This is my go to gas station! There can be really long lines here but it goes by pretty fast since they have three pumps in each line. Prices are always cheaper than other gas stations. BEWARE OF DRIVERS AT THIS COSTCO GAS. This is one of the worst Costco gas stations to go to. I say this is the worst because of the drivers here. The parking lot is horrid, they don't know how to direct traffic when they do, and people drive like madmen in this area. I would say the Sunnyvale Lawrence Expressway Costco is the easiest Costco to get gas in the Southbay (though I have yet to try Gilroy's). Santa Clara's near the SJC is not that bad, but they added a roundabout that makes it frustratingly difficult since people don't seem to know how to use roundabouts properly. Always check gasbuddy before getting gas. It will show that this Costco is just as cheap as the other Costcos with the Fremont Pacific Commons Costco being the most expensive. read more

This is my go-to gas station. It is super close to my home and price is always lower than most of other places. I am not an expert when it comes to judge the quality of this kind of product but at least I can say there has been no issue to my car. I have used Costco gas for many years, so far so good. Another plus is Costco gas stations are spacious and clean. Other places that I tried were not as good. I like it when there's always some staff around the place to help customers. They helped me a few times, not only this location but others as well. Really appreciated it. Because of the above reasons, it is no surprise that any Cosco gas places are usually packed during peak times. I usually go get gas before 9am or after 7 pm to avoid the traffic. Cheap gas, can I say anything more? Come here early & there won't be a long line. I think it's all based on your time management more than it is the gas station. This place opens at 6AM! That's pretty convenient & let alone the Top Tier Certified gas is great quality. So far, my car has been running well & saving gas in some sense. People here are nice and respectful. So we are total self professed Costco Junkies. Especially the gas stations. They typically are way cheaper than the surrounding gas stations and we can usually stop off at the warehouse. It suits our desire to cluster shopping. In the past I would have hung a two star on this location for a few reasons. First off it was and remains packed at most times. The lines move pretty quick, but its still can be a bit of a wait. They have gone 3 deep at the pumps so it has gotten better. When the pumps are packed, the entrance can back up so if you don't need gas you can get caught in the backup The other aspect is that surrounding stations are only 10-14 cents more (not the typical 25-30) so often we may weight the length of the line and not stop. Aside from that its a typical Costco gas station. Its cheaper, there are no services like window washing or air, its all self serve, there is no intermediate grade octane and its members only. Best price among Costco gas station. Full size gas station with plenty of pumps. Best time to come is early morning, no wait. The station is kept clean, pumps well maintained. I never seen a pump go out of service. Overall, it's the best price in town. It's worth it if you don't have to wait. After about three minutes ( I know not that long) I became irritated... This place is ALWAYS busy. That would be its only con. But gas prices are cheap, the lines go by quicker than you think and to get in and out of the gas line parking area, is really good. This is really the only place i ever get gas. Seriously!! The prices are always lower than outside gas stations like chevron, ampm, etc. There are 3 gas lines in each row. Wait time is not bad on a weekday afternoon 12-3. I just went today around that time and waited less than 5 min. (Wait also depends on which gas line you choose). Lines are long, depending on time and day you decide to go. But the line has definitely gotten better after they made the isles with 3 pops instead of the 2. It is understandable for lines to be long since their gas prices are definitely cheaper than other gas stations. There is the restriction is that you do have to be a Costco member to be able to purchase Costco gas but they do take Visa now. Always a good place to get gas. It's around 20-30 cents a gallon cheaper than elsewhere. You do have to be a Costco member to gas up. You do need to remember when the lines are longer, I always try to go early in the morning , certainly before 9:00. The worse to time to go is on a weekend, especially a Sunday... unless you go when they first open. I'm pretty sure hey have air for your tires but I've never given it a try. WhT else can you say about Gas , there is a call button if you need assistance and the person on duty will help. Lines can be long here sometimes but that's understandable especially when they offer gas 20 to 40 cents cheaper than decent gas stations. They're about to allow Visa holders to purchase gas which I am used to only using a debit card here, this is just tempting using my other visa credit cards!!! Why do you do this Costco?!! Every day, I try to count my blessings and appreciate the little things in life that matter to me such as my family, my job, and my girlfriend. If there's one other thing I will NEVER forget to be thankful for, it's Costco Gasoline Stations. The only reason I pay like $60 a year for a membership is because of the discounted gas. And luckily there are HELLA Costco Gasoline Stations around the Bay Area that serve inexpensive gas efficiently and effectively. Like, I can go on and on about how many of them (from the Fairfield location all the way to the Santa Clara one) are decent - with the exception of the Lawrence Station (please avoid that one!). This East San Jose location on Senter Road is a perfect example. One thing I absolutely need in a Costco Gasoline Station is a prime location. I'm not going to be willing to drive 15 minutes from the highway for gas just to have my car stall. Fortunately, this station is only about a mile away from the Tully Road exit off the 101 Freeway. This is quite convenient for people who live around the San Jose area because chances are you will probably pass by Tully Road (or even exit on it) quite often. However, you may have some trouble getting here because traffic can get SO BAD around this area; unless absolutely necessary, I recommend pumping gas here on weekends or very early in the morning. If there's two things that annoy me the most about certain Costco Gasoline Stations (cough Lawrence), it has to be the long lines due to a small number of lanes with only two pumps each + bottlenecking as a result of poor station design. Praise the lord, because you won't find these problems at this Costco Station! When I was pulling in at first, I was worried about the wait time after seeing huge lines of cars at the Costco. But, the gas station itself was pretty empty! Kudos to this location for having a large entrance to the station AND having three pumps on each of its lanes. That makes things move SO FAST! Even though I came on a Saturday during lunch (peak hour), I was able to get gas ALMOST IMMEDIATELY! Best of all though, price was SO CHEAP ($2.6/gallon)!!! I am definitely a fan of this East San Jose Costco Gasoline Station because it has everything I require in a solid discount pump. Even though I live like 25 minutes from this Costco, I might actually use the same amount of time and gas getting here as I would if I waited at closer, more horrid Costco Stations (UGH Lawrence!). I can never complain about Costco gas because it's always cheaper than the nearby competitors. So many gas pumps available with sensors that tells you if a pump is taken or not. And I have no problems with carbon deposits. My first time changing spark plugs was at 100K with very minimal carbon deposit.
