Love coming to the Cosmoprof . By my job and they usually have good clearance section

I've been shopping at Cosmo Prof's all over SoCal for years . However this location has rubbed me the wrong way multiple times. EVERYTIME I shop here I'm followed and watched as if I am stealing. I've watched other customers shop around at the same time as me not being followed or stopped and asked if they need help . I usually come here before or after the gym because the gym is two doors down , perhaps because I'm in gym clothes , or perhaps because I'm heavily tattooed I'm being discriminated against. Today I was asked "what's the name on the account? " which I thought was unusual, every cosmoprof I've gone to once you give your number they ask "for so and so? " maybe the girl was new , but it felt like they couldn't believe that I had a account there . My biggest advice to this store is to not judge people by their outer appearance, and be a little more welcoming and less judgmental. This is my fourth time experiencing this :( I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I really think that this store could improve. read more

The parking is plentiful. The product have wide selection of professional from Hair Color to nails. They had a great deal on holiday. The ambience is neat. The service is very nice, friendly and helpful. read more

3:30 PM and doors closed because system was down. I get it but I could have paid cash told the worker here and even that wasn't allowed? Other stores Yorba Linda for example or Orange would do it, they have done it. No coming back here EVER. They are closed for 15 minutes and they closed at 4? OMG WHAT A JOKE!! read more

I've been to many CosmoProf but Anna and her team are always super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Other local CosmoProfs Ive been to, i hate to say it, are not like this and doesn't seem to know their own policy's, not as friendly, and are inconsistent but this location is different and so want to make it known. read more

Horrible customer service. I entered the store with 10 minutes left until closing just trying to do a quick return when Ron (STORE MANAGER with horrendous frosted tips) rudely told me he wouldn't help me since he had people in line and by the time it would get to me it would be past closing-when I was in the store already... I'm guessing this store kicks out all their customers right as it hits 4 PM, rejecting all purchases. I work in retail and we don't rush customers to leave our store when they're still in it after we close. It's called being courteous to customers which I'm guessing this store knows nothing about. I never post reviews, but went in on january 7 around 2-3pm and the lady there was so nice I had to leave a positive review about her.

Came in today to restock and check out the newness. This isn't my usual Cosmoprof but it was on my way to another destination. I was greeted by the associate up front and asked if I needed assistance from a lovely woman with glasses. When I was looking thru the isles an associate looks like they were doing a retail markout of products. Being a former store manager at Sephora, it was always my policy just to stand up and slide over so the customer could walk by to shop. I stood there for a minute and she was as squatting at a display. After a moment she didn't notice I was trying to pass, I politely said excuse me. She didn't move, then when I wanted to walk pass it felt that I was a nuisance. When I went to check out the individual who rang me up was lovely, however the associate who was boxing up the markouts looked like she would rather I get out of the store. Sadly this once associate made me feel unwelcome, she was wearing light colored denim from head to toe and was working at 2:15-2:24pm when I left. This beauty supply store is for professionals only. You need to have a cosmetology license to get a membership to buy things here. Lucky for me, my friend is a nails technician and she takes me when I ask. OPI polish for 5.50 a bottle! That's pretty much half of the price of what they run for. They have popular nails name brand that you will find in the salon. Too bad they don't have Deborah Lippmann those polish run about 20 bucks. Yes its sad. I have a collection of nail polish and I can only paint my finger nails when I'm not working, But my toes appreciate the festivities. I also buy my shampoo here. My favorite is TIGI S factor Diamond Dreams. It contains diamond dust, cashmere and crushed pearls. I am a sucker for packaging. read more

Waited a long time in line. One staff member looked stressed out and extremely overwhelmed. Treated with disrespect. I didn't do anything disrespectful. I understand the store closes soon, but why are you rushing us out the door to let another a customer in? Extend the store hours but don't mistreat your customers. Also if you're having a bad day and can't handle your job maybe you should find one that suits you better. Don't ruin a customers experience because you can't do your job. read more

The staff are very helpful and professional. I get consistent service and friendliness every time I shop. I recall the first time I started going here Lauren, the manager, was extremely helpful in helping me apply for my card. Since then she's always given me that same treatment and has even helped me with a few "boo-boo's" I've made myself. It's great that she small talks with everyone as well. I even brought my grandma along today and Lauren asked "Is this your mom?" (With a smile). And I said, "Oh haha, she's my grandma." After leaving my grandma said, "Lauren made my day!" Haha. That's just the type of personal treatment you get with coming here :] Lauren may have a strong persona about her but I feel that it's because she knows what she's doing and confident. She also calls her regulars, "My babies." If I recall correctly, which I think is super cute lol. read more

I came into the store right after working out to grab some products for a client I'm doing the next day and Ron looks at me and says out loud "do you have a store card?!" Me looking shocked since I've been in the store many times and even had Ron ring me up before and I said yes. I love Cosmo, as I am a licensed Esthetician, and can typically find good products for personal use. I usually get my shampoos from here as well as my facial sunscreen! Yes sunscreen is important and I will always com in for it here! The staff here is also super nice and helpful. Not once have I had a bad experience. Location is a bit far for me, but I keep coming here because of the unforgettable customer service! They give great suggestions and are pretty well informed of most products! read more

