I've been seeing Crizel for about 5 months and the difference in my skin has been night and day! I'm in my late 20s and have never had an issue with acne until getting off the pill a year ago, at which point I started to get very inflamed and painful acne particularly on my jawline. I have been going to the Acne Spot since November 2023, and it's been the best decision that I have made for my skin. I have had acne off and on throughout my life, but my hormonal acne significantly flared up in the last few years. I decided to try something new, and I am so glad that I did!! Lan is such a delight! She is super knowledgeable and answers any questions or concerns that I have. She is so sweet and kind and I look forward to our appointments, as it is just like catching up with a friend! She is an amazing aesthetician, and I am sooo thankful to have her as my guide on my journey to improve my skin. I have seen significant improvement in the overall health of my skin since I have started my acne spot regimen and bi-weekly facials. My face no longer has deep and painful acne like it did when I started the program. My skin texture and appearance has also significantly improved and not only do I see the improvement but so have my friends and family. I am now not as self conscious of my face and that feeling is priceless. However, I must note that it is not an overnight fix. REVIEW UPDATE (1 YEAR LATER!): I'm elated with how far my skin has come since I started seeing Lan (my esthetician) at The Acne Spot a year ago. I can't thank her enough for helping me through this journey and I'm still shocked at how amazing my skin is now compared to when I started. I want to say I was pretty much "acne free" within 7-8 months. At that point, I was promoted to the Clear Skin Program from the Acne Program, where we worked on my next goals, which was to reduce pigmentation and improve texture of my skin. Since then, Lan curated a new plan for me for my visits moving forward and now more than ever my skin is glowing and I am consistently being complimented on my skin by friends and family. I'm officially moving into the Taylor'd Skin side where we will continue to work on my skin texture and overall skin health (plus more "relaxing" spa-like treatments (not that my acne treatments visit before weren't relaxing!). I'm also using/incorporating new products that Lan has recommended based on my own personal goals with my skin and I trust her completely. My acne issues started as I got older and I thought it was manageable with OTC products and ones that were advertised on television. While, they can work for some people, they didn't work for me and made my skin worst. After many trial and error attempts, I resorted to just lathering my face with makeup to try to tolerate my skin... until my sister recommended The Acne Spot. My esthetician of choice is Sarah! I've been working with Sarah for almost a year now! She took time to understand my skin, my history, my skin goals and most importantly, she educated me the entire way! This place was suggested to me on Reddit, I took my mom here for her birthday - we each got the hydration treatment I think , we have sensitive skin so we didn't want anything too crazy, mom LOVED THE HYDRATION JELLY MASK! I began the program in October 2022, and by June 2023 my skin was completely clear--a condition that lasted long enough for me to graduate from the acne program. I still went to the Acne Spot for my monthly facial until May 2024. It was when I ventured into more invasive treatments to minimize my acne scars because The Acne Spot doesn't offer those invasive treatments. In the meantime,my skin was stable and clear long enough so I moved away from the Face Reality products in search of new skincare solutions. This shift led to an increase in breakouts. After nearly a year of exploring various treatments and facials from other providers, I've come to appreciate the exceptional standard of care at The Acne Spot. Unlike other places, The Acne Spot consistently offers extractions as part of their protocol--a critical step often overlooked elsewhere. After spending thousands on invasive treatments from other spas, I still haven't achieved my desired result. I have come to conclusion that my skin type doesn't respond well to those type of treatments, maybe a slow and less invasive treatment would be more effective for my skin. Been going to acne spot for 5 years on a monthly basis, and it's about time I wrote a review! They're always so friendly and I love the atmosphere. The decor is so cute! But best of all, they helped me maintain my acne control and incorporated anti aging treatments as well. The discoloration on my cheeks (meslasma) has greatly decreased with their help. They use Face Reality products and are very well versed in fighting acne. Megan is my usual gal but every esthetician I've seen there is awesome! This clinic and the staff are wonderful! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and welcomed by a very warm front office staff and seated in a spotless clinic. I started coming in mid August when my skin was incredibly broken out and irritated. I did my initial appointment and follow-up with Nicole. She is warm and kind and took her time explaining the program, answering questions, and giving me access to lots of resources. Due to my schedule changing, I then started seeing Megan for my facial appointments. She has been so, so wonderful! She has gradually progressed my skin care routine and provided lots of education and encouragement. The experience of the facial is quite relaxing and I look forward to it every other week. I am now transitioning to the Taylor'd side of the clinic as my acne has resolved and we are now focusing on maintenance and continuing to make my skin look great! But now I genuinely have glowing, hydrated skin, 100% due to The Acne Spot. I started going to the Acne Spot a year ago when I was first pregnant, and saw results within a matter of months. I took my daughter to the acne spot over 1 month ago. my daughter had a little breakout on her forehead & chin area. after using their products and spending over $150 on their cheap quality & HARMFUL products, my daughter broke out even worse AND really badly where she hasn't broken out before on her cheeks! I called weekly to give the acne spot to give them an update and spoke with Olivia & Alicia about my concerns but they recommended I have my daughter continue to use the products with even higher frequency! They also say to go to their facility every 2 weeks for their EXPENSIVE treatments of $135 a session! I expressed to them I live 1 hour away so I can't go during the week but secured a Saturday appt. After expressing my concerns, they cancel my appt yesterday that I scheduled a month ago and they will not accommodate us! DON'T WASTE your TIME & MONEY on this place, they have cheap quality & UNSAFE products, they are not accomodating AND they WILL LEAVE YOUR FACE SCARRED!!!! RESPONSE TO NICOLE: You're A LIAR, no I did not scream at your staff and NONE of whatever you mentioned was explained at the treatment and I can prove with pictures and videos my daughter had a treatment. I NEVER committed to 6 months! You're manipulative and the ABUSER. I QUIT YOU ALL remember & I will report you to the Better Business Bureau & I will look into character defamation.
