BEWEAR!!! I came here for the first time because I had moved and wanted to find a nail place closer to my new home. I had gone to the same salon consistently for years prior and never gotten an infection. I got one pedicure here. The woman injured my toe and I got an infection. I asked her to stop during the pedicure cause she was hurting me with tool. The next day I woke up the next day with it pink and swollen. I tried to soak it in peroxide and get it better via home care but ended up having to go to the doctor to get on an oral and cream anabiotic for an staph infection. The owner refunded the pedicure, but did not help me with the medical bills related to this so it was an awful experience and I ended up spending money. Its been a little over a week and I am hoping it completely clears up as I am not out of the woods yet. read more

I went there today for the first time. I had an 11:30 appointment for a pedicure. When I walked in, the nail tables were all full and I was asked to pick a color and have a seat. No big deal as I was not in a hurry. A few minutes later I was led back to a separate room that had 4-5 empty pedicure chairs and told which one to go to. I was left there alone, with my feet in cold water, for about 20 minutes until someone came back to me. Again, I understood since they were busy. When the girl finally joined me, she was an extremely pleasant and well spoken. I wanted a paraffin pedi, but they were out of paraffin so I settled on a Detox. It was a good pedicure. The 2 stars are for the girl and the pedicure. It was what happened after, that led me to leave this review. There was a gray haired man who checked me out. He was rude, and that's putting it mildly. He told me my total, I handed him my debit card, he ran it and gave it back to me. Then he proceeds to SLAM the receipt onto the counter and push it towards me while giving me a dirty look. I was looking for a pen to sign it, but then I realized it was just a receipt, nothing to sign, no way to leave a tip. Luckily I had cash, and walked back to give the girl a tip. On my way back to the front and out the door, I heard another customer tell the man her Venmo wasn't working and asked if they took CashApp. Now, I did not see anything that said they preferred to be paid this way. If I had, I would have! No reason for the cranky old man to be nasty about it. I will not be going back there if he is there. read more

Pre written statement of my experience at #1 nail I've been a customer/client for almost two years. I have always scheduled my appointments a month in advance. loved the staff and especially my nail tech. I wax recently contacted by my nail tech to tell me "someone", moved me from my original appointment set a month prior and she needed to reschedule me. I scheduled the day before and the time scheduled cut into a virtual on going I have had since Covid. I schedule in advance for a reason how to plan my time and things that needed to get done. I get there and it's unusually crowded. My nail tech comes over and says she can't get to me do another 40 minutes! I was already feeling some type of way due to having to reschedule, but now you want to mess with more of my time. The owner asks "she doesn't want to wait "? I told the tech she should had called and the owner lied and says they tried to call told the tech she should had called and the owner lied and says they tried to call me! Ironically I had no missed calls from them or my tech. I left and will notice spend money at an establishment that does not value me or my time. Being a Disabled Veteran this a reminder of how we are over looked. read more

Despite scheduling an appointment in advance, all of the technicians were double booked. Upon making appointment, I clearly specified I was looking for an SNS Dip manicure. Upon arriving, I was told they would take me for my pedicure in a moment. (???? Pedicure) I was asked to soak my hands, ( not just nail tips) in a sandwich baggie filled with nail polish remover and a wipe. For 35 minutes, I sat there scrubbing my nails clean of polish myself and wondering if I should tip myself as they repeatedly came back to check and told me to "rub more". I finally got the Dip manicure. The Nail Tech was skilled and their was a plethora of colors. At the conclusion, a small amount of oil was placed on each nail and I was told I was done. I left feeling as if I had done some of the work myself and my hands were uncomfortable and smelled of nail polish remover. This was my second trip and a repeat of the first. I do not recommend this Nail Salon. read more

I am fairly picky with nail salons. I have been to a LOT in the area. This one truly deserves five stars. David was absolutely great at educating different nail processes and such. He examples the importance of taking time on each customer and not rushing. The customer service was outstanding and I will definitely come back and recommend this salon to others! read more

