Then about six months ago I started noticing a very strong solvent odor to my newly drycleaned clothes. I mentioned it to the owners and they could not explane it. The smell continued and I decided to learn more about it. I learned that the smell came from using overused, dirty, or improperly filtered drycleaning solvent. I learned that the smell can be removed by redrycleaning with pure and properly filtered drycleaning solvent. Since changing drycleaners I no longer notice the smell.

He knows what he is doing and is the only tailor in Seattle capable of making hand finished, high end garments. As with all artists, he has a perspective and won't do certain things he thinks will look poorly on a customer. Some people don't like that, I think it gives you comfort knowing that you won't come out looking ill-proportioned. He is not cheap, nor is he inexpensive, for either alterations or custom garments, but you get what you pay for and that is quality. People complaining about the cost of his alterations probably don't own garments nice enough to warrant his work. That is not meant to be a knock, but his expertise is best left for fine tailoring.

I called in on a saturday morning, and got a quote from Mimet over the phone. I needed to have a suit jacket taken in a bit, and the rate he quoted me was more than reasonable. I stopped in and knew instantly that I was in the realm of a seasoned pro. As mentioned by one of the other reviewers, not only do you get your clothing professionally fitted when you come in here, but you also get a proper schooling on some of the finer points of men's furnishings and fittings. The tailor here is extremely personable and friendly. He did a wonderful job, and I am eager to recommend him/them here on the pages of Yelp. Excellent work!

They did offer to let out near the bust to make the dress a touch more comfortable and ran into a snag, the dress maker did not leave additional fabric for this. Since the fabric was too delicate to restitch the zipper they ended up having to do a corset back. This was not my ideal outcome but the work was wonderful and done timely.

Horrendous experience…read more I submitted a request for quote for disposal of construction debris. They came back with a price of $225, the lowest of all the quotes. I sent them pictures to confirm the price but they said they needed to see it in person. That's fair, I figured that the other garbage haulers would do the same. When they came, looked at the garbage, the price went up to $300. I just wanted it done, so I agreed. Midway through the work, they started complaining about how there was wood and tried to squeeze me for more. I wasn't paying anymore since they "re-quoted" after seeing the garbage onsite. When they "finished", I looked at the work they did and saw that they left a large mirror and all the paint cans. Their quote said it included disposal fees, but now, they weren't going to take either the mirror or the paint. Not only that, they left the garage and driveway a mess. I was so tired of dealing with them, I just paid them and cleaned up everything else myself. Do yourself a favor and avoid them. There are plenty of other options out there.
