The seller seems really nice but Stewart Real Estate left us high and dry without communicating with the seller and the buyer real estate. I'm a skepical, informed, first time home buyer. I do not react well to pushy sales people and, after I do all my research, I tend to go with my gut feeling. I also own a Real Estate Technology Certification company (http://www.webographer.com) that specializes in teaching agents how to become more profitable by using the online tools available to them (REW). So needless to say, I felt qualified to purchase a home and gauge a real estate agent. I found a few homes using his search engine, and I emailed him to look at them in person. To my surprize, he responded immediately. I enjoyed going to look at homes so much with Kasey both because of his friendly, honest, and easy going attitude, but also because of his knowledge of what to look for, and what things to avoid. This was especially helpful because I am a first time home buyer, and there are a lot of unknowns when taking an FHA loan that you need to be wary about. The kicker was his effort in finding, and securing our perfect home. We visited what was accidentally listed online as an open house. Kasey was able to work it out with the listing agent for us to stop by and speak with the sellers directly to see if they would let us see the home. We went to the home, Kasey talked us into it, and we spent almost two hours looking at the home and speaking with the sellers. This was the perfect home for us, so we immediately went back to his office, wrote up an offer, and submitted it with a unique cover letter (per Kasey's suggestion) the same day. Kasey spent quite some time on the phone with the listing agent that night, again, talking us into the home. The very next day, the seller accepted our offer and cancelled the REAL open house! What can I say? The whole experience, from offer to close was 30 days. There were no hiccups or surprises throughout the process. Kasey was able to obtain some credit on the closing costs for us based on the inspection reports which was awesome, and best of all, he passed on some savings from the lender he got back to us while handling the ridiculous amounts of paperwork needed for an FHA loan with ease. Just an amazing experience from start to finish. He makes excellent use of email, fax, PDF email attachments, and has an excellent, clean website. We began our search in the beginning of June 2018 & finally found "the one" at the end of October. We weren't super picky but had a few must haves. So we had to have a bunch of showings. I always felt bad like I was dragging him across the whole county but he was super sweet & understanding that it's not the right one until WE were happy. He was never pushy & never tried to talk us into anything. We lost a couple bids but still kept on keeping on. When we found our house, Tim was on it! I found Kasey on Yelp at the beginning of my home search. I was a first time home buyer so there was a bit of education that needed to happen and Kasey was great. He really knows the ins and outs of real estate and the whole process. He was always available to show us houses at times convenient for us and always showed up at appointments with a positive cheerful demeanor. He is good and pointing out things about a house that we would have never thought about. He gives real estate agents a good name! We backed out of an offer at one point after we decided we made a mistake on the house which was embarrassing for us but didn't seem to bother Kasey at all. He told me he does not work with mobile homes unless the land is owned. He referred me to another agent, whom I shall call now. Within 10 minutes of leaving a voicemail, Kasey returned my call. I also appreciate his candor. On the other hand, perhaps sales of mobile homes in parks don't generate much in commission, while 'costing' the same amount of time.
