They destroy property that they should never be on or touching. I have contacted them 3 times about this issue, but once again my property is damaged by their workers. They do not care. Do not contract this company for snow removal for condo or apartment buildings! After they "complete" the snow removal, there is ice and snow that still needs to be removed by the building tenants. They only come when the snow accumulation is more than 2-3 inches. When it is over 2-3, they come once in the beginning of the snow storm and don't come back which means building tenants have to do their job for them. Or they don't do anything until after it has completely stopped snowing which means building tenants are clearing the snow so they can move their cars and not get stuck. Any way you look at it, the building tenants do more snow removal than Cosme does. So don't pay Cosme for work that is already being completed for them! read more

The best money I have spent in a long time! My front lawn has never looked better since hiring Cosme Landscape. It's wonderful to come home from work to a freshly cut lawn every Thursday. We've struggled with weeds and their fertilizer system has taken care of those, too. Let me first forewarn potential customers: do NOT use this company. They do quick and shoddy work and are rude to customers. Case in point, they are contracted to come out to my condo building for basic grass cutting and bush trimming. Except they are careless and destroy property. I had a limited edition flag on my balcony that was cut by their trimmers once before but I was able to fix it. This time they came by and managed to cut it in half at the wooden base with their cutter. Nice. I was home and I saw it so I went out to talk with them and fill out a property incident report and to take a picture of the damage, thinking they'd be apologetic. Wrong. They basically said "it's not their problem" and I need to "call a manager because they're too busy to deal with it." Too busy? Don't care? YOU are the one that destroyed my property. They became threatening so I had to have my husband come out to try and rectify the matter at which point they totally shut down. Then I proceeded to call Cosme thinking they'd make it right but they were indifferent and acted like it happens all the time...which means they must have a lot of complaints. They make it seem like it's not worthy of their time because they don't personally value it as a quality item. I had to argue my position and requested they cut a check for the cost of a similar priced flag as I know they're insured this shouldn't be a big deal. Apparently all they said they would do is glue it...really? That's going to fix a flag, I think not. They pretend that this is some shakedown...for what the depreciated value of my flag so I can get another one? That's laughable. This level of disrespect is all that I can take and while I am glad we will be going with a better company I am still legally trying to get the replacement value for my flag that was carelessly damaged by their apathetic workers. It's sad that it had to come to this, but you have to stand up for yourself and at the end of the day you can't allow a company to cause harm (whether intentional or not) and not make it right monetarily. They tend to forget that you are a person and a person that's paying them for services, therefore you deserve some respect and consideration. And if damages are incurred then that person has a legal right to be made whole again under the law. If you think this problem is limited to me, think again as there are a myriad of negative reviews for bad customer service and other problems with the work they do. I've been with Cosme 14 years in counting. They have great service as well as customer service. Every time I call or email, they respond very timely. Their prices are competitive and the work is very professional. They provide any landscaping service you can think of. I've had some damage done which I'm sure all landscaping companies will have but Cosme comes out and makes repairs with no questions. I've only had a couple of incidents in my 14 years. I will recommend Cosme to other people and have already recommended Cosme to other people over the years. read more

I'm a new customer this year. We contracted in early March for lawn fertilizing (5 treatments) and weed spraying as needed. First treatment in April. We contacted in mid May to discuss someone to come out and see that weeds were out of control on parkway. Were told someone would contact us. After 4 call backs, no one has called and second application due (April/May) still hasn't been done as of June 1st. Very disappointed with this company as a customer who prefers giving business to our local companies. Cancelled service today. Wouldn't recommend. read more

They have taken care of lawn/snow removal at my condo, for years now. The employees have all been nice and say hi when I leave in the morning. I have constant communication with the girls who answer the phones (since I am on my association board). Don't waste your time or money with this company. They came out in the spring and sprayed the yard with weed killer. They may have just sprayed it with water, because it didn't have any impact on the weeds. I called back 10 times to have my yard resprayed. They would not return phone calls, or when they did I was repeatedly told I was put on the "list". They seemed incredibly disorganized. After the tenth time of calling and complaining, they had informed me that they were out twice to respray my lawn. There was no flag in my yard or any notice that the respray had happened. I have a dog, and it's helpful to know when I should keep him off my yard. I received a bill in the mail that they came out at the beginning of July for de-grubbing and fertilizer treatment. I called to complain that again, there was no flag or notice in my mailbox (which is their policy) that the treatment occurred. Additionally, I did not see any pellets on the ground, which are always present after a treatment. Since there is no evidence they actually came out and performed the treatment they are charging me for, I asked for it to be done again or not be charged. The receptionist, Tracy, told me that she or the owner, Dan, would call me the following day. Once again, no return phone call. I called later in the week and Tracy laughed that she was busy, and couldn't return all the phone calls. Dan called me back and informed me that I could pay the bill, or they would close my account. He had no interest in listening to how his staff don't return calls or follow simple protocols. I was more than happy to close my account with them and go with a company that actually provides services for which they charge. read more

Wow just got home and found them in my yard, cutting summer blooming bushes that hadn't bloomed yet and lilacs with a hedge trimmer... cutting off all blooms for next spring. Really? Said they were two months behind for Spring bush trimming. Hey it's July, it's too late dudes. Other things like ornamental flowering bushes meant as a focal point, now reduced to a hedge like you would find in front of an office building. Fabulous graceful yews that hid a hideous chain link fence now look like three barrels. Service berry bushes loaded with berries I was going to pick if it ever stopped raining, gone, now a hedge.
