Came in for a male trim, ended up with butchered hair. Walking in, there wasn't really an atmosphere. Nothing makes you go "wow, this place stands out". Thankfully, it wasn't busy and my walk-in wasn't a long wait at all. The woman who cut my hair seemed to ignore everything I asked her to do. I have really bushy/fluffy hair, and I aimed to keep it that way. My hair was out of control and it just needed to be tamed. All I wanted was barely an inch off all around to to keep the style I had the same. Ignoring the way my hair was, she kept tucking it behind my ears as if trying to hide her mistakes. She kept making comments about how she likes straight and short hair, despite me consistently saying "I like my fluffy hair. It's my staple look." Instead of listening to me, she kept cutting and cutting and cutting. I'm now stuck with "wings" on the back of my head because she didn't cut my hair properly. I had to go home and do the one thing I NEVER wanted to have to do and put a razor to my hair to fix her mistakes. There was no white strip around the neck and no after-care. She slapped me with a towel and sent me on my way. I'm covered in hair and itchy all over. Another thing I noticed there.. there's no utensil cleaners!! Every salon should have a container of barbicide for their utensils. Instead, they use their bare fingers to wipe off their supplies. Extreme lack of hygiene. My suggestion: don't even look at this store's direction. Lady Jane's is the answer to your haircut needs. Never going here again. read more

I went in to get a basic layered haircut and when I got home to straighten my hair that was not the case. My hair was chopped, the bottom half is cut straight across as well as the middle half is cut straight across and is very uneven there is a 2 inch gap between the bottom and middle. I went back in today to get the problem corrected and was brought back to a chair by a different employee to fix my hair, the hair Tech today clearly seen the issue and was going to fix it. ((Cora))from last week stopped cutting her clients hair and came over and started yelling at me and said that she cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Cora stated they weren't going to fix my hair. If I didn't like my hairstylist Cora, here I would have left this morning. Waiting outside for them to open at 10:58 (they open at 11) and the other hairstylist walks out from the back sits down behind the desk and picks up the phone leaving my sister and I outside to wait for the 2 minutes until 11:00 to open the door. She never did get up to open the door. Cora came out from the back to open the door. Whoever you are take a class in customer service because you are rude and have no clue how to greet people. Worst experience. Waited 30 minutes just to to be checked in. There were only two ladies working and one just disappeared with about five customers waiting. Once the poor girl that was left alone was finally able to check me in, she told me that they would only be able to do my highlights and cut if the other lady came back. She had no idea where she was. I told her to forget it and rode over to great clips for a cut. When I arrived one of the gentlemen that had also been waiting pulled up too. He told me that I did better than him by leaving. He had been waiting for over an hour. We were both in chairs within 10 mins of arriving at great clips. They had three stylist working and all were present. I will not be returning. read more

Well...wish I could say I was happy with my cut. Decided to get my hair shampooed, cut and styled spur of the moment. Did not want much done...2 inches of the ends and some layering. The stylist asked about the front of my hair, said just trim the ends. Between conversation and turning me away from the mirror I just let her take on the task. After blowing drying she suggested some curls and I said sure. It was cute when she was done. However, after washing my hair the next day and the curls gone I discovered she had somehow cut the front uneven and notable shorter on one side. Don't know how to fix it unless I go a lot shorter than I want to. Took me a while to get it all one length and longer. Yeah...disappointed and won't be going back. read more
