Katherine is a true gem of an esthetician. I went in with dull, dry and congested skin but came out with a bright, healthy, smooth complexion! Even a week afterwards my skin still felt brighter and more vibrant, and HYDRATED. Ok but on a related note, she is super friendly and sociable and was really good about talking me through what I need to get my skin where I want it to be. I am an esthetician myself and I will only go to Katherine now. She is no doubt, the Black Belt and Master of Peels and Corrective Skin Care in Southern California. I have now had a total of 4 peels done with her and closely followed her home care recommendation (which she made simple) in order to properly prep my skin for each peel. I've been seeing Katherine (I call her Katie) since October 2017. I have cystic acne with deep clogged pores that are so hard to extract. However majority of my breakouts are on my chin. I'm also trying to soften fine lines and reverse pigmentation from the sun and acne scars. She didn't go crazy on my entire face but customized each treatment to my individual skin issues. I was looking for an aesthetician that focuses on in-depth treatment and getting down to business on my skin (not wasting time on the fluff like hand massages and paraffin wraps, I mean those are great but come on, I'm here for my face to get as much treatment as possible and I want it to get all the attention of the professional I'm paying). Enter Katie! She is extremely knowledgeable and creates an menu/plan specific to my faces needs. Combining peals, microderm, masks, etc, etc... -whatever is needed. Honestly, her prices are a steel for the expertise and combinations of treatments offered. And OMG, I love her pumpkin peal!!! I've got rosacea, hyperpigmentation, a bit of scarring from acne and she has been able be aggressive enough to work magic on my issues while not aggravating and even calming down my rosacea (that's not easy and I've found many aestheticians don't know how to deal with this combo and actually make noticeable progress or not make the redness flair up).
