Left 10 shirts for laundry Was given a receipt for $40.00 Picked up and was billed &61.00 Was told 3 shirts were blouses and the cost was $11.00 each When I complained and inquired why I was not told this originally I was told they couldn't tell that these weren't men's shirts when I brought them in I guess when they laundered they saw even though shirts were identical buttons were on the other side . I asked for a refund for this non disclosed charge and I was told no refund I was shocked how unconcerned they were I left and posting this so customers can be aware. read more

Very disappointing, unfortunate experience with their tailoring. I took a dress in which had a small tear and asked him to patch it. I know my late mother would have put an iron-on patch on and it would barely have shown. He sewed all over it creating a ridiculous design. It's not salvageable. I also had him take in shoulders on three dresses. None were great. One was so uneven I took it back and nicely asked the tailor to fix it. He insisted it was fine. I told him I was unhappy, and again tried to point out the uneven finish. He argued with me and called the owner over. Ultimately, the owner gave me back the $15.00 and told me not to come back. I hadn't intended to. I took the one dress to my local Philadelphia and they are redoing it. I will take the others as well and am confident he will do a professional job. That's what I was paying for. These were sloppy and no better than I could have done. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a dry cleaners!! I brought in a silk blouse that I wore for the first time and got a little stain on the front of the shirt. When I picked it up and got it home I saw that the spot was gone, but there were these little black spots on the blouse now. Spots that were not there when I dropped it off. I brought it back and asked that it be cleaned again. The owner was extremely rude and told me that this has never happened to him before (totally untrue I now realize as I have read his other reviews). I even said I would pay again to have these stains removed. He was nasty and told me to take my business elsewhere. Obviously I will be doing that. Don't ever use this dry cleaners!! I agree with others who have reviewed this establishment. I brought items to this dry cleaner which included a blue Jos A. Bank sport coat and a shirt from Banks. When I got them home they were badly stained from some kind of chemical used by the dry cleaner. The items still had the dry cleaners grey I'd # stapled to them but of course the owner denied liability and refused to be accountable. He was so rude and belligerent towards me but then demanded that I take my business elsewhere as if that was a punishment. Why would anyone do business with an establishment owned and operated by such an unprofessional person who refuses to take responsibility for ruining customers garments? I was in AC Superior Court yesterday and was awarded a judgement against this dry cleaners. We'll see if they pay or if the sheriff has to go and collect the courts judgement. read more

I took an expensive blouse belonging to my wife to this cleaner. Even though the slip says that they are responsible up to 10 times the cost of the cleaning, they would only give me the cost of the cleaning back. Be Careful. They ruin clothes!!!! They ruined a dress even though they we specifically told not to iron or steam the leather. The leather is burnt and it shrinked so much the entire dress is schrivilled up . It can not be fixed and must be thrown out!!!! They were very nasty about it and did not provide an acceptable solution. They even wanted to charge me for another dress they did not ruin but ironed well below the quality of work you would expect from a professional dry cleaner. Don´t take anything to them. I had to file and win a lawsuit and judgement against this business to get them to take responsibility for damaging my expensive garments. They still have not paid the judgement but the Atlantic County Superior Court has a very effective remedy for these types of business owners. An officer of the court will arrive at their place of business to collect the judgement amount plus additional fees assessed for not being compliant with the courts order so that's the type of business I will never support moving forward and I recommend you do the same. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I echo the other negative reviews. I can say with certainty - DO NOT use the tailor here. I've never had poor laundering services, but I still won't return because of the nightmare below. I took a a few tops and a dress in and spent over 30 minutes being fitted, which would have been worth it if the items were actually tailored when I picked them up. Lesson learned: Try your items on when you pick them up. The dress was an emergency tailor for a wedding the weekend that I picked up and I was in a rush - when I tried it on upstate where there were no tailors in sight, no work had been done! I took it back after the wedding to show them, and the owner wasn't in so I left the dress for him to look at and came back later. When I returned, the tailor said he had just taken the straps in where my emergency safety pins were to try to salvage it... but I never asked him to do that and he messed the dress up completely! Then when I told the owner how upset I was because it was an expensive dress, he asked how much and I said over $500. His response? "That's not expensive." After continuing to fight with me for longer than I'd like to admit, he said that he would give me $10 back (not even the cost of the tailoring that didn't happen). I should have tried on the other tops then and there, because when I tried to wear one this weekend (two months later), it also had not even been worked on. The other two that I just tried were actually hemmed.. too much... and now they are crop tops. The moral? Will ruin your nice stuff and give you a headache in handling it. Save yourself the frustration - DON'T DO IT! read more

Took several things here which now smell awful. I believe they must reuse their solution. I now have to get done again. Don't use them.

I don't normally post anything negative on social media but they not only ruined my daughter's clothes but didn't care and were awfully rude. Be very careful. My 19 year old daughter took very expensive clothing to be cleaned, maybe 5 shirts and jeans and one pair of silk shorts. We showed them where there were stains, non of which were removed. Not only that, after charging her 43.00 dollars they actually put safety pins in the silk shorts that caused visible HOLES. I simply asked for my daughter's money back. And they basically told me they were in the right to put holes in the shorts and said how would they hang them up. I said, drape them over the hangar. They raised their voices at me. We have a white top that did not have a stain that now has a pen mark and a hole in the front as well. Just awful. And the gentlemen in front of me was having an issue as they lost his clothing. read more
