Let me start off with the location. When you drive down the street to their location you will keep straight on that rode. Until you get to the end and they are located right in front of you. Look for their logo on the building. We walked in and we greeted immediately and were told to have a seat and in a few minutes we would watch a video on the aircraft. We watch the video and that was it. Until the pilot walked in and greeted us to takes us to the aircraft. So here's the back story. When I set up the entire thing on their website it talked about weights of each person. So I selected what I that was appropriate. I received and email stating the time I selected in the PM was not available and needed to select another time. So I did, however while doing that I received a call that went voice mail. Later I called and was asked about body weights. Well who carries a scale around with them. As a US ARMY Jump master and Rappel master(Retired) weight is critical I have jumped and rappelled out of many helicopters but the only way to verify anything is a scale. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!! We did not get weighed at all. To verify official we were over the rated capacity of the aircraft. Back to the phone call, since I was not sure but weights and I wanted at least my son and his friend to fly I said take me off so we would fall well below that rated capacity. Right before the call was ended I mentioned getting on the scale to verify I was over. The gentleman said that we would all be weighed and it was not a problem........Well there would stood with the pilot at the aircraft about to get in....So I told the pilot that I was told we were all together over weight for this type of aircraft. The pilot immediately asked were we weighed and I said NO WERE NOT WEIGHED. He said the last thing he was told he had three passengers, than we discussed weight with fuel , he even pulled the calculator on his phone and said we were over just by words and again no scale. I did not get in the aircraft. The pilot called the front office and the young man at the check in came with golf cart to pick me up. I went back to the check in area and waited for the flight to be over. While at the check area I asked about the scale and sure enough the young man pulled out a small step on scale, he did mention calibration of the scale. So I stepped on it and was 7 lbs. over. So not to be so graphic, if anyone knows about weight and food in your bowels that weight could change with a visit to the bathroom. I apologize for where I went. Also while there I learned they have bigger aircraft that can take more weight but no pilots availability. So they do have the capability for all of us to fly at one time, that should be posted somewhere on their site. If it is than I don't recall seeing anything about larger aircraft availability. So if you're going to do this flight be tiny small people no one can be over 6 foot 1 inch unless the use a bigger aircraft. Call them before and get all the information. When you check in verify the total weight with a proper calibrated scale. Lastly if you runs a business and have the capacity to offer other options for the experience than say that. Don't let a potential customer find out later that the possibility was present but do to extenuating circumstance it could not happen that day. Maybe saying something like in a week, month come back and you all can fly at the same time. My son did like the flight over all. I rated 3 stars because the other Pilot for the bigger helicopter was not available. Like I always say try it you may just like it.
My MIL and I did the 42 minute "Unforgettable" tour with Terry and had an absolute blast! He made the experience so much fun and I learned so many things about San Diego that I didn't know despite living here for 3+ years. Not only was he a total comedian but he was also professional and kind. It was so amazing and breathtaking to see so much of San Diego from an aerial view! The whole process of booking the tour was super easy and the staff was very friendly as well - they even called and gave options to move our time to later in the day if the weather didn't clear up so we would have the best views and experience possible. Totally recommend Terry and Corporate Helicopters!
Terri was a great pilot! We had an amazing experience during our first helicopter ride. He welcomed us in with champagne and chocolates. It was beautiful to see the sights of San Diego from up above. I'm definitely going to recommend my friends and family to take a helicopter tour someday! :)
My girlfriend has always mentioned wanting to go on a helicopter as I was hesitant about it. We booked a tour with Corporate Helicopter and we're completely happy with our tour. We had Terry as our pilot. He was such a funny, outgoing and knowledgeable person throughout our tour. He made us laugh quite a bit, gave us information about areas in San Diego we didn't know about and made us feel welcome and comfortable in our flight. We definitely recommend booking a tour with this company, and if you get lucky you will get to see Terry's dance moves! We had so much fun! No regrets at all!
It was my 50th Birthday and I wanted to take a helicopter tour. After looking at reviews I knew Corporate Helicopters was the company and Terry was my pilot! He did not disappoint! I wanted views, history, instruction, and FUNNN! Terry is a ball of Fun and made my husband feel totally at ease as he was a bit nervous. The views was spectacular! Terry did not slack on safety either. He informed us from the time we approached the helicopter until we made it back to the office what steps we needed to take to remain safe. If you are thinking about taking a helicopter tour, Corporate Helicopters has an array of options including a winery tour. Make sure you request Terry if you're ready for some fun, and beautiful views!
We had an AMAZING sunset flight with Collin! My BF surprised me for our 7th anniversary and my 30th birthday weekend with a flight. I only regret not having a better camera to document the amazing and iconic San Diego sights we saw and how gorgeous and clear everything was! 10/10 recommend! We are definitely planning another date to experience it all again! thank y'all for helping make this a sweet experience
I highly recommend this company! I booked a helicopter tour for my husband's 40th birthday and we couldn't be happier! Terry ( the pilot) leveled up our experience! He is a funny, kind and interesting guy. We had so much fun with him. As a former radio broadcaster, Terry keeps the energy level as high as the altitude! He is extremely knowledgeable of the land including to architects of the Building and local pop culture. Thank you Terry and thank you corporate helicopter team :)
What a fantastic experience!! We were looking for some good options to celebrate our 8th years of Anniversary. Due to COVID-19 we had to get a Delight tour instead of winery but still what a great Ride ! Terry was our pilot, He is professional and friendly. He opened our Champagne before flight which was really nice of him also His great attitude was a reason my wife forgot about fear of height . Highly recommended and make sure to fly with Terry , he makes it even more fun
Excellent experience and amazing service. For my wife's 40th birthday I booked a helicopter tour with the winery lunch and everything was perfect. It was very easy to book and they gave plenty of information before our flight. The day of, we flew with Terry and he was awesome. He was professional, safe, super friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. You can tell he truly loves what he does. The flight to the winery was beautiful. When we arrived Terry helped us get checked in for our private wine tasting. After spending some time at the winery we were off again. On the way back we did a bit of a longer ride over the coastline. It was an unforgettable experience to be able to see and learn about the area from that vantage point. We were sad when the tour ended, but happy with how the day went and so glad we booked with Corporate Helicopters. My wife who was initially a bit nervous, said that she would 100% do it again.

