I pulled up to pump 9 and my friend and I went in to pay and ask where the restroom was. The employee told us that it was out of order. I protested, saying that I was buying gas. "Heard it before, bro. It's really out of order," he told me. I then told him, "Well, I still need a $30 fill-up on 9." Only then did he immediately pull a key out from under the desk. He ordered me: "Don't make a mess because I'm the one who has to clean it up." After lying twice to me, he scolded me like a child for a mess I didn't make. I wish I had asked for my money back and gone across the street to Chevron. I hope that it is not corporate policy to treat customers like this. I understand that providing restroom access can be a burden, but I would prefer to be told honestly that restrooms are for customers only (if this is even legal) than to be chided and lied to.
