I would like to know where my long time Dr. Belkis Perez went? When you call you are told she abruptly left 2 months ago and nobody knows where she is? I don't buy it. Someone must know if she is in the area. Or, how to contact her if she's at a new practice. I doubt she was abducted by aliens or was sucked into a black hole. Very frustrating as I loved her and she helped me with my glaucoma. If anyone knows please let me know. If she left area fine but I feel like this practice was told not to say. read more

I had the lasik procedure 5 years ago. I called to schedule a check up on my eyes as I am having minor problems. I spoke to Catherine to find out how much it would cost me "out of pocket" for an appointment with Dr. Gonzoles. She told me that she would look into it and return my call the next day. She never did. I called the office 10 days later and the attendant put me on a long hold and came back and told me she doesn't know me do he had to take all of my information again and I still don't have an appointment. I went to the office today for a total exam. Dr. Gonzalez was very nice she suggested I use glasses to drive and watch TV. After I left the office I realized that I didn't have a prescription to go get my glasses done. I called the office to see if they could fax or email the prescription to me, I was told that I had to pay an extra $50.00 for them to write a prescription, she told me to pay or go to an optical office and pay for another exam. This is totally unacceptable, I paid $45.00 co-pay and provided them my insurance information. What a scam. I will not be returning or recommending this place. read more

Ultimately the best decision was to get lasik surgery led alone I got lucky by choosing this office. It was a great experience from the moment I walked in from the clean beautiful new office to the outstanding customer service in all the staff. The wait time was short and I was takin care of in a timely fashion. The surgeon was a very kind hearted man and absolutely caring. The consultant I met was Ruth who was absolutely informative and so kind. All my questions were answered and I was educated and reassured on all my options and their safety. After my lasik surgery I could see with no complaints and I have which I would describe HD vision! Healing time is different for everyone but for me it was a breeze. read more

Went in for an eye exam because I need a new prescription and was there 3 hours only to walk out without a prescription as it's an extra $50 on top of my deductible. Why don't they tell you that over the phone while making the appointment??? This place is misleading and I will never come here again nor will I ever recommend anyone. read more

Beware. I don't normally write reviews, but feel compelled and a sense of responsibility. I wish someone had warned me about them. The surgery was not flawless. The laser moved. I explained to the doctor and he was quite concerned and then it was dismissed as it all worked as expected. I saw perfectly immediately after the surgery, and began seeing less and less at each follow up. The assistants are coached to force you to guess at the letters on the eye exam and then the doctor comes and confirms that you are better than 20/20, when all I was being forced to say was my best guess at what I was seeing. When I'm driving, I can't guess at the signs until I'm too close to make the turn safely. When I'm reading, I can't stopped squinting to try to see the letters on the page. I can't read as much as I used to because I get headaches from struggling so much to see. I kept going back, to get answers in why I need glasses to see again. The doctor denied that I had any issue with seeing, that he can't give me a prescription. I believe they are not honest. Had I walked in with this deficiency, they'd be saying I'm a candidate for the surgery and would be taking another $3500 for surgery to get me to 20/20 or better. I now have to pay out of pocket again to be evaluated by another doctor. I do not trust them and would not recommend them. Beware. I am giving them one star for cleanliness and one star for convenient multiple locations. read more

I had LASIK done about 3 weeks ago, and although my recovery period isn't complete, i am incredibly satisfied with the results! the staff is very nice, knowledgeable and professional. any and all questions i had were answered accurately and without hesitation; it made me feel very comfortable that they all knew the critically of their business. Dr. Concool was my surgeon, and he exactly what one would want as a surgeon. he is experienced, polite, understanding and confident. he was open and clear about all my concerns and questions, and he performed the whole LASIK procedure in minutes. There are a lot of "wannabe" LASIK surgeons and businesses. This is not one of them. This is the real deal, and i am very happy to have chosen them to do my surgery. I had lasik done last week. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for over 50 years. The procedure was a bit scary, i have to admit. The thought of slicing my eye was a bit stressful but the staff was there to reassure me that Dr. Bosem is the best in the business. And he is! I was able to see the eye chart immediately after the procedure and i got emotional. Dr. Bosem understood my reaction and immediately gave me a hug. I was so delighted that i could see without glasses that I'm still walking on air. I do have to use reading glasses for the computer and books,but i don't mind it at all. I can drive with out any coke bottom lens glasses. I love this place and their whole staff. They even were understanding with my finances, which is rare these days. You Can Afford This!!! Went to correct vision after finding them online. I had LASIK eye surgery before and had 2 touch ups since then. Dr bosem gave me an option but didn't want to so both eyes as he felt if we were to do it that I should only do the right eye.. I feel as though there aren't enough words to describe just how dedicated and caring Dr. Bosem and his staff really are. Originally I went to Vision Lasik Institute (found a Groupon) for Lasik and I had such a bad feeling there. They gave me a "consultation" which lasted about 5 minutes and they told me I qualified. DO NOT GO THERE. A consultation is supposed to ensure that your eyes are healthy enough for such a procedure, and that requires a decent amount of tests and examinations. At Correct Vision Laser Institute they took over an hour to guarantee that I was a good candidate, and they went over all of my concerns and questions (as a neurotic person I had plenty of questions and they took time answering and explaining them to me with no problem). Of course for the procedure I was nervous, so Maria from the front office offered to come in and hold my hand. The procedure is painless and quick. Within a few hours I was actually able to see 20/15. Truly I cannot encourage you enough to go here. They treat you as a unique and individual case with specific needs and they really care about your well-being. You may find a cheaper place, but these are your only pair of eyes and they deserve the absolute best care, which is what you will find here. I highly highly highly recommend. I am so sooo pleased with the results of my lasik surgery!!!For the first time, I can see clearly and sharp! My sister and I decided to get the procedure done together and even though she chose the new wave laser to create the flap, I decided to get the old school procedure which uses a blade instead of the lasers to create the flap because of the lower cost. The surgery itself only took about 15 minutes and was completely pain free. My only concern was a gentleman who worked in the office who was constantly warning me about getting the "old school" style lasik which made me extremely nervous. He told me if I didn't get the more expensive lasik, there may be complications & nobody ever gets that style anymore. :/ I'm not sure if it was to upsell to get me to spend more on the newer procedure or not but it was very unsettling especially hearing all of this literally right before my surgery! Thank goodness for Jenna calming me down and assuring me that Dr Bosem is BEYOND qualified to do the procedure I wanted! I couldn't be happier! Do not purchase this establishment's "Complete Lasik surgery for $2400" Groupon offering. I made this mistake and found it to be a classic bait and switch...or maybe I have a different understanding of the word "complete." Have you had the pleasure of listening to a time share pitchman trying to sell you a two week a year condo? Dr. Barry Concool of CorrectVision is a Lasik pitchman who will draw you diagrams, offer easy financing, and tell you "complete" isn't good enough...you gotta spend an extra $1100 to get the complete "complete." I got out of their office and got a refund, so I can't speak of this establishment's medical prowess...but you've got to ask yourself...what kind of doctor would need to use Groupon to lure customers, and what kind of idiot would use a Groupon for surgery?
