Our 120 year old home was in dire need of exterior painting. We were referred to Painting By Marge,…read moreand from the start, we were impressed with Marge's professionalism and attention to detail. She came to evaluate the project personally, and took time to explain to us in considerable detail what the job would entail. The next day she emailed her proposal via a system on which we could make any adjustments, and authorize the job electronically. This was a welcome change from other service companies who have left us waiting for proposals, often indefinitely. Her crew was prompt, friendly, and showed great care in keeping our property neat and clean. Their prep work was extensive and meticulous - often manually scraping wood siding and eaves which are at least 25 feet high. Marge came to check on the progress throughout the project, and when we asked for a bit of additional work to be done, she worked it in seamlessly. This job had to be a challenge, to say the least. At our home's age, it is rare to find any straight, level or smooth surfaces. And yet the finished result is beautiful! The wood siding, eaves, and original windows all look brand new! We have since had Marge's crew back to do interior work as well, and the results are just as remarkable.

Absolutely horrendous!!! Gross incompetence on every level. They were supposed to wash the house…read moreand remove the mold before painting, but there process removed nothing and they painted over the mold. They didn't cover some of the windows before painting and got the over-spray on the windows, on lighting fixtures, on plants, and trim work. When they went to get extra paint they got the wrong color and were arguing with me that it wasn't wrong until I had to physically show them on a scrap piece of wood. They damaged my window screens with razor blades when removing the plastic covering when they did cover the windows. They used a power washer to rinse of my shrubs and ended up remove the leaves. They wouldn't perform work that was in the contract. They damage my stone walls when they walked on them after being told at the beginning of everyday to stay off the walls. I had to provide paint rollers because the crew didn't show up with them. You will be sorry if you hire these clowns.
