My daughter went to Rylie for hair extension installation expecting professional work and left with severely damaged hair that she is now struggling to repair. From the start, the process felt rushed and careless and Rylie had a nasty attitude. The extensions were installed with excessive tension, improper placement, and zero concern for the health of the natural hair. Within days, my daughter experienced intense scalp pain, breakage, and noticeable hair loss. Instead of enhancing her hair, this service destroyed it. She now has uneven patches, weakened strands, and damage that will take months--if not longer--to recover from. A hair extension install should never leave someone afraid to touch or brush their own hair. Final Warning Do not go to Rylie for extensions Do not trust her with your natural hair Do not ignore the red flags If you care at all about the health of your hair, take your money elsewhere. I asked for an icy blonde but not white. When I left, my hair was dirty blonde/brassy even though I paid 300 for a full highlight. I asked if she could fix and she wanted me to pay 100 more dollars to fix it and all she was going to do was add a couple more highlights and tone it again. I did not feel this was fair since I already paid so much to not get what I asked for. Another stylist said in order to fix my hair I would need another full highlight. I disputed the charge because now I'm having to get another full highlight done. I texted her and offered her another chance to make this right and she told me to never contact her again. The whole thing was very unprofessional and now I'm out 575 dollars just to get what i normally have done for no more than 200.

I inquired about how long I could go in between touch ups, and she assured me that even if they had faded, she would continue to charge me the touch up fee. When I last had them touched up, approx. 2 years ago, Arri informed me that she would be leaving this salon to open her own salon, but would continue to offer microblading. However when I reached out to her recently, she shared that she no longer offers this service. She informed me that she would happily provide referrals, but I would have to pay full price again (usually around $500.) I am disappointed in her lack of professionalism both in her revoking the service that was guranteed to me, as well as her response that accused me of being ridiculous for expecting her to do anything. Also, she smelled like weed really strongly each time we met, so I'm not sure why I even trusted someone who was high to do my microblading. I hope she's more professional now that she's a business owner.
