Dr. Landaw was my pediatrician as well as my brothers when we were growing up. I just had a micro preemie baby and immediately called him. He doesn't take insurance (kind of a bummer), but will definitely be worth every out-of-pocket penny that you spend. He is kind and caring and will take the time out of his busy day to speak to you. If you have an emergency, he will get back to you no matter day or night. He even does hospital calls if the baby is in the NICU (as mine is currently). I'm surprised that I am the first person to review him on yelp, seeing as though he's been in the business for quite some time. He has a level of compassion that is matched by nobody else. I wish he was an adult GP and I would look no further. Your child's health is more important than anything in this world. Go to the best and you won't regret it.

There are too many doctors who have lost their humanity and compassion for their patients. Dr. Hadikin is not one of those doctors. I also appreciate the fact that he offers email. I prefer to email certain things rather than call the office and just pray the message is presented to the doctor in the same way I presented it to the staff member who answered the phone. I came to Dr. Hadikin over a year ago not sure how to describe how I felt. There wasn't a clear description I could give for everything that was going on with me. Dr. Hadikin took the time to listen and offer suggestions and help. I can even begin to describe how good it feels to be heard by a doctor who cares and takes the time to listen. I do have a tendency to be chatty and he still listens. I am not always concise in describing my issues, especially when I'm tired, so I appreciate the time Dr. Hadikin gives me to describe how I feel. He is very knowledgeable and always up on the latest treatments and diagnoses. His appointments never feel rushed as he ensures that we've covered everything that concerns me at that moment. He is prompt about returning phone calls and emails, which means a great deal to me. He is 100% non-judgmental and completely LGBT-friendly. Yes, Pacific Oaks is an extremely busy office, but once I'm in the exam room with Dr. Hadikin or one of his nurses, I feel like I'm getting the care and attention of a small, single-physician office. I understand that a delayed vaccination schedule isn't everyone's preferred method, but there are better ways to communicate this, unlike Dr. Lange who stated we were irresponsible and other personal attacks. I was a patient of Dr. Margolis for several years until l moved out of the area in 2013. On April…read more15, 2011 during my routine yearly physical examination, (I had no symptoms and thought I was perfectly healthy), Dr. Margolis discovered an enlarged lymph node very deep in my left armpit. He recommended I be evaluated by a surgeon. Because, I too am a physician I was able to see a surgeon the same day who discovered multiple smaller enlarged lymph nodes. It turns out I had a Grade 4 Lymphoma and was referred to an oncologist at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. I had chemotherapy for several months and in November 2011 I had a stem cell transplant at UCLA (without the stem cell transplant I was told I would only live 1-2 years). It is now 2018 and my lymphoma remains in remission and I have not needed any further treatment since the stem cell transplant. Since moving out of the area I have seen several internists. None have done the type of extensive physical examination as Dr. Margolis and I am sure they would not have discovered the lymph node that he found. Bottom Line: If it wasn't for Dr. Margolis I would not be alive today!

The office had three full work days last week to do so. The office has been unreachable by phone or in person since Friday 11/8/19. Now I am forced to re-arrange my work and transportation schedule due to this office's lack of care, respect and concern for an elderly patient (me). Additionally, my health insurance will not cover a second physical and EKG for the same procedure and I have pre-paid 5500 in advance of the surgery and purchased 3 prescriptions. You bet I am angry, frustrated, stressed and unhappy.
