The other couple looked up the transaction from their phone and saw 7 eleven charged them 76 bucks. I was also charged--twice. The workers said too bad take it up with your bank. 7-11's are known for their hours and this is location has gas (4 pumps). It's on a larger plot with minimal parking, but tons of room to maneuver and get in and out. The parking lot condition is pretty janky. Oil laden and looking more like an old pep boys with all the paint chipping. The closest gas station to a friend's house I frequent it's also the closest for cheap beer runs. Price on gas and items are average, service is basic. Zombies for sure. I've never once been told "hello" or really even spoken to if that tells you anything. I find it a little disturbing how close to a school it is. We all know these convenience stores are and were hot spots for drugs and bedlam growing up. A few weirdo's handing around at any given time. It's most common for me to get water, sunflower seeds and gas before a road trip. read more

If you pay with cash, count your change. You are likely to be short changed. The first time I called them on it. The guy made an excuse about coin shortage, although his drawer had plenty of coin. Don't waste your time trying to get gas here. The gas pump is complete shit. I first tried my debit card and when I typed in my PIN number it kept saying transaction canceled.. so I tried my credit card and when typing my billing zip code realized the zero on the number pad wouldn't work. The screen would go back to the "enter the billing zip code" and erase my progress before I could get the zero to work. Once it even typed too many zeros. I did finally enter my zip code in correctly despite this problem then it said something I didn't catch then said please see store associate! I said screw it and left to go to the chevron down the street. The 711 parking lot makes me uncomfortable anyways, it looks dirty and unsafe. Even though you have to pass the 78 to get to the chevron is it worth it. So many more pumps, the pumps are newer and actually work, and the parking lot is clean. read more

You get tweakers, businessmen, middle school kids, stoners, teenagers, soccer mom's, blue collar guys and people stopping by before the club. It's amazing to see the great diversity that rolls by this place. You could possibly do a Sociological study based on the types of people that stroll in here. You can get gas cheaper here than across the street, little taquito looking tortilla concoctions for $1.29 and coffee from the best coffee bar from a non-coffee shop in town. This place is great. Guy couldn't give me my money back he called the manager and she told him to figured it out when he had no access to the safe he kept calling her and she said she wasn't gonna stop by! I recently just moved into the area and I had built up a very positive relationship with most of the employees here. Pretty much like the show of Cheers! I walk in, I say hello to everyone and everyone is smiling and theres never a problem...except for this morning. Dropped in to grab some morning grub and I noticed a new employee that ive only seen twice and it was an older gentlemen with glasses and balding in the center of his head (but thats not the point). Anyways, I was the only one in the store when he was scanning my items, as soon as he was done scanning he had his hand out waiting for payment...while he had his hand out I was taking off my backpack to grab my wallet and he kept rushing me to pay him and mentioned that there was a customer behind me waiting (she had just walked in) and he kept waving his hand in a gesture motion to hurry me up. Its really a big pet peeve when people do things like that, and I had told him that I have never been rushed or been given that type of uneccesary service at this store. He just laughed it off. Anyways, I wanted to pay him in change that I had literally brought but that wouldve been a little f't up huh? So, I just pulled out my card and swiped just to get the hell outta there...that employee really had poor customer service skills and I just wanted to get the hell out. I wish I wouldve gotten his name to tell you guys to watch out for, but I was just disctracted with the way things were going down at 711 lol. He works in the mornings ONLY for the most part, and hes probably in his mid 50's with glasses. Overall, the night crew and the store is awesome. This place has some of the rudest employees. For some reason they always have an attitude. Just recently my sister bought a Big Gulp and filled it with iced tea. Their sign says $0.79 for Big Gulp but he charged her $0.99 because "that price was for soda only" which it never states that. They argued with her saying she had to pay $0.99. Also, I won $12 on a Super Lotto...I went in about 10:05pm to scan and get my money. The guy in the "RR" hat smiled and said that the lotto machine closes at 10pm and to come back at 6am to get my money. I tried to tell him that my ticket was a winning one but he still said "no...sorry come back at 6am". I thought that was odd that he couldn't still wouldn't give me my winning; I have even bought lotto tickets after 10pm at other 7-11. So I went to a different 7-11 and they gave me my $12. I took my son to 7/11 around 6 PM on July 11 for the advertised FREE SLURPEE (advertised "free" between 11 AM and 7 PM). There was a sign on the machine that said "No free slurpees. Buy one get one free." The parking lot was ridiculous so my son went in alone. He came out super disappointed. I mean, why advertise "free slurpees" if you're going to cut people off before the nationally advertised time of 7 PM? I took my son to AM/PM for a slushy. Problem solved. read more

I stopped here for gas because it was cheaper than most of the gas stations in the area and I was desperately low on gas. The area is a little sketchy, being a female by herself at night it was not the ideal situation here. I pulled up and noticed the red security seal on the credit card machine was torn off so I checked the rest of the pumps to find they were all damaged. In my desperation I filled up anyways and just stayed in my car while I waited. Made sure to print a receipt just in case there are any discrepancies on my credit card statement later on. Morning staff is great! They always keep up with making fresh coffee for the customers. Very friendly always asking if I need help. Lines are never long, service is quick. The only thing I would have a complaint about is sometimes it's so busy that the parking lot is hectic and over crowded. For that I took 1 star away. This is the third time, in three months, I've had a problem with this place. I won't bore you with the details on the previous two...but this time, they didn't give me the proper receipt for the gas I bought. Since it's a company car, it's something I needed to show my boss. When I got down the 78 freeway and saw it said "$69" (when I put in $27)...I called. They said they'd have the receipt when I returned (I told them the time, and pump number...which was from a mere 10 minutes previous). When I returned 2 hours later, no receipt. I spent 15 minutes while they looked on computers, and told them I'd return later. When I returned later, they did have it. Sort of. It was a paper, that had the pump number, time, and amount I paid for gas. PERFECT. Well...not really. It also said an addition $100 was taken off the company credit card, and then put back on the card. So...who knows how I'll explain that to the boss. On a side note: I missed lunch and decided to try their pizza. I know, I know...who goes to 7 11 for pizza??? It wasn't half bad. read more
