We were all pleased with our choices. We initially sat upstairs at the window seat but when we went downstairs to the toilet the children spotted a small play area, so we decided to move downstairs to have our cakes. The staff were great and came and helped us move everything downstairs. The kids played and we got to enjoy our tea, hot chocolate and cakes. I had chocolate cake and my friend had carrot cake. We shared them with the kids and still couldn't finish them. The chocolate cake was home made and moist I really enjoyed it. It is sparsely decorated but the theme seems to be related to bicycles. We stopped in for midday iced lattes and a snack. The lattes were good and I appreciate their to go cups and straws are all paper based. The granola bar we grabbed did not impress me at face value but wow was it delicious.