Our pilot Christian.... Amazing!!!! So friendly! I'm scared of heights but he made it SO easy to fly and I didn't think about how high I was up in the high, he made jokes and kept us entertained, it was super easy to book with corporate helicopter i definitely will book again maybe this time a longer time because it was THAT enjoyable. Also amazing receptionist she was so friendly and bubbly greeted us with a big smile and was being so accommodating to us too!! Her name is Yesenia. We had a great time. 30 minute ride for 2 people came out to be $414 (tax included). The website is easy to use . Everyone was super welcoming. The safety video was informative. Our pilot was wonderful. We are most definitely coming back!! read more

10/10! Had such a great experience with Terry as our pilot. Took us around San Diego and showed us some popular spots! He was so safe, professional and funny. Cracked jokes all along the trip and you can tell he just loves what he does! Great experience with him and the company- super easy to book! I didn't see availability online so I called and they were able to take us in with 2 day notice! Definitely recommend! read more

I rate this experience at 100/10!!! I know the max is 5 stars but by far one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life. I surprised my fiancé with the Top Gun Tour (45minute flight over the coast, down town San Diego, through Miramar and the lands). Our pilot Terry was so much fun to be with and really made the experience one for the books, his experience, knowledge and sarcasm really sealed the deal for us. If you are waiting for a sign of confirmation to book the ticket ... THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!!! Very glad we did this and would recommend Terry over and over again!!! read more

10/10 would recommend. We booked the 30 min for my hubby's bday and what a great trip. Terry, our pilot, gave us all the safety recommendations/precautions and we felt in good hands. He took us for a smooth ride and pointed out all the highlights of the beautiful city we live in. They have longer options re: time but the 30 min trip will get you to the best spots (La Jolla, all the beaches in the city and downtown/views of Coronado, Balboa Park, center neighborhoods). The check-in/parking was super easy and chill on a Saturday. read more

