Looks like Arco spent quite some $$$ to make it look way nicer and brighter. They got new gas pumps and they even rebuilt the gas station convenient store. Everything so new. they even repaved the gas station. Note the pump is super powerful (flow). The gas goes into the car way faster than most gas station's pump. I had some spillage onto the floor while I was pumping gas. Oh well.... The guy inside was super friendly. I went in and told him I am prepaying $90 for gas and he said that was a lot of gas. We joked around. I told him I had a jerry can and right away he was like "You are Canadian". Guess lots of Canadians come here to fill up gas. Well the $90 includes filling for my vehicle gas tank which was almost empty. To fill up my car from one bar to full costed about $45 and so the other $45 was really for the jerry can. It is not really a lot of gas. I like this Arco. In terms of prices it is almost the same as the Arco that is 3 mins drive away. Well the night I filled up was the same price.

They had a massive rib-eye…read moreroast package with $75 off, and after my husband sliced it up at home, we ended up with 17 beautiful steaks each about 1.75" thick for roughly $16 per steak! Incredible value, especially with prices these days. The store was definitely busy the holidays are in full swing but the lines moved quickly and the staff kept everything flowing smoothly. Crowded? Yes. Stressful? Not at all. Great deals, great energy, and totally worth the visit today!

Fred Meyer Gas has pretty much been my go-to station since I moved to Bham almost 20 years ago…read more It's convenient to my house, the gas is always on the cheaper side, and if I rack up the Rewards points at Fred's I can get quite a bit off per gallon of gas. This particular location remodeled a few years ago and tripled in size, so there are no more long lines, the place is well lit, and it's still super conveniently located in the Fred's parking lot. There's also a TINY little store on-site where you can buy the essentials (like water, candy, chips, and - for the smokers - ciggies). Pro tip: do your Fred Meyer shopping BEFORE you get gas, so you can use your Rewards points.

No, this isn't on native land, and there actually isn't any gambling here... it's just when you drive up, park the car, open your door... you are suddenly welcomed by the sound of, chimes, dings, and sounds that are basically not gas station. Here lies the TV built into a gas station, and believe it or not, they are all chiming all at the same time, just like the sounds of a casino. Yes, it's providing entertainment, for an otherwise boring few minutes, as you gas up before Vancouver, or coming back; but seriously it's an experience. I'm sure they want to sell you something, as well as entertain you from going back into your car, during gassing, which none of us do, right? Thank You. So this is what makes it just a memorable experience for a gas station. I mean it's an ARCO, so you know what you are getting, and the mini-mart is what you think it is... but hey, they have me writing a review about a gas station, so how about that? In terms of prices and such, it's cheaper than the 76 across the street by 20-30 cents per gallon, and probably a few cents more expensive than the Costco/Fred Meyer about 1/4 mile away... but there are no lines, so you are in and out. It's right off the highway, and getting back on is easy-peasy. I haven't met a 5 star gas station, but hey, kudos for being just one click different.
