For example, there's: full service wash pass ($49.99) silver ($59.99) gold special ($69.99) platinum ($79.99) and just the exterior wash pass ($34.99). This means that you can go anytime throughout the month and they remember your car. It's almost like your car has a membership for a car wash which is awesome! One time, i just had my car wash and that very same day i had bird poop all over my car (never park in a parking spot where you see bird poop on the ground!!!) but the next day i was able to go right back in and get a car wash. The staff is very friendly and work hard to clean your car the way you would like. There were times when there were some specific areas I wanted them to give special attention to and the staff were friendly and did what I asked. Overall, i love the customer service and their willingness to help. Also, I noticed that the Chevron here has the cheapest gas price! Well, this used to be a favorite, but after three strikes I'm calling this batter out. On one occasion is was the service person who insisted he needed a deluxe car wash to get dust off my car. (Riiight). The next was the hammer handle who pulled off my seat handle (instead of lifting) without bothering to let me know he broke my vehicle, tossing it in the back seat for me to find. If you have a hose and bucket, save $20 and you could do it faster in your drive way! Surprisingly the cheapest chevron gas in our area n it's right by the freeway too! You would think since it's right by the freeway that it would be more expensive but nope! They also have a car wash right next to it. If you buy gas then you get $3 off of your car wash. Pretty good deal. Better than nothing. Whenever I come here there is almost always a line. But the wait isn't that long. Probably only 10 minutes tops. $3.09 for regular gas n if you have a Safeway card with points on it you could get $0.10 off per gallon. I've been coming to this Chevron from time to time to pump my gas. I've never car washed my car here before because I've heard more of a negative review than positive from family and friends. Every time when I come to pump my gas there is usually a long line due to so many people that are able to drive now- and there's a longer wait time from time to time because people come in from the other direction from Target and just swoops right in to the next available spot there is. From time to time I would go from using my credit card to cash, but since I've had issues with the person inside the booth (multiple people) I've decided to just use my credit card. People working in the booth that I've encountered has no smile on their face, can be rude and aggressive in response when you tell them they gave you the wrong change or the receipt didn't print. The mechanism that usually unlocks to indicate that your tank is full did not work and ended up overfilling my gas tank and spilling gas all along the side of my car and inside the wheel well. My car smelled a lot like gas and it was also getting inside my car at this point . I spoke to the manger the next morning and he took care of the situation . I've been here a few times in the past. But today was ridiculous! It took so long to get the car thru the car wash. Between the long lines and what looked like short of help... it took just way too long. I was watching them dry off and clean my car, then I noticed nobody was working on my car, it was just sitting there. I love this gas station! Great quality gas, cheap prices! I work in Santa Clara, but live right around the corner from this gas station. My commute is roughly around 40 minutes, to and from work. I drive a V6 and this gas, I can honestly say, burns slow. And to top that off, I only spend $40 on gas a week. That's a little compared to other people. I used to never pump Chevron because I don't poop gold and I don't have tons of money to burn. I started pumping at this Chevron because i'm always in the area to hit up Target (which is in the same plaza) or some pearl drink/Asian restaurants (Paloma Plaza, right across the way). The price isn't as low as, say, ARCO, but it most definitely much lower then any other Chevron in the local area. My friends and I have come to a conclusion that our gas tanks lasts longer when we pump pretty much anything other than ARCO. From my personal experience, Chevron not only lasts me a bit longer, it also makes me feel like i'm taking care of my baby, you know, with that Techron and whatnot. There is also a car wash that's attached to this gas station. They don't do THE best job, but for $15.99, it's a deal. Quick, good enough, and economical for those times you just can't find the time to wash your own car. All in all, you can pump gas, get your car washed, and drive into the sunset (the 101 freeway is literally around the corner from this location). read more

I don't think it's worth the pennies to come here and wait in the long line. I've never pumped gas at this place but have noticed that cars are backing up on Capitol Expwy. The main reason for this is that they only have ONE way in and ONE way out which is so stupid. One car can block the whole lane if he/she doesn't want to drive forward. It pisses me off because it always creates the unnecessary traffic jam in this area anytimes of the day. I wish Chevron would do something about it or move out of the place. read more

Love that it's simple. Most cars go in that one-way direction that helps a lot. Seriously. Have you ever gotten angry at that idiot driver who goes the opposite of you and makes you reverse out instead of him? Or how about when there's a long line because the gas nozzle doesn't reach around to the opposite side so cars wait for their side to be available leaving 2-3 has pumps available to those behind them. It's lovely that a car has that picture to let you know which side your fuel tank is on.... But it does not tell you if the gas nozzle will reach from right to left or left to right. I remembered after the remodeling of the gas station awhile back that they realized their mistake in taking out the nozzle extension. They remedied that and fixed that little mistake. It's easy access to the free way, not to mention that their gas price is always one of the lowest!! :) Not to sound mean, 99.9% of the time it is bum free. I had been a regular customer of their car wash and signed up for their monthly service. I gave them a credit card and they would charge a monthly fee for unlimited car washes each month. It was convenient so I used it even though I only used it once every 3 or 4 weeks. Today I went in and they said I'd have to pay. I asked why and they claimed my credit card was expired. None of my credit cards are expired. NONE! So I asked them which one. They gave me the last 4 digits and I showed them the credit card. It expires in 2023. It's not a new credit card. The "manager" said there was nothing he could do about it. Huh! He told me to calm down. Then said that the people there weren't my slaves. Well, that really set me off. I will never do business with a company that can't own a mistake and blames it on the customer. When it happens, it's the last they'll see of me. All I wanted as a resolution was to acknowledge the mistake and reinstate the contract. Should have been simple. I had the credit card in question. Instead I got a bunch of flack claiming it was my fault, and a snide remark implying I was looking down on the employees there. Nope. I just wanted to be heard and someone who would fix their error. Best prices for quality gas. It seems like the gas price here is usually a few cents cheaper than other gas stations, even when I compare it to USA Gasoline down the street. The only problem is during the day, the line can get very long, so I recommend coming here in the morning or after 10pm to avoid the lines. I've noticed that even with long lines, the line moves pretty quickly since there are a bunch of pumps. Also, the nozzle stretches pretty far so you can park your car on either side of the pump and it shouldn't be a problem. read more

Save yourself some cash and clean the car yourself. I paid $38 for their platinum wash and it was bronze at best. I am baffled as to why it is so expensive since it is not even hand washed. The post wash job is terrible and doing this day in and day out makes you accustomed to certain standards but no. They forgot to clean the trunk by opening it and I had to remind them. The fuel cap was not cleaned and neither were the wheels cleaned properly. Shoddy job. Quite displeased. read more

The Chevron on Capitol and Silver Creek is guaranteed to have one of the cheapest prices in the area for brand name fuel. (The only one that is cheaper is the 76 on Aborn but that's a little further in away from the highway.) The only drawback for this Chevron is that there is always a line.