Don't park in front of this shop no matter what, whether youre shopping there or to apply for a gym membership, the employee inside with the short haircut will come out and threaten to ticket you. She'll take a picture of your car and say 'don't park there!!' She did it to the lady who was about to leave after being there for 15 min and I had just gotten there and planned to stay for less than 30 min to get a quick gym errand done. There is no sign in that parking spot that says it belongs to a particular business. Nobody would park there if it had a sign for a particular business. If it says 30 min parking then you should be able to park there for whatever business in the plaza as long as its under 30 min. The employee in this store came out with her ipad and started taking pictures of our license plate which is fine. It's okay to try to prove that a car is there for longer than 30 min if people are trying to cheat the system. But she came out and yelled 'Don't park there!! I'm going to ticket you!' I said, 'I'll be here less than 30 min' and she said 'Just try, you wanna try it??? Try me.' The aggressiveness was unnecessary for those who are actually there for the amount of time stated. I hope this lady stops what she's doing or at least petition to have a COSMO PROF customers only sign placed there and then her actions will then be credible. read more

I love this location!! It's always organized and items pushed up to the front. On this particular day, I came in for a certain product but wanted to try something new for a change of pace. Miss. Lauren was OH-SO-NICE and helped me. She was SO knowledgeable and told me if you liked this, YOU WOULD LOVE this- kind girl! I felt like she was so passionate, I thought I would ask more questions. She felt my hair and recommended one other products- didn't felt like she was up selling at all- she just wanted to help a girl out! I totally appreciate her honestly and knowledgeability! I will never visit this Cosmo prof again. I have been to so many Cosmo Prof's all across the country and I've experienced the worst customer service by a middle aged women with short black hair at this location. I went to check out and she asked for my Cosmo card. I didn't have my card but I have my account #. Some Cosmoprofs won't take my account number for audit reasons but every other cosmoprof ALWAYS takes my Salon's phone number for my business account. I let this associate know that I was running short on time and she showed zero concern. She made me put my info into her iPad and it wasn't accepting my zip code (to pull up the account number that I have) then she made me download the app on my phone, still wasn't working, after she then called customer care and was waiting for an answer for awhile. I was so frustrated! I have my ID & my business card with my salon's info attached. She made me wait to get the same exact account number I had given her and all she had to do is input my Salon's phone number into the computer and my account will pull right up. If a customer is telling you that he/ she is running short on time, next time have some consideration and expedite my check out!!!! After customer service verified only my name and address.. I handed her back the phone, the rep over the phone gave her the SAME account number that I was trying to give her. I DON'T UNDERSTAND! I own a salon and customer service is everything to me. AFTER... she tried to explain herself.. yet again, wasting my time. This lady really needs to get re-evaluated. I love to by the product for hair at the cosmo, but this location had the rude employers.They were very bad costumes service. They were really mean with my little 3 year old . She just the little girl if she touched or played their product . they should to let me know . I will never let my little girl to do that . I will to correct she right away. My favorite CosmoProf location of all time. I have been coming here since I was in cosmetology school and have stopped at other locations but none compare to this one. I bring my sons (6&7) in with me all the time and Lauren always offers them a note pad and a pen or some sort of fun gadgets and conversates with them while I grab what I need. I love Lauren and how genuine she is. I have never seen her having a bad day and I'm sure everybody has bad days but she does a great job of keeping good vibes around! read more

Idk if they changed their rules or what but I've bought eyelashes here tons of times and all of a sudden I was told I have to have some special card by the manager stuck in 1990 with his frosted tips was incredibly RUDE and wouldn't let me get two words out of my mouth before he told me to go to Sally's. my first time here : Employees so rude, and I will never come back. Instead of explain nicely to me about their policy on how to apply to become cosmoprof member , so i can purchase their product. They talked to me like i was doing something against the law and it is hard for me to buy any simple products in their shop. This is my first time that i come to shop hair colors at cosmoprof. To me, the old lady lady and man were make me feel uncomfortable and so rude. I want to buy a hair color and let my friend do it for me, so i go ask to pay, but they were refuse because I dont have member card. So, i asked them to applied to become a member, and showed them my ID card and a picture of my cosmetology license number with my name and expire date. They don't even take a look at it and said that i can't purchased these color tubes. So, i asked my friend to buy these color for me then i will pay back for her. We are both hair dresser. It doesn't matter that who purchase these products. They agree to sell these color tubes for us but both of them talk to us like we are doing something guity or against the law. The old lady and man stare at my friend and keep repeating the fined if the state board know that she purchase these color for me. They are so rude and these is the first time ever i see how hard to buy some hair color tubes at a shop. I am so disappointed that my friend refer me to go here. I normally shop at Sally and employees were very friendly and help me to get discounts every time i was there. Another issue, this is my first time come to shop at cosmoprof, i don't know that i have to bring my primary license to buy a hair color. Customer service is terrible, one of the women working there was so rude!, I asked her for assistance with my shampoo and she asked me back for my cosmetology license when she already had my Cosmo Prof I.D. Have nothing but great things to say about this store! They always have what I'm looking for and are willing to accept returns, even if mildly used. For the people complaining about the parking, they only have two spots specifically marked for the store. And the reason is because the lot gets so busy there is hardly ever a space near by to park for their customers. The two right in front of the store are clearly marked and are color coded for customers only!!! So don't blame them for your lack of observation. read more

I love this location! #1 must be licensed by the state or a student in the field to shop at this store! #2 No one other than the card holder is allowed in the store! This is a privilege for us since we have worked ha d to attain this standard! #3 your name must be the same in the card you use! Obviously this is identified protection for he card holder, even if it is your husband/wife/friend! The rules are the rules and those that have given bad reviews , well it's because your not following the rules!