WOW! BOOK NOW! Best experience ever. It was our 2 year wedding anniversary & we showed up ready for our flight but when we got there we were told my husband accidentally booked it on the wrong date! ): BUT Brianna the receptionist found something for us & still was able to make it happen. She was very patient with us & made us feel comftorable about the situation. She smiled a lot & was so sweet to us! We also got the package where we get chocolate + champagne & I highly recommend you get that as well. The champagne was sooo good & you get to keep your wine glasses! Our pilot was Terry, who was amazing!! He sang for us & cracked some funny jokes. He took pictures for us, was very polite & professional. The place was super clean & well kept. I am so grateful for Calvin, Garner and Terry. All three of you gentlemen made our experience absolutely amazing. Getting up in the air with my 16-year-old daughter will be etched in my memory forever. Sara and I are still on cloud nine. From the time I called in to being shown all of the equipment and given a background, all my anxieties were set aside. Terry, you are the best and second to none. My husband and I just finished taking a 30 minute tour over San Diego with Terry. It was our first time in a helicopter and Terry made the experience that much better. WHAT A COOL EXPERIENCE my brother had bought my husband and I this helicopter tour over SD as a wedding gift! It was so special and pretty amazing to see your hometown from up above! I had a reservation through groupon with another helicopter company and was planning on proposing to my girlfriend inside the helicopter. Such a great idea until the night before the proposal at 7:30pm I get a call saying their helicopter went to half power and would grounded for the weekend becuase they will not be able to get a mechanic out." I definitely thanked him for letting me know about this becuase I 100% did not want my girlfriend and I going up in his broken helicopter. They did not have a back up so this left me late the night before with no helicopter for the proposal. I started to panic looking up different helicopter companies. No one was open. Realistically who was going to have a helicopter available for a sunset flight, be accommodating for the proposal idea and be affordable. The 1st company I found was Corporate Helicopters but they were closed so I left a message hoping I could talk in the morning trying to plan this out without my girlfriend finding out. Before I could even have more time to find another company I got a call 20 minutes later from the owner, Ivor. He was so nice! He said they were closed but he heard the panic in the message so he had to call and help me. He saved the day and tells me he has me covered. He had a helicopter at sunset for me. He said he would let the employees know everything all I had to do was call in the morning to finalize everything and pay. I called in the morning as he told me. The employee told me Ivor let him know everything. I was able to plan everything without my girlfriend knowing anything. Plus I got a 15 min longer ride for not much more than the groupon originally purchased for the other company. I showed up with my girlfriend and met the pilot Vince Carter. He was so awesome! Super fun and friendly. He was in on everything and pulled me aside once we got my girlfriend in the helicopter to go over everything quickly. It went perfectly! They saved the day and made this one special ride. I would 100% recommend this company for their professionalism, cost and experience. read more

Big thanks/shoutout to Terry (our pilot) and staff at Corporate Helicopters! From answering all my questions through the phone and being so accommodating. The customer service was excellent. Thank you Terry for capturing these beautiful moments for Shawn and I! Who knew we would also have a professional photographer?! I booked the Romance in the Air Tour. When looking to book the tour online, I saw they offered champagne. I called and found out it came with a bottle of champagne to enjoy before and during the tour, 2 souvenir glasses, and Godiva chocolates! The table had it ready for us right when we walked in the door. It was such a great experience for my bf and I, definitely one for the books! If I could give 10 stars, I would. This was an emotionally charged endeavor and neither of us had been in a helicopter before. Terry provided the perfect balance of white-glove service and disarming bedside manner. Everything flowed effortlessly from our first inquiry about chartering them for our trip all the way to the end. We visited Callaway and saw the most stunning views, were greeted with wine, and escorted throughout the property to our lunch by the most charming attendant. (I wish I remembered his name). We would absolutely consider flying through Corporate Helicopters again (as long as we get Terry ^-^). read more
