Costco is a blessing to have in Cabo. We appreciate having access to quality produce as bulk item for residents as well as businesses here.

We should have started here from day one to pick up water bottles, beverages & snacks. They have everything the States have plus more. Parking lot is huge & this is one Costco with a water view front outdoor food courts. We tried their hotdogs - which is served with jalapeños (option) & mango smoothie is so refreshing on a Sunday afternoon. Wish our luggage was bigger to bring back some Local goodies- perhaps another time. Hope you get to explore Costco in Cabo. read more

Well this has to be the worst experience at costco I have ever seen. We drive over from San Jose to get some things for my condo. I was looking to spend a lot of money. Tv, refrigerator, mini spit, mattress, and a lot of groceries. Couple thousand dollars easily. Well we get there and there is a sign out front saying 1 member per household!!!! Thats it! What are you susposed to do? Leave the kids locked in the hot car! This is ridiculous to treat someone this way. The guard doing fabulous work turned us around. Never thought it'd be happier to see a Costco. Lots of familiar produce brands (Driscoll's raspberries, Halo tangerines, etc), not cheap since it's imported but good to have available. It's right on the main highway 1, and I would use google maps for accuracy. It is somewhat tricky to drive to, and we missed it at first because you need to exit to the service road well in advance. This location isn't as crowded as a typical US location. Has all the familiar jumbo-calorie food....pizza, frozen yogurt, sandwiches, etc. There are some ridiculous cheap things like a huge flan (maybe 14 inch diameter) for $5 vs $12 in US. But yeah, it's gonna lead to weight gain. Bread is surprisingly not cheap, probably since wheat is imported too. read more

Costco de Mexico - a rose by any other name smells as sweet... Snacks with local tastes (big bag of chips with Tajin!, spicy dried cranberries) and many of your Costco favorites from home. Best ocean view of any Costco - eat a soft serve and watch paragliders suspended in motion over the water across the bay. Prices are comparable to stateside Costcos or can be a bit more with the additional import costs (such as on organic frozen fruits for smoothies). Costco's produce, especially the leafy greens, are in good shape, and they also have a nice selection of sausages (including from Spain), big bags of local avocados, and for the summertime, lots of beach gear (snorkel sets, beach shorts, kayaks, vacation books...). read more

Wonderful place to pick up water, food, and snacks due to unexpected extended stay in Cabo. My parents and I were on a cruise when a family member was removed from ship and admitted to BlueNet Hospital in Cabo. Since we were on a cruise, we didn't have water, food, or snacks with us. BlueNet arranged for our driver to drop us off for 2 hours before bringing us back to CityExpress Suites, our hotel. We hoped to find items to microwave back in our temporary "home". Our room included a kitchenette and we hoped to find items that we could nuke (mini stove/no oven) during our stay. Costco's nuking selection wasn't as vast as in the US. No wonder the US is known as the "fast food nation" - not a complement. We found familiar brands of carnitas and frozen wings (though "boneless" - maybe bones illegal in Mexico? ) available home and drooled throughout the bakery. If our hotel had included an oven and if we needed food for more than the two of us, our food choices would have been much greater. When traveling, my mum and I love visiting local markets and bringing home items not found in the US and Mum has planned specific trips to bring back her beloved items: curry from Sydney, crumpets from London, butter cookies from Hong Kong. I've told her, using the internet easier, but she replies, not as much fun! After three days of only going from hotel to BlueNet Hospital (ICU) the Costco trip was very welcome respite. I found pushing and steering a cart with my elbows simultaneously using both calculator to convert pesos to USD and the Google Translate App a great stress reliever. Bought the goods for mimosas here while on vacation and also stopped by the food court to get the MANGO smoothies and Oh my goodness was the mango smoothie delicious. I would love if Costco carried the mango smoothies in Sacramento. Also the scenery and location at this location is prime real estate. read more

A Costco in Cabo? Holla'! The club is located in the "Tourist Corridor" which is a few miles outside Cabo San Lucas (not walking distance from the touristy area- You'll need a cab or a car to hit it up). They honored our US membership without an issue during our visit and we waltzed right in. The Costco here is just like the Costco in the states. They offer the same bulk supplies with an appropriate focus on beach themed gear -- sunscreen, bathing suites, snorkeling gear etc. This is the spot to hit if you forgot to pack anything for the beach. It's also the perfect place to stock up on goodies for your beach gathering. You can even grab a cooler for your fishing trip if you opt to fish. If you dig a littler deeper, you'll start to find products of the area - Masa flour, bags of dried peppers, crema fresca and all sorts of Mexican culinary delights. Additionally, this store also offers a Pharmacy and Optical Center like the ones back in the states. If your in an emergency, it's good to know Costco is here. This Costco must have the best view you'll ever get in a parking lot. You can literally eat at their food court (located outside) and enjoy a view of the infamous arches. Just grab a $1.50 USD Costco dog (it's a buck fifty here just like the states) and sit at a picnic table and enjoy the view. Pro Tip: Hit Costco up to exchange your USD to pesos. They will give you a better exchange rate here than downtown. read more

We love having a Costco near us but only use it for walk in shopping. Their on line shipping is horrible. Several times we have waited many weeks only to find out their shipping company "could not find our address". Meanwhile we order from Amazon Mexico and receive items in only two days and have never had an issue with the driver not finding our home. read more

This review is from the perspective of a Cabo tourist. So we didn't have a rental car and took a cab from our resort in the Marina area, approx $17 USD (vs Walmart $14). Inside, nothing particularly unique (except for a large bag of Tajin flavored potato chips). We're used to going to Costco in Hawaii where they sell more unique "local" items. The food court is consistent with the US, hotdogs and soda, $1.50, offers pizza. but the churro was awful. When you exit, there a number of "helpers" in white shirts that assist in loading up your car and bringing back your cart to the store (they work for tips). Since we didn't have a car, these helpers assisted us to flag down a cab from the main hwy. Problem was that it took 45min. However, the helper never gave up and finally got our taxi to go back to our hotel. We made sure to provide a generous tip to show our appreciation. Overall, unless I was planning a large party or family to feed, I wouldn't go back to this Costco the next time I visit Cabo. read more

What most Costco card-carrying Americans don't know is that the nicest Costco outside of Hawaii can be found in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! Breathtaking ocean views are to be had here while you and your group munch on pizza and cokes for a whopping $12. Yes, I said it, a large pepperoni pizza and 3 sodas were $12. Want a freshly made churro? That'll be $1. You will be required to show your Costco card to get the food throughout, so be aware they guard this cheap, delicious food with more security than TSA. read more

Costco is pretty good no matter where you are, but it's great in Cabo. Best place to buy meat and they have lots of outdoor stuff too for the beach or to stock you up for your vacation or extended stay. Great selection and prices on liquor wine and beer too. read more
