If my rent was literally half what I'm paying now, I would say that living here would be worth it. I'm paying an absurd amount of money for a small studio with terrible, cheap fixtures and appliances. The unit is dark and depressing. It takes many requests to get maintenance done. Parking is a nightmare. The only thing I like about living here is the location. Being right along the Milwaukee Trail allows easy access to downtown, campus, etc. read more

we really love living at the Corso Apartments. Very pet friendly and includes an on-site dog park! The apartments are bright with high ceilings, and include washer/ dryers dryer, and state of the art kitchens with garbage disposal, dishwasher, pantry, and tons of cupboard and drawer space. Beautiful clubhouse, outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. The staff is friendly and very conscientious and meet your maintenance needs in a very timely manner. Just love living here! read more

I lived at corso for almost 3 years. My first year was fine, until when renewal time came around the 1,200$ rent went up to almost 1,500. Like an idiot i stayed but moved into a 2 bed 2 bath that was 1,600$. The first year was okay but that apartment was disgusting. nothing was cleaned which is crazy because they charge such a high cleaning fee for a company to come in to clean. In February, they raised rent to 1897$!??? That's insane and when our washer and dryer unit started to act up (which was completely due to it being an older unit, as much as the maintenance guy would deny. He said about three different reasons why it was broke lol) and started to flood!! we were without a washer dryer for about a week and a half, then our replacement was an ADA accessible washer dryer combo. They failed to tell us it could only hold maybe a pant and shirt, and would take more than 4 hrs to completely dry. Which is wild that they couldn't just use my almost 1,500$ deposit to get a new one. Then as we decided to early term our lease the communication between different office staff was awful. we had some tell us the rent wouldn't increase for the new tenants and that the security deposit would transfer(which is clearly outlined in the lease) then Thaddeus decided that wasn't the case. I have screenshots of the listing of our apartment going from 1,900$ to about 2,100$ in less than a week. Not only is how we moved out and the termination process boarding illegal with not conforming to the legally binding lease agreement. but it was incredibly stressful. I left that apartment uncleaned and in a rough state for that reason :) again if they are going to steal your deposit anyways, you might aswell save some time. I would GREATLY consider looking at Missoula Property Management or Plum if you are looking for decently priced home and an amazing office staff. read more

I was very interested in living here but weekly they have upped the prices of the same apartments by hundreds of dollars. I was looking when the 1 bedroom was around $1200, then a week later it is listed as $1300, today it is up to $1600. Untrustworthy and greedy. read more

I've been a resident for 18 months, roughly. My bike was stolen from the "secure" bike storage area and I was offered no help. There's no surveillance and a door was unlocked, leading to my lock being cut. Then they raised rent in the peak of COVID, all while cutting amenities (responsible choice) due to covid (such as printing, pool, common areas). I am thrilled to be leaving. This place is the definition of an apartment complex that will nickel and dime you at every turn. Also the parking is awful. You never get a spot unless you pay for a special one. I'm assuming the complex has some sort of deal with The Source too because they are allowed to use the Corso parking lot 24/7 but if a Corso member is found in The Source lot after 8am they'll be towed. So limited parking is even more limited. read more

I have found Corso to be a huge disappointment, from the outside the place looks pretty good for Missoula, when you go in the buildings the entrance floors are rarely vacuumed, the concrete stairs have never been cleaned there has been pet feces and urine on the stairs since I've moved in, the hallways have pet stains and the smell on the upper floors stink horrible, have held my breath on warm days the smell is awful, thankfully the smell hasn't lingered into my apartment! When it says your rent is $950.00 add all the extra fees you pay $1050 that is a lot of nickel and diming, the pool looks nice signs everywhere not allowed to have more than 2 guests which would mean I can't bring both grandkids and even 1 parent? no alcohol allowed, adults aren't allowed to BBQ and have a drink there in the summer time? I get no glass but not a drink? not that I even do just that the rules are ridiculous, If I have guests from out of town their not allowed at the pool without the resident while your working? again I have never heard of all these rules where i've rented in the past, the police stations is on the street directly behind the complexes so there are sirens at all hours of the day and night, there are homeless people around all the time with the salvation army next door sleeping in their doorways at the salvation army people sleeping in their cars a mattress laying by their garbage for a month I have only stayed because moving is the worst thing ever. I have been in apartment living for many years, don't always take things for face value or what's on the surface, is a little deceiving :( read more

