We had braced ourselves for a long day possibly full of disagreements and detailed discussions about things like firmness, brand, financing, delivery, etc. OMF was the first and only place we went -- and we walked out the door happy within about 15 minutes, total, our new mattress delivered and set up and ready to be slept on in less than a week. Ryan, the store manager, was a delight to work with, giving us all the info we needed but never upselling us or pressuring us. He answered all of our questions, anticipated some that we didn't think to ask, and left us to make our own decision without a watchful sales eye (I hate when places keep an eagle eye on you while you try to figure things out!) I loved that they don't have a TON of mattresses to choose from -- just a few, locally made, on a firmness scale so that you can easily determine which ones you think you want to try and which ones not to bother with. We went with the second firmest option, with the springs, and a frame without a headboard (though Ryan let us know that they can pretty easily be attached later, if we want to buy one from OMF or elsewhere). Our mattress and bed were delivered the next weekend. Communication was easy and helpful, and the guys who made the delivery were speedy and skilled, navigating our narrow staircase without a single ding or dent in the walls. I came in to Levins Strongsville location off of Pearl Rd clueless of what I wanted or what I needed and met this incredible guy named Jay. He literally helped me identify exactly what I needed after I told him about my problems. The great thing about Jay is that he wasn't a pushy salesman. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive mattress. He took his time and listened exactly what I was looking for and what type of budget I was working with and from there he went in with his recommendations. Of course I decided to splurge on myself and ended up selecting a Stearns and Foster mattress based off of their reputation and their incredible 10yr warranty you get when purchasing a cover. You know you're adulting when you get excited about waking up with less aches and pains! So we set up a day for it to be delivered which to met surprise was 3 days later! The next morning I woke up at the excitement of getting a new bed and decided I wanted to purchase the same one for my parents since they were also complaining about neck and body aches and figured since I couldn't afford to buy them a house the least I could do is invest in really great mattress for them for Christmas! I arrived early in the morning and the location was closed for another hour. There was a guy inside who saw me and came to the door. His name was Matt. He was super nice and gladly helped me place another order for my parents mattress. Zero attitude. He didn't point at his watch and tell me to come back. This is the type of service you will receive at this store. Both Jay and Matt have incredible customer service skills and you feel super comfortable investing in a new mattress. When shopping for a mattress, we were hoping for more guidance, someone who would take a few minutes to understand what we were looking for, explain the differences between the mattresses, and help us narrow down which options might be suited for us. Instead, we felt more like we were expected to determine where to start and what to compare based on price point. We understand that every customer shops differently, and we certainly don't expect a salesperson to know exactly what someone wants immediately. To start the appointment he discussed the differences in ours and theirs. I am not really sure what company the comparison was against because other cabinets I looked at were very similar to northeast factory direct. I then felt pressured to pick the exact cabinet selection. He said they had off the shelf and then more custom cabinets and he made it seem like I couldn't change my mind. I had a design layout and then he proceed to recreate it in his system even though I asked him to offer his own ideas. I just left feeling that no personalization was made to the process. Plus their prices were higher. I suggest shopping around before making a decision.

1-Star Review -- Think Twice Before Buying a Mattress from Levin Furniture…read more I strongly recommend that customers think twice before buying a mattress from Levin Furniture. My first mattress developed a dipping/sagging problem. I contacted Levin, they inspected it, and eventually replaced it. Unfortunately, the second mattress has developed the same dipping problem. When I contacted customer service again, I was told that I have to pay $54 just to have the mattress inspected. What is most frustrating is that Levin Furniture is essentially the middleman between the mattress manufacturer and the customer. Many customers may not realize this when they make their purchase. When something goes wrong, the customer can end up dealing with the manufacturer's warranty requirements and additional inspection costs. I am very disappointed after having the same problem with two mattresses. My advice: Before buying a mattress from Levin Furniture, ask exactly what happens if the mattress dips or sags, who is responsible for the problem, what the warranty requirements are, and whether you will have to pay inspection fees.
