Made an appointment online for wash and cut. Get there, lady tells me no time for wash just cut. I was like fine, just cut then. I proceed to tell her what I want and she interrupts me and assumes what I want and doesn't let me finish. Cuts my hair in a rush and sends me on my way. Three stars is me being generous because at least she didn't totally mess up my hair. Needless to say, never going back there again. read more

Breanna is the best! She's going places, so book her when you can. The last time I cut my hair or even trimmed it was well over a year ago. Also, I've been dying my hair myself since forever, and I swim so my hair was soo damaged. She gave me good advice and she made my hair look brand new without taking off a lot of my length. She truly pays attention to detail. Honestly such a sweet, all around blessing to be around too. I was shocked to find out my haircut was really cheap too! Side note: this is a some people that didn't qualify for unemployment that lost their jobs over the "safer at home order". For over two months they lost their income. If you can, absolutely tip a little more if they "wow" you Just a little, because a little kindness goes a long way. Especially in these times. I do not recommend going here. I got a haircut from David. He was rude to me and was also really rude and condescending to another employee there at the time. I asked for a fade and didn't get one. You can clearly see the uneven line around my head where he stopped using the clippers and started using scissors. read more

Lexie, the store manager corrected my hair color/highlights and did an outstanding jobs. I stopped in just to have the back of my hair trimmed on a whim and she did it. I was talking with her about "lines' in my hair near my ears and she talked me through why that happens and just based on how she talked me through that and how to fix it without every criticizing anyone etc., I decided to give her a try and could not be happier. read more

I've come to this location off and on for the eight years I lived in Oak Creek. My hair was very long, so I wanted a short angled cut like I've had previously. I showed the girl the picture and that was it. Almost 2hrs later, my hair was cut with barely any angle to it. She had to have the more experienced stylist come over to help her finish. The more experienced stylist went on about how angled cuts are not easy, etc... Whatever. I had the cut in the picture I showed her done by someone at Great Clips (who is no longer there) and it took her maybe a half an hour. This was not a complicated cut by any means. She then took off the gown, but had to cut a little bit more and needless to say, hair got all over my coat. Almost 2hrs later (wayyy too long for a simple cut), a choppy bob (nothing like the picture), hair on my coat, and I was still charged full price...Not good customer service. I get that she graduated earlier from school and it takes experience, but she needed more schooling on a mannequin head or Cost Cutters should not have hired her. The other stylist knew she didn't have experience. My hair is way too short to even attempt any angle, it is what it is until it grows out again. read more

Ive been to this location a few times now to get my eyebrows waxed. I was pleased with the staff the first few times I went. However, my last experience was horrendous. I called to make an appointment ahead of time for an eyebrow wax, they told me to show up in a half hour. So I did, and ended up waiting over 30 minutes. After I checked in and waited there, no one updated me on time or said sorry for the wait. I should have walked out then. However I didn't and then was waited on by a tall dark hair lady (I'm putting a description in here so people know NOT to go to her). She started to wax my eyebrows and things were all good. She then stopped talking to me halfway through and went silent. I knew something was wrong but she continued to wax and stare at my eyebrows. Eventually she called for help and I had it. I asked to see the mistake myself and I was horrified. She took off a huge chunk out of my eyebrow and didn't even have the balls to tell me. I went into a shock and basically told her to leave me alone at that point and walked out. (She started bringing up that she wanted to show me how to draw in my eyebrow--mind you I have thick eyebrows except when they get waxed off by a careless hairdresser). That kind of service does not deserve a tip and I was trying to hold my tongue from giving this girl a piece of my mind. My point is, after this story, I will not go back there even with my few good experiences. I hope that hairdresser considers a new career with her lack of skill and lack of customer service. It's taking everything in me right now to not walk in there and ask for reimbursement for the eyebrow filler I'm going to have to invest in. read more

The staff was friendly, but the woman who cut my hair did not know what she was doing. I made an appointment somewhere else that was recommended to me to fix my cut. I later found out the woman cutting my hair was an apprentice - Shouldn't she be watched to make sure she's doing it correct? read more

Absolutely not. The women cut it way too short and chopped at my hair with a straight razor when I asked for framing. It is not even at all and flares out. Never going back there ever. Save your hair. read more

Terrible customer service. I was told that waiting time will be 20 min, but it turned in 1 hour and 10 min and at the end I did not got my hair cut. They had two clients who called in and scheduled appointments, but they were not entered into computer. So I was told to wait longer. If for one worker it takes 40 min. to do the men hair cut, do not know how longer it could be. Just wasted my time there. Never go for cheep. read more

This is a very friendly and professional place to get your hair cut. My whole family, me, my husband, daughter and son, have been getting haircuts at the Cost Cutters for about 10 years now and have always been very satisfied. I just got a perm on Tuesday and it is fabulous and the price was very reasonable. I have also gotten my hair foil colored their and it also was great. Would recommend this establishment to anyone. read more