We have lived here for a little over a year. The property has really gone downhill since we moved in. However, the rent increased quite a bit. Very expensive and most amenities have been taken away or are now limited. They no longer have a Clubhouse attendant so it makes it difficult to retrieve packages after I get home from work. The current office staff leaves a lot to be desired. The new gal that recently started is very condescending. I believe her name is Briane. She will lie to your face regarding policy. They gave one of my packages to another tenant and they did nothing to help locate it. I am out the package and money. The purchase place will not refund my money because it shows delivered and signed for and Corso has a 'we don't care' attitude. The pool is always crowded with people that do not live here. The lease says 2 guests per resident but obviously that rule is not enforced. Unless you are a 'favorite' you can forget getting any assistance. It seems they have recently started renting to some real riffraff. Also, they don't enforce the pet rule. There are tenants that have animals that the office does not know about. Oh, and forget about security, cars are constantly being broken into. One good that is at Corso is the maintenance guy, Randy, I believe is his name. Very friendly and on top of his game. Always willing to lend a hand and knows his job very well. The only asset to Corso Apartment Homes. If you can find housing elsewhere DO IT! Corso is only interested in taking your money. Several people have moved out recently due to high rent and rude office staff. And another thing, they have a no-smoking rule which is awesome. However, people hang out at the dumpsters or in the parking lot to smoke. Looks very tacky and the people smoking look like transients. There are also some tenants that smoke in my building. Overall, I would not recommend living here and once our lease is up, we are out of here. Do yourself a favor, just find somewhere else to live. Don't believe the hype with the 'sales pitch' and outdated pictures of the grounds. read more

We have had such a great experience with Corso. The management is incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, and flexible. Maintenance was always so speedy to fix anything that wasn't working, and the hot tub and pool were always so clean. I loved living here and would do so if we ever moved back to Missoula again! read more

Good location, environment blah blah blah. I've lived here since September 2014. Here's some thoughts: The number one thing about living here is the staff. I don't know how others feel, but the staff is awesome (to me). They have a lot of residents, but whenever I go to the office they know me by name. Not only that, I never have to remind them what apartment I live in, they just know. For instance, when I get packages UPS won't leave them at the apartment when im out. They take them to the office. So when I go pick it up the Corso Staff recognizes me, greets me, and gives me my box without asking who I am. My point, if your not following, is that they actually will remember you. Does this mean they care? I like to think so. Here's some other great stories. * There was this guy on the 2nd floor once who thought it was super cool to share his awesome hippity hoppity music with the building. Booom boooom booom. The walls shook for a week. Thats all the time Corso needed to kick him out. Residents and office alike tried to warn him, but to no avail. * I was once having a dreadful day and was moping by the office to get my bike. The manager came out side, waved, and wished me a good day. I kinda cheered up after that. * The maintenance guy once helped me carry a big heavy box to my apartment. Pros: * Quiet for the most part, except when your neighbors are not home and their dogs bark until the shock collar kicks in. Too expensive for the college crowd so there is rarely if ever partying going on. Most folk I see around are of the 30-80 crowd, or the young couple that can't afford to party. * Pool! And Spa. * Near the Bike/walking trail that runs through Missoula. Can ride that straight to the University if necessary. * Veteran Friendly. * Right by The Good Food Store if that's your kind of shopping. * Parking seems to be okay and balanced. You can purchase a carport and have a guaranteed spot. * They DNA check the dogs here, meaning everyone is kinda encouraged to clean up after their animals. Clean grass, but I still wouldn't walk through it barefoot. * Office keeps packages safe at the office until you get home from work/school. * The Corso Team at the office, and the two Maintenance guys. * American Rent bubble may pop soon, so rent could go down? Cons: * Try not to get an apartment facing Russell St. Your days at home will sound like traffic... in Montana? How is that even logical? Whoooosh... whoooshhh... whooshhhh. * People seem to think it's cool to drive around outside with their subwoofers. * The parking lot in front of The Source gym can get quite annoying when folks are running their vehicles or music. * The apartments DO NOT transmit noise (this is good), EXCEPT for two things. Bass and dog barks. Bark bark bark. * Socialist water system. We're all charged the same for water, despite how much you use. I shower three times daily now just for fun. * Corporate thinks its the 1990's and charges folks 5$? to use their credit card to pay rent. Most of us just drop by the office and pay with a "check". We moved here a couple of weeks ago and have been absolutely thrilled. The one bedroom is spacious, clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had an issue with our oven and they fixed the problem right away! Truly excited to live here. read more
