Eric is knowledgeable, focused, thorough, and comes with nearly 20 years of experience which left us reassured during the entire process. Throughout the inspection Eric was available and willing to explain concerns to us in detail and in terms that were simple and easy to follow. He was careful to speak on those things for which were in his scope of practice and directed us to other experts and resources when necessary (though to be fair he seemed to know a lot about a lot). What we appreciated most about his approach was his ability to identify issues in the house without being alarmist. He does a fantastic job of prioritizing concerns especially for folks like us--first time home buyers---while also differentiating the safety risks from general concerns that are important but less critical. This helped us to frame our next steps and be organized about maintaining our home. We found him to be friendly and personable with a sense of humor, which is actually kind of important because a home inspection can be tense stressful and overwhelming for many.
