WOW, what a hidden gem! I'm glad that I found out about Northcoast Hotel Liquidators. This is a big…read morewarehouse of used furniture. BUSINESS MODEL -- They buy furniture from hotels that are renovating or hotels that are closing down. ITEMS -- They have loads of sofa beds, sofas/couches without pullout beds, small lounge chairs, beds, TV's, lamps, mirrors, picture frames, kitchen bowls, desks, side tables, and much more. Due to thr nature of the furniture (USED), some of them are worn out and old but still in good enough shape. PRICE -- The items here are affordable foe those on a low budget or just those who don't want to pay full price. SERVICE -- Customer service was excellent when I visited. One gentleman helped me look around the sofa's. I ended up not buying anything because the red sofa that I wanted was a sofa bed so it would have been heavy to carry up to my apartment. They offer DELIVERY for $50 but will only deliver to your front door not inside your house because of the Coronavirus. Overall, I had a great experience here and I'll continue to check out their website for deals and 'new' sofas that will be added to their inventory. **** - 26/200 total reviews in 2020 - 402 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 23 May 2020

After my parents went here for there couch we decided to check it out on their recommendation. So glad we did. Bob helped us with questions and Kathleen helped us with the final sale. This place has a great mix of modern and the current farmhouse fashions amongst other styles.I highly recommend it on your hunt for new furniture. My favorite part is the sales reps don't follow you through the store and pester you. I went to value city and you would of thought I was a movie star the way they were stalking me. *update Got couch, still love it. Great service. Delivery guys were great as well!

I decided to shop around locally. When we entered, we were greeted by Tom. He was very friendly and professional. He didn't try to sell us anything over the top. We chose this behemoth. It has everything we wanted. It is a tad too big for my living room, but that's ok. I'm willing to sacrifice a little more space for comfort. Altogether, it cost me $2,700. That included couch, delivery & assembly, 5 year protection/replacement, and they hauled the old couch to the curb. My only gripe is I feel for the extra $200 they should offer to haul away the old furniture, especially since bulk pickup is only available certain days of the month, and if it's placed at the curb too early, you can get fined.

I started down the rocker recliner aisle, cause I was looking for a loveseat. I was chased down the aisle by Tom, who I didn't hear, but who worked with me, helped me, explained MUCH and told me that he'd been with this place since KronHeims and somebody else too and he was over 80 and pretty much had decades of experience. I told him what I was looking for. And I was very specific in my needs. He showed me a couple options and he was right on the money. I got it down to three choices and then down to two choices and I eventually bought a loveseat AND a rocker recliner that day and put it on my credit card. within a half hour Ellen the office manager was calling me because she wanted to verify my address. It was smudged or illegible on her original. I was still in the car and I pulled mine out and my COPY was perfectly legible. But there was no phone number listed, they never asked. If there were no phone numbers listed, how did she call ? first thing Monday morning I called Ellen at the Brook Park store outlet to talk to her about our conversation on Saturday after she called me and I said there's no phone number on the Order, how is it You got my phone number? She ah and umm'd four times during our conversation because she had no idea how anybody got my private unlisted Phone number so I called her on it and she said well. The salesmen have a tool. I want to know what the name of the tool. She didn't know the name of the tool - the office manager did not know the name of the tool? I am angry. I am upset and I'm close to canceling my order at this very moment and it's Monday Delivery eventually arrived date asked for in early January but the delivery guys would NOT take my old sofa out as i had asked for cuz there's no where to put it here. Went back to store on Wednesday, spoke with Tom, spoke with STORE Manager and asked for a repair on rocker recliner. The repair was scheduled. The repair person was exceptional --came in diagnosed. The problem said he'd be back in a few weeks when the part came in --this company is exceptional. He came back in three weeks to fix both my recliner and my loveseat because they both had the same issue and left for the day. It is now more than six months later and these two pieces are already showing where they are very extremely cheaply made pieces and I'm not exactly happy that I pay $1200 for this junk. 20 years ago I bought five pieces of furniture for under $3000 . All were oversize pieces all quality leather and there was nothing wrong with them when I gave them away. So the quality of manufacturing has gone down extremely and i surely am seeing it. And now it nine months after my purchase, I have never ever heard from any of them to check how my delivery went, to check how my furniture was, to check how my repair went to check how I liked my furniture. These brothers may be funny on TV, but they're not anywhere NEAR what KRONHEIMS USED TO DO FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WHAT BASISTA DID FOR THEIRS. This junk will most likely be replace in the next year AGAIN, not keeping this for the 20 years i thought i might. Not buying from this company again. They got my money and disappeared. VERY UNHAPPY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. and they dont even LOOK AT YELP TO SEE WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY

This is very nice furniture that is well built and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Unfortunately there was nothing in the store that was exactly what I wanted so we had to go the custom route. So I wasn't totally sure how things were going to turn out. But I am beyond thrilled with how the desk turned out. When I put my deposit down I was told it would be 8-12 weeks and it ended up being right at 12 weeks. Factor in the holidays and it may have come in a little sooner. We are in the market for some new patio furniture and I will be going back to get the pricing. Thank you for all you do. I will be back soon!

We have been ghosted multiple times…read moreby owner Gary after our several attempts to resolve an issue with the custom dining room table set we purchased over 4 years ago. They seem to care while trying to gain your business, but once they've got your money and delivered your product, their follow service is atrocious. We purchased $10k worth of custom furniture from their store in late 2019. For the dining table set, I asked the owner's wife, who was assisting us, if a rough sawn table top would still be flat enough that a plate wouldn't wobble, while still achieving a distressed look. I was assured that was true. Our table's surface is so uneven that we have to be very careful with where cups and plates are set so they don't wobble and spill, which is completely impractical for my family with young kids. Then, after just a few short months of use, we began having issues with the finish flaking off. Our table is stained with a glazed finish over top. Initially, we thought it was due to a piece of scotch tape that had been used to hold a protective covering on the table for a very brief time. However, over time, finish has flaked off around all edges of the table, just with regular use (no more tape). Additionally, the heads of 3 screws used to mount the tabletop to the supporting brackets underneath have completely fallen off and been found laying on the floor. This table does not get moved around; it has always remained in the same place, so the only reason I can come up with is that the screws were overtightened during assembly. I emailed Gary with my concerns in mid-2020. He responded, offering to run the top through a sander and he was going to check into the concerns with the finish. He said he could pickup the table in about a month, since things were crazy with the lockdowns (perfectly understandable). I reached out 2 months later, and he said he'd come pick it up within a few weeks. Two more months went by, so I reached out again. This time - no response. I reached out again another 4 months later (early 2021)...nothing. An entire year went by and we heard nothing. By this time, we had 3 young kids, so it was hard to find the time to follow-up. My husband finally went to the store in early 2022 to talk to Gary directly. Gary claimed he "hadn't forgotten about us" and would reach out soon to arrange pickup and repair of our table. Here we are two years later, and we've still heard nothing from him. So, we are stuck with a several thousand-dollar piece of furniture for which we can get no remedy because of Furniture Nook's awful customer service. I strongly suggest you save yourself the headache and time, and shop elsewhere!
