My daughter went to Rylie for hair extension installation expecting professional work and left with severely damaged hair that she is now struggling to repair. From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. A hair extension install should never leave someone afraid to touch or brush their own hair. Final Warning Do not go to Rylie for extensions Do not trust her with your natural hair Do not ignore the red flags If you care at all about the health of your hair, take your money elsewhere. I did not feel this was fair since I already paid so much to not get what I asked for. Another stylist said in order to fix my hair I would need another full highlight. I disputed the charge because now I'm having to get another full highlight done. I texted her and offered her another chance to make this right and she told me to never contact her again. The whole thing was very unprofessional and now I'm out 575 dollars just to get what i normally have done for no more than 200.

I inquired about how long I could go in between touch ups, and she assured me that even if they had faded, she would continue to charge me the touch up fee. When I last had them touched up, approx. 2 years ago, Arri informed me that she would be leaving this salon to open her own salon, but would continue to offer microblading. However when I reached out to her recently, she shared that she no longer offers this service. She informed me that she would happily provide referrals, but I would have to pay full price again (usually around $500.) I am disappointed in her lack of professionalism both in her revoking the service that was guranteed to me, as well as her response that accused me of being ridiculous for expecting her to do anything. Also, she smelled like weed really strongly each time we met, so I'm not sure why I even trusted someone who was high to do my microblading. I hope she's more professional now that she's a business owner.

He denied that it happened when confronted and said he "has been a stylist for years" so it could not have happened, which is not an excuse. I could feel and hear my hair ripping from my scalp as he ran the iron through my hair. What I saw immediately after confirmed what I felt was happening. Even after explaining this, he offered no apology and he was nasty and rude about it. Never once did he offer to correct the problem. I have patches of hair missing in the areas where my hair was ripped out from my scalp due to his negligence and heavy-handedness. I had known him to be a professional designer before this, but it seems that he has lost his touch. I am VERY disappointed because I thought he was a better human. I would never trust him with a hot comb ever again!
