I took it to Peretic's auto repair because they were located within walking distance and I wanted to give them a try as a new business. I left the car and received a call a couple of hours later telling me that it needed a new pump, they had the part in stock, and the cost was $125. I made the mistake of telling them that my car was under extended warranty but there was a hundred dollar co pay to take it to the dealer for any repairs under warranty. My husband questioned their assertion that they had the part in stock as pretty much unlikely. He called Autozone and they said they had one pump for my model/year in stock for $15. We looked at some Youtube videos and saw that it was a simple job and decided to just cancel the job. When I went went to the shop to tell them that we were cancelling they tried to charge me $65.00 for loiking at it. I expressed my dissatisfaction with them vocally telling them that I was being taken advantage of and that I would be letting others know about my experience. The owner then said that they would "waive" the fee and that he could clean out the clogged pump and put it back in, which he did at no cost. It is functioning perfectly now. I believe, based on the unlikihood of them having that particular part available that he intended to do just what he did and charge $125. I do not recommend them based on my experience.
