So much faster with the new pumps. 3 pumps in each lane with extra long extensions. But no one likes to drive in the middle pump which is annoying. That is why it was designed that way. If you have to pass someone up who doesn't know how to drive around and reverse next to an available pump, please do it. It makes the lines go by much faster. read more

Costco sells its gas below market to get people to shop in their store so your never going to find a better price. The lines can get long but usually move faster than you expect. I typically enter from the furthest entry to avoid the bottle neck that sometime happens at the closest entry. Also, the gas hoses are long enough to reach my gas tank no matter what side I pull in on so I usually just pick the shortest line regardless of whether it's on my left or right. I usually save between 6 and 7 dollars a fill-up four times per week (over $325/yr.) Most of the time I stop by early mornings or late nights (before or after work) and can get in and out in 5 minutes. After buying a car that requires premium gas, the savings were a must (Costco's premium gas prices are usually about the cost of most stations 87.) If all you did was buy gas at Costco, the membership would be worth it. Add an occasional soda and hot dog and you're really making out. read more

So when you come here be patient. Be aware that there are 2 ingress points and one of which will only allow access to a single island whereas the other allows multiple points of access. I normally love coming to Costco to pump gas and get my groceries for the week it is very convenient to get both done in one place. With the new regulations for Covid 19 of having to wear a mask while pumping gas came into effect I had no issue with doing so but I do feel uncomfortable going to pump gas now because the workers don't I force the new rule and I see more than half of the people not wearing a mask. Best gas prices around, but be prepared to wait in line for a while. There are only 2 pumps per side on each island instead of the normal 3 that most Costcos have. Also, the line to the pumps snakes in tightly from the parking lot, so it is a bit of a logjam there too. This is an older Costco gas station, they got better about designing them later... read more

Everyone and their mom literally go here. Yes the prices are fantastic but the lines are agonizing. You definitely waste some gas just to get cheap gas. It really is worth it considering it's about $0.20 less a gallon than the surrounding areas. I got half a tank of gas for $12! Not bad considering gas is currently almost $4/gal elsewhere. Great Costco! Great gas prices, and as always I love the food court prices as well. It's a GREAT place to stop for lunch while We are out doing our community volunteer projects. Convenient stopping point for fuel to and from Santa Barbara, Solvang, and San Luis Obispo. It's fast and easily accessible from the Rose Avenue exit just off of the 101 freeway in Oxnard. If it's too early in the morning to go to the warehouse, there is an available bathrooms at the neighboring Burger King during their breakfast hours, or at night conversely for dinner hours when Costco may be closed. read more

I'm switching to the gas pumps at Food 4 Less. The price is the same as Costco to the penny (regular), without the long lines. Don't get me wrong, depending on the day and time, Food 4 Less has gas lines too, but not 10 to 15 cars deep and the wait on a super busy day is how long it takes for the one or two cars ahead of you to fill up, assuming they fill up. These pumps are on my way to work, so I usually get gas around 8 am, with ZERO wait time. GasBuddy also shows duplicate pricing between the two companies. read more

This Costco gas station was built in 2019 and is FAR better than the old one, which almost always had long lines and difficult access. The new one is MUCH easier to navigate. The middle pumps have plenty of space to get into and out of, even with cars in the 1st and 3rd spots. And the signals (overhead) at the entrance to the pumps let you know when a car has left a pump (sometimes you can't see them leave if they're at one of the first two pumps). The new gas station that was built and recently open is AMAZING! There's light sensors at the top that show you open stalls as well as which stalls are being currently used. If you get the key fob it's so easy to pump and go and so glad there's so many pumps now read more

Cheap gas compared to all the other chains. Costco takes care of their members even when it comes to gas. Premium and regular gas costs at least ten cents more elsewhere. Worth the wait in line if you are really trying to stretch your dollar. They also offer car washes now for $7-8. I suggest going early morning or closer to closing time to avoid the rush.
