I drove right back and pulled right up to show the cashier my car. He had the odasity to ask me if I wanted to run my car through AGAIN !! I said "WHAT FOR ? TO MAKE IT DIRTIER ??? ". They obviously used recycled water. I don't know how carwashes work, but I had to go to a different car wash right away as I needed a clean car the next morning for an event. I won't go here again. Completely disrespectful and arrogant, like he was above accepting change. Prices might be a few cents lower than United Oil, but it's not worth the attitude & they are probably finding some way to rip you off anyway. Same thing happened to a friend recently, so clearly this is how they treat people. They've lost a regular customer for good. Yeah those manufactured cheeseburgers. I don't know why, but every few years I get a hankering for these hockey pucks and old faithful AM/PM gas stations is where I can sometimes find them. Not all of them carry them and when/if they do it's usually a limited time of day (11am-2pm) or something. Sometimes I'll come here and slather it with ketchup and feel 12 yo again. This place has a car wash which never gets used. Staff who are mean as hell, sometimes giving incorrect change and an attitude. They have a nice selection of snacks and drinks, better than 7-11's. Both have branded candies and chips, but AM/PM's are almost always nicer. Gas station with plenty of room, pumps and parking. You can get your truck trailer in and around here easy. Bus stops and other fast foods nearby make this a pretty good location, sort of near main roads and the freeway. it's worth the quarter mile up the road from other gas stations. Phone is always off the hook or never answered. Usually I'll stop in for water, lottery tickets, snacks using their rewards or smokes, but once in a while I'll just come in for those odd burgers or a spicy sausage. Condiments are questionable so stick to shelf stable stuff despite them having relish, onions. Gas is cheap and they go even cheaper if you pay cash bc they still have that $.035 card charge. Generally the homeless stear clear of this station, but are nearby.

Some people were even using the end pumps as parking, which means no one could use the pumps in front of them either, because there's no room to pass here. Not sure if the stations attendants know about this but it is extremely frustrating and deters me from wanting to get gas here again despite the good pricing. Better than Costco as of today. The free drink with purchase of gas is a great little perk too. Hopefully they start enforcing parking in the dedicated parking areas!

I was going to Chevron Gas Station on College Boulevard and I had to pay $4.99 almost $5.00 for Regular Gas. I only went to Chevron Gas Station due to that location was closer to my parents' house. Anyway, yesterday on Sunday, July 20, 2024 I drove up behind this woman customer whose car is a black van putting gas in her car. After this customer paid for her gas with Amir their cashier, I pulled up to pump number 6 and then I turned off my ignition locked my car door and then I walked inside their small store. I said to Amir , I don't know if he remembered me but last week when I drove up to one of their gas station pumps and I was sweating a lot since the weather was very HOT and HUMID that day, Amir saw me suffering so he walked outside to the drinks cooler and he took out one bottle of Cold Water and he gave me this water but Amir said the water is no charge to me that specific day because he witnessed me wiping the sweat off my face often. I thanked Amir for the cold water and his kindness to me. Amir told me he remembered me and my car. Before I paid Amir the $20.00 to put a half tank of regular gas into my car at pump # 6, I told Amir that since he was very kind to me in giving me a FREE bottle of cold water and their gas is 81 cents much cheaper than the Chevron Gas Station that I frequently go to get gas in my car, I am going to be his regular customer from now on. Amir smiled and he told me he appreciates me being his new customer. That Chevron Gas Station on College Boulevard their three cashiers who are (Matthew, Donovan, and Cecilia) have always charged me for their bottled water, even when I was suffering from this really humid and hot weather conditions every year in the Summer. I realized from Amir showing an act of his kindness towards me who's one of his new customers it really impressed me. Amir will have me as his new loyal customer at the Mission Express Gas Station from now on. I learned that showing compassion to your new customers is the smart way to operate your business. It's not just about making a profit off of their customers at this Mission Expo Gas Station.
