Way too entitled to my lender information and very pushy in knowing about my loan. went through two different agents and neither showed us any houses or did anything for us, really. All communication was when we reached out and felt very unsettled working with them. My husband and I lived out of the state and wanted to buy a particular home in Redding. I contacted the listing agent (Cory Meyer) and spoke with his associate Shay. I told Shay that we were pre-approved, and I wanted to put an offer on this home. He asked me who my realtor was. I told him that we were using a real estate attorney to represent us in the process. He LAUGHED at me asking who would show me the home. I explained to him that we were out of state, assured him we had done our research and were confident about buying the home without seeing it first (it was a newer home and we were excited to make an offer). He told me that he would have to talk to Cory about it and would call me back. A few days later, I had not heard back from Shay, so I called the office and spoke with a woman to ask about the status of the offer we wanted to make. She sounded confused and told me we had been put on the UNINTERESTED LIST for the home. She seemed very confused and embarrassed. She told me that she would find out why and get back to me. I never heard from her or Shay again. I was very shocked and upset. Was I blacklisted because of wanting to use an Real Estate attorney instead of an agent? A few weeks later, my husband and I had traveled to Redding still looking for a home to buy. We had just decided to use a local real-estate agent instead of an attorney, but had not decided on which one yet. The SELLING agents were very professional showing us homes even though we did not have a buying agent yet. We avoided homes sold by Corey Meyer because of how we had been treated by them, but there was one home that I was very interested in that had been on the market for about 45 days. I asked my husband to call this time because of my negative experience, hoping he would be treated better. He called and unfortunately spoke to Shay. My husband told him that it was our last day in Redding and were very interested in a home listed by Cory Meyer. When he heard we did not have an agent available to show us the house before we were leaving, he LAUGHED at my husband and told him he would have to talk to Cory about showing us the home themselves. We never heard from him again. Goodbye dream home number 2. There is an overabundance of homes in Redding for sale. We found our dream home without the help of Cory's team. Even though I was furious, I knew the real victims were the home sellers this real estate agency represented. It is their pledge & duty to bring qualified interested buyers to the seller. But they seem to believe that their selling commission is not worth showing the home to a potential buyer. As far as I could tell, neither of those homes sold. read more

Very poor service. No communication, no real effort to sell a property. I ask one of the "office girls" about an open house and she didn't know what that was. I thought that it was an agent's job to advise you how best to sell your property. Was I wrong? Six months of no service other than their name on the listing. Try someone (ANY ONE) else. read more

I listed a house with Corey Meyer and it was sold within a few days, mainly because we undervalued the house. We needed to get rid of this house as soon as possible. Once the deal was made with the buyer we had to fight Coreys office all the way to the end to get information out of his office. He did not know what was being signed and asked multiple times for the same paperwork.His office almost seemed to not care during the 60 day escrow. His office never updated us We had to give him the information that he should have obtained through his office. The deal closed two weeks late and Corey had 60 days to get all the information completed which he did not do on time. The owner wanted to close early, but Corey seemed not to care. I recommend using any other agent in Redding except Corey's office. read more

We had a great experience and the process was a true delight! Most people do not understand how much time and effort the Realtor puts into a Selling/Buying transaction. This was a very tricky sale for the Cory Meyer Team as we were moving out of the Golden state to our forever home on the Oregon Coast. Not only did Cory have to help get me top dollar he had to keep my name private and unknowing. Not only did he deliver in all aspects of the Sale his staff were second to none! From the final check to the first offer and all steps in between they did the best and then some ! All I can say really is if your a normal person and need help from one of the best in the North State use Cory. Not only would I use him again I have had 4 friends use his service on both sides of the Realty business and they were all so happy and feel blessed to meet a great Realtor, Husband, Dad, Son, Boss, and for me now a friend for life ! My husband and I were very disappointed by the representation, or lack thereof, we received with them. They were not good at keeping us informed on what was going on and wouldn't try to negotiate with our bank for us at all. A good realtor would call on your behalf and often can negotiate better than if you were to call yourself. I agree with a previous review in that they seem to be more willing to side with the buyer. I guess since they weren't going to get a huge commission from the sale of our home we weren't very important to them. Very lazy. read more

Not impressed! They changed transaction coordinators on us 3 times. We never knew who was handling the sale of our home. No one ever told us hey were passing us off to someone else - found out when we got a new email. Lack of communication. All the way around, other agents and lenders all told us things were being held up because of Realty Executives and their office staff. Told multiple times by their staffers that they weren't in the loop and needed to get back with me. Very unprofessional throughout entire process. Will NEVER use again. Will NEVER recommend. WILL tell everyone I know to go to someone else. Our closing had to be extended twice due to their lack of communicating with buyers agent. We signed paperwork and it wasn't forwarded until almost 2 weeks later - hence, the delays and extensions. We closed 2 weeks late and took on extra costs due to Cory Meyer and his team. Even on the day of closing, got a call from their office that there was a 'glitch". Not a happy customer. *Found out a week after moving that there were 2 other offers in on our home that we were never informed about. Possibly could have gotten more for our home, if not, would have been nice to know in case the deal fell through. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! read more