I've never given a bad review in my life before this !! Don't go here. I had an apt. for a particular person. I arrived, said I'd wait for her. They sent another lady over and she did my pedi. Thought she'd trade off- no. This woman berated me. Have you seen a doctor about your toes ? You need to see a doctor. Told me 3x you need to soak your feet in vinegar. Do you want leg massage - I said, it comes with it. She was rough to the touch too. She finished and I pointed to a few places where she skipped the polish. She said, "What do you want me to do ? You have no nails !" I asked the girl I was suppose to have to plse take a look and I pointed out 6 spots, no polish and polish on my skin under my nails ? I was so nice bout it. She took the polish off, re-did, cut my toes. I looked and saw blood. She didnt say sorry nor wipe it off. The blood is still on top of y polish !! The charged me an extra $20 !!! What ??? My first few SNS applications were very good. I definitely recommend the product as they by far feel the most natural and have lasted the longest for me. However, I'm not a big fan of this salon. I've given it several chances and it just seems like each time it goes even more south. They definitely don't have enough people working there and the people they do have are either busy taking to friends who stop in the salon (or on their personal phone) or taking time away from the customers to answer phones and check in people. They really need a receptionist, especially on the weekends because it is highly annoying to have my service stopped every five minutes for them to answer the phone. The techs are a mess and have no idea what is going on. They often yell back and forth at each other in front of customers or complain about other customers. They're also pretty rude when it comes to making appointments and there is never day you can just walk in, even the middle of the day Wednesday. This past time the guy got really snippy with me for walking in. In addition, the guy who did my nails this time was a lot less careful, clipped my nail with the grinder, and did a step no one had done before. It was a SNS dip but not into my color, but more like a base layer I guess? I haven't had it done before and I've noticed that after only four days, three of my nails have chipped on the sides and another one is coming up. I've had them done for about 3 months now and never had an issue. Everyone else I know that has SNS has never experienced this so it leads me to believe it was poor application. I probably won't be going back here and will instead search for a place that isn't super close to home just so I don't have to deal with their unprofessionalism and rudeness towards customers. read more

I've been to too many places that are only basic, play it way too safe and you can't have fun with. If it's simple then why not do your own nails!? SNS takes a while though, be prepared to stay for a bit over a hour. I came here on a Friday afternoon and was attended to quickly as a walk-in, and service was friendly. They have various levels of pedicure, ranging from basic to spa levels. I only had time for a basic, but am curious to try the paraffin wraps. My only real issue was that a lot of the polishes were cheaper brands, and the ESI/OPI polishes and more "fun" polishes (glitters, confettis) had a tiny bit left in the bottle. I took a chance and used a brand I never heard of, and if chipped the same day. This makes it seem like a lower-end place, when in fact it's very spa-like, comfortable, clean... if they'd just buy more polishes I think they'd be in better shape. read more

Gel manicure was super rushed and and painful, several of my nails bled due to dry cuticle cutting. Polish was all over my nail beds and fingers. Not sure if it was just a busy day but would not recommend if you're not already a regular. They also don't do credit card tips, only cash or venmo. read more

I decided to try this place out today. Huge mistake! ! Signs all over asking for cash only. Then I was placed in the chair at the pedicure station. I stopped in to get my gel polish changed just before the snow day. They had just opened up. I started on one table and was moved over to another, which is pretty common in nail salons. The nail techs were all very nice and prompt with service, however, I now have a very bad nail fungus on my entire left hand! All of my nails developed fungus after my visit here! I've never had this problem before at a nail salon. I wash my hands very frequently every day, so this place is the only out-of-the-ordinary action before this awful fungus started! I have been going to this salon since moving to the area in '09. Walkin's are welcome. I have never made an appointment and most times I get taken in less than 10 minutes. The are also up on the current trends, and they also attend Cosmetic shows and have attended training courses. I was in there today after not having been for a few months and they have something called gel color. I have never heard of it before. I agreed to try it and I just love the outcome. This is the only place I get my nails done. They are the only ones around that do SNS. which I prefer. It is odorless and healthier for your nails and dries immediately. Its a little bit more expensive, but lasts a couple more weeks. Everyone is very sweet there. read more
