This place was nice and much more e extensive than it looks from the outside. We saw every room of the place, and there were clothes and foods and decor and outdoor things and socks that my mother-in-law would love! You can tell the ideal demographic and audience based on your first 30 seconds in the store. Which might not be me, but that's OK. Big points for having a bathroom my wife could use and a birthday gift for my MIL. The staff was friendly and helpful and there was something for everyone. read more

The staff must have been very attracted to my handsome black husband, because the only other reason I can imagine for them to follow him around the store from room to room blatantly watching what he was doing would be really unacceptable. Was here over the holiday weekend. I was in the store twice in that time. On the first visit, my friend and I were largely ignored. No greeting, no acknowledgment. On the second visit, with a third friend in tow, we still weren't really acknowledged until we started shopping. As we looked at earrings in the front of the store, one of the salespeople hovered nearby. As we tried to engage with her, she seemed to take on an arrogant attitude about the store and the merchandise. My friends wandered further into the store and as I tried to follow them, she was standing in front of me, obviously looking into my open purse to see if I had stolen any of the earrings I had been perusing. Apparently, I did not give off enough of a wealthy appearance to her. This is abhorrent behavior. I will never return to this store and I hope others don't bother to spend time or money here. There is an obvious discriminatory classism happening here. Heaven forbid I had also been a person of color; she probably would have hit the panic button. read more

I went there today during a Girls Weekend. The sales person, Sara, who helped me was wonderful. I had a great conversation with her. I found a beautiful clothing item that I tried on. I decided that I wanted to purchase it. Well... the owner wanted the item for another shopper that she thought was more important than me. She and another employee actually tried to talk me out of it. They said it didn't look good on me and wasn't fitting quite right. My friend and I disagreed and thought it fit perfectly. I even texted pictures of it to other people, who agreed that it looked great. They actually took the item from me for the other person to try on, EVEN THOUGH I HAD SAID I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE IT! I was able to get my item back and still wanted to make my purchase. Although I spent money there today, I really don't see myself going there again. The owner would rather pick and choose who she sells items to, rather than see the value in every customer. I am so disgusted with her behavior. I would give Sara 5 stars for her customer service and the rapport she developed with me so quickly. But I would give the owner and the other employee she was in cahoots with to try to talk me out of my purchase by insulting me and my body 0 stars, if I could. read more

Walked in and noted there must have been a sale of the century happening I was not aware of because there were hundreds of frantic 60-80 yr old women running a muck inside. I was intimidated. This is one of my favorite shops in Lake Geneva! Be prepared to spend a good chunk of time here because it seems the store is endless. There are rooms after rooms full of nice gift ideas, candles, jewelry, home decor, etc. I also find that items here are very reasonably priced. It is always nice to go around the holidays because they have such cute decorations out for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas....wish I could see what they have for Valentine's Day! This store is huuuuuge! Surprised how it went on and on, with a new cute theme, brand, or line as you go through the store. Adorable things for the home, gifts (baby, engagement, etc), home decor, clothing, and accessories. Brand lines like Lily Pulitzer, Kate Spade, TAG, Mudpie, and lots more. On the pricey side which seemed appropriate for this high-end boutique, but would've liked to see a few things in a more "everyday" price range, which is the only reason for the 4 star. read more

First of all--this is a wonderful store, full of possibly the nicest clothing you will find anywhere in Lake Geneva, if not most boutiques within many, many miles. I was here months ago with a friend when we were on limited time and vowed to return when I had more time to explore and shop. This is exactly what I did a couple weeks ago while on spring break with my husband and adult daughter, also a teacher. It was a very cold day when we entered the store, wearing our winter coats (not that unusual for the Midwest in late March). The sales woman (I did not see her name) --medium height with lt brown, curly hair--approached us and greeted us, asking if I was looking for anything in particular or just looking, to which we politely said, "We are just looking for now." I was showing my husband a lovely top at the time. The saleswoman immediately noticed my interest in the item and commented, "Just so you know, MOST of our tops DO go up to a size XL or even a 1X." She might have said something after that like, "Let me know..." but I heard nothing else in my mind because I was deafened with hurt and insult by the statement. My shopping excitement was immediately deflated by her insensitive comment (which she perhaps meant nothing by, I'm sure), but it stung, nonetheless. I appeared larger than I am in a winter coat, like most of us do, but since when do salespeople make a comment about size without first asking if they can help find a size for a particular item? It was tactless and turned me off to shopping at what is one of the finest clothing stores in Lake Geneva. read more
