzled cold water. And then I saw an SUV show up. The technician, Matthew Grubb, emerged and I led him to the back yard unit. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed fan motor. He told me he could install a new one on Wednesday, provided Doug Anderson's people issued the work order. That meant two nights in a hotel. Stephanie texted: "I've submitted an estimate to Doug Anderson Property Management. If they approve, we will be there Weds." "If they want the rent money, they'd better approve!" was my reply. I was in a foul mood. I booked the local Best Western. I packed up for my hotel stay. I'd work from the hotel. At the front desk, I handed the lady my registration info. "I'm local," I said. "My wife kicked me out of the house, so I'm staying two nights with you," Her eyes popped up to meet mine. "I'm kidding. My A/C broke." (I'm single). I hauled everything to room 317...where it turned out the room A/C was unresponsive to the thermostat's cool/off/heat control. It ran cold all the time. I froze. How's that for irony? By the time I crashed, I'd been up for 36 hours. Tuesday morning, July 26th, I visited the property management office to make sure they authorized the repair. They did. Stephanie said the approval came through and they would be on site between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thank god for small bureaucratic miracles. Tuesday night, I had some success with sleeping in arctic temperatures. Matthew rolled into my driveway early, at 10:30 Wednesday morning, July 27th. He swapped out the fan motor, tested the coolant level, and hooked up a pressurized gas container to top it off. His work was flawless. Stephanie exhibited perfect customer service. Attentive and helpful. It doesn't get any better than this. Thank you, Working Class HVAC. Matthew left to take care of other desperate customers. And finally, I sit here in 72-degree bliss. And Doug Anderson will get their rent check.

Needed complete hvac replacement of two systems. Received 8 different quotes and JB Heating and Air…read morewas the lowest rate offered. Jesse is the owner and he was great to work with. My decision to choose him over the other 7 contractors was not just his lower bid but that he was the only one I did not feel there was a catch. Jesse doesn't come off as a salesman, in fact he's most likely going to be your technician and will provide recommendations to your specific needs and wants. Not one time did he try to convince my to try a product I had no interest in and not once did he try to offer me extras that were not necessary. Not only that, the rates he offered, I never felt like I needed to negotiate with him or felt like he was selling me some snake oil discount deal. He also didnt give timelines in accepting a contract. He didnt take any money upfront either, some of the other contractors wanted deposits and partial pay during install which is to be expected. But Jesse upfronted all of the expenses until the install was finished. I also liked that he was one of the few contractors that didnt try to convince me to redo all my ductwork either. Working with him I felt very little pressure. Being a new company and small in size I had my worries but because my interaction with Jesse was positive and felt genuine. I gave him a chance and have no regrets. At least not yet, well see in 5 years. It also gave me peace of mind to know that Jesse is licensed, bonded, and has workers insurance. He saved me over $7000 on a complete two system install of goodman condensers (2), furnaces (2), and evap coils (2). The install occured on 5/25. It took Jesse two days with a 3 man crew day 1 and a 2 man crew on day 2. They started early 8:30ish and finished by 4pm. They worked hard and took very few breaks. His crew was professional and respectful. Jesse was also timely during our appointments. There was a time he couldn't make it out on a planned day but he let us know prior to the day. The install to me looks good to me and the system has been running great. I suppose my only complaint is the condensers not being on condenser base pads but they are sitting on the original concrete slabs that the old system was on so I don't think its a big deal. If you care about that I'm sure Jesse would have no problem installing it for you. Jesse is still helping me with my master bedroom, due to the home design (2 story, 3200sqft) and there was some cooling issues there but I have faith he will fix it for us after installing an additional vent/duct. I highly recommend considering Jesse's company for your HVAC needs. I would still recommend to anyone to GET MULTIPLE QUOTES. But I dont think you'll find rates as good as his. His rates aren't just competative, they are significantly lower. Maybe he'll increase rates one day as his company grows, but for now take advantage
