Then over the next couple of weeks my pain continued to decrease. I keep going back because my pain continues to decrease. For example I had a sciatica, my L4 was a centimeter forward, I wasn't to a chiropractor to get it fixed. Felt better, but sometimes I would get some tingling down my leg ( not pain) the lymphatic massage took all of that away. I can sit in any position without pain! I had a breast exam and they saw something so I had to go for a 6 month review. At the review they saw nothing. In my particular case what they saw was taken care of by the lymphatic massage. They were not seeing anything serious! I also lost some weight. Only 10-12 pounds. No evidence it was from the massage but I have been dieting since 2014 and all I've been doing is gaining weight. This is the first time I've lost weight I will continue to go back until all of my numbness in my left foot goes away. Right now it just decreases a little bit each time I go. I had been suffering from daily headaches that left my face feeling numb and my neck extremely stiff for two years. My primary doctor found nothing wrong. I sought relief with massages and spent hundreds of dollars trying to get relief. I had to try something new. However, I have extreme anxiety when it comes to meeting with doctors and was terrified to set up a consultation here. Clearly I did and it changed the quality of life. Within one visit my headaches became less frequent. I've had about 15 adjustments now and have been headache free. Setting up the appointment was easy and the next step was to fill out an online questionnaire about my health history and pain. This was the most in-depth review I have seen from a healthcare provider and it was clear that the information was reviewed and taken in to consideration by Dr. Stevens as he laid out my treatment. I was pleased to discover that visual and physical tools are used to figure out what's going on. The X-ray (in office) showed my spine was crooked and my neck was messed up. Finally, a reason I felt awful all of the time! Before the adjustment I needed reassurance that Dr. Stevens wasn't going to twist my body or break my neck. I was assured by him and his staff who were patient and gentle with my anxiety. The adjustment takes place on a table that seems to eliminate the need to do manual manipulation (at least for me). It's fast, too! The table takes longer to lower than it does to be adjusted. It's great! I have also never waited more than 3 minutes to be seen. This place is efficient and I frequently started my lunch breaks with an adjustment with plenty of time to spare. Dr. Stevens is patient and really aims to make sure his patient understands why there's an issue and how it'll be treated. The ladies on his staff are as equally fantastic. My emails are returned immediately and appointments are always accommodated. They even accommodated me when I was going to arrive after they closed because I was coming from out of town. As a patient I feel valued and cared for. Obviously I can't say enough about Life Chiropractic. Adina call me back within the hour and made arrangements for a 4 o'clock massage today. We went with a trigger point session and I didn't realize how knotted up I was, but after an hour and a half I feel like a giant bowl of melted butter. When I say this was the best massage I've ever gotten, that is saying quite a bit because while I haven't had one in about three years I used to get them every two weeks. I patronized some of the best masseuses on the Newport coast and quite frankly received better service from amazing masseuses in fountain Valley, Napa, Key West, Chicago and Mexico but none of them even came close to doing what Adina was able to accomplish today. Fortunately there is an atm about 100 feet from the shop but it charges a stiff fee if you aren't a customer. Best bet is to bring along plenty of cash.

I had to ask 2 more times during the massage for the woman to go stronger and I also let her know the muscles in my neck and shoulders were very tight and needed more pressure. Despite this, she didn't adjust pressure at all until the last 5 minutes of the massage and did not do any deep tissue work on my neck or shoulders. Because she only did deep tissue on two or three random parts of my body for maybe less than 10 minutes total of the whole massage, I now have something pinched in my lower back that I did not come in with. My boyfriend felt his massage was extremely light except for when his back got walked on, which resulted in him also leaving with back pain because of how rushed she was with her approach. There was also another employee yelling during the beginning of our massage as well and the music kept turning off so one of the ladies had to go out several times to tell them to stop and to turn the music back on. Overall it was a huge bummer, especially for the price of $285. It felt like we paid a lot of money to leave feeling worse than we walked in. We won't be coming back.
