Great service for the money but not English speaking so it becomes really difficult to get attention on specific recovery areas. Even after pointing to my thighs they completely ignored the area and I had to upgrade to a longer session, and they still didn't actually use any oil on the skin. This place was so sketchy. No one apple English, so trying to conform my appointment was a nightmare. When I got there, the lady led me down a dark hallway, no lights were on, except for an ambient light in the massage room. There were two pieces of tissue on the face cradle and the thinnest sheet you've ever seen. I felt like I was being watched as I undressed. I told her that it was for my birthday and only wanted my lower back and my feet massaged. Halfway through the massage she left me there for 10 minutes, while some guy was walking around. She came back and finished and said get dressed. I only got about 10 minutes on my feet and low back. I was uncomfortable and nervous the entire time. Went there last week with a horrible migraine with neck and shoulder pain, and Lucy did an incredible job. Still having the migraine and having a hard time working, I called on Monday and made an appointment with Lucy. I went into the room, and got ready, and when "Lucy" came in, I told her to please do what she did last time, which was a great therapeutic massage and 10 minutes of foot massage. A couple minutes into the massage, I could tell it wasn't Lucy. I looked up and said my appointment is with Lucy, and the lady said, "I'm Helen, Lucy went to LA, she is very tired". I asked when Lucy was coming back and was told "a few months.". The massage was ok, but didn't help my pain. When she told me it was over, I told her she didn't do my feet.she said "ok, $20 for 20 minutes.". I said ok, but wasn't worth it. When I went to pay, I asked if they took credit cards and she said yes, but there is an extra fee. I looked in my purse and only had $86 dollars, so Helen only got a $6 tip and she wasn't happy. I told her my appointment was with Lucy and she would have worked on my feet in the 60 minutes. Helen said, "Lucy in Los Angeles, very tired." What is really strange is that I went there 3 years ago for a few months and had Maria as my massage therapist. One day I came in after booking an appointment with Maria and was told she moved to LA. Massage was ok. However the worst and most annoying part is they will chase you down for tips. Both times I left a $10 tip on the massage table and they were extremely rude to me once I was leaving as they insisted on a tip unaware of the fact that I left it for them in the room. Best foot spa treatment in town! I have been suffering from plantar fascitis for months. All doctor treatments have not worked. My spa treatment really helped. My pain is pretty much gone. I came in about an hour before closing. I was immediately greeted and seated. The whole atmosphere inside was very relaxing. I got a half hour foot massage. He made sure to tell me I could get the full hour if I wanted. ( wasn't rushing me, even though it was close to closing time). My experience here on Sunday was GREAT! Mary has extremely strong hands and I could tell that she took the time to feel out my problem areas and really focus on them. I am a new mom and very often these days my upper back muscles cramp up and I can't move, it's so painful and I had needed the TLC for so long. I honestly had low expectations because a similar foot spa I visited in Monterey last year was a COMPLETE let down and I nearly walked out of there nearly crying I was so disappointed, but that was definitely not the case here!! I've seen many new faces come and go but I seem very happy with this latest crowd. I have been to this place many times and I have always enjoyed their service. I usually get either the half or full hour foot massage. The last time I was there, the employee had long nails which tickled my feet. Not relaxing at all. I mentioned it. but he didn't seem to understand me. I would have liked to see them enforcing a 'no cell phone' policy due to the fact that this guy was EXTREMELY loud and obnoxious on his phone; talking about some inappropriate things on top of that! We go to these places to relax and decompress from our daily stresses but all I got was a "basic" foot massage along with annoying, loud, customers. They Cheated me 10mins out of my massage. Just stuck my feet in a bucket and went to talk to vendors in the back. They counted that as part of my massage time. Super men's about tipping they make you pay in advance because they know they will cheat you time. Then they push For a big tip. This used to be my husband's and my favourite place to go to. Ever since our favorite masseuse left, it just hasn't been the same. While they are keeping their same prices, they have cut their massage time a little bit. In some occasions, I wondered if I'm just getting lotioned up or getting massaged. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have never been so humiliated in my entire life. This place must be under new ownership because it has changed dramatically. Have you ever gotten a massage and had the person who runs your credit card point at the tip area on the receipt and insist on gratuity before you can even see the total? I just had this happen and I am stunned. Their prices have changed, which is completely fine and I had planned on giving a tip, of course, but WTF? I gave a very nice tip and the two people at the register pointed and laughed at it. I am appalled. I consider myself to be a generous tipper even when something may not be up to par, I'm still averaging 25% at least. Jesus. Never going back. So my guy and I get massages regularly. We had not been here before, but thought we'd try it. We were in a couples room and we both had thought in the beginning, that we should have called it. I held out thinking I didn't want to ruin my guys massage and he held out not wanting to ruin mine. My masseuse was terrible because he smelled like B.O., didn't know how to massage, and almost intuitively knew how to make it the worst massage ever. While he was massaging me he kept rubbing his genitalia against me. Ugh! My guys masseuse was stinky too and kept clearing his phlegmy throat. Also not a good massage. When I paid,(which I wish now I wouldn't have) I didn't leave a tip and they chased me out the door asking me to tip them. I explained that it was the worst massage of my life. Was disappointed bcuz it says you get the head, arms, back and shoulders but I didn't receive any of that...and the gentleman who took my payment preceded to ask for a tip.
