This is my go-to Costco when I'm visiting family in Summerlin and need to do some basic grocery shopping. It's conveniently located and easy to get in and out of, and I usually end up finding a few items here that I don't see at my local Costco in San Francisco. The store is clean, well-maintained, and consistently well-stocked, even during busier times. The staff have always been friendly and helpful when I've needed assistance, which makes the overall experience smooth and hassle-free.

I come here often and I try to come during non peak times to beat the crowds because this place is a zoo. Lots of great products and values although many items I still purchase at Sam's since they're a little cheaper. At the end of the year it all adds up. One issue is that when you have the app you can't do as you would at Sam's and skip the lines at the counters. This needs to be worked out asap. I'll come here more often when that's figured out.

This review is all about the fantastic customer service I just received from Frannie in the membership department. I needed to pay for my annual Costco membership and noticed that I had never redeemed my last year's reward check, I had looked up online last night to see if these checks expired and they do apparently. I took a chance and asked Frannie about it and she happily took my check and used it towards this year's membership fees. I was so pleased that I didn't lose out on using my rewards check. Thank you so much Frannie! Note to self - Be sure to use your reward checks timely and don't hide them in your wallet! Lol!'

Offers a lot of nice items at good prices, but still doesn't offer all of my basic staple foods which forces me to shop at other local grocers as well.

I always enjoy shopping at this location - as long as it's after 6pm, because any time before that is MANIC, especially on the weekends! They often run out of items, at least when I visit. An employee here told me they are the largest, and busiest Costco in the Las Vegas Valley. Every employee I have encountered has been very helpful and friendly, from the greeters, to the cashiers. The Women's bathroom area is usually very clean. They recently renovated the bathrooms here. The warehouse is well organized. My go-to location!

It's less crowded now that the new Costco has opened but the quality of the prepared items has gone down. They must of moved the A+ employees to the new store.

I've cherished each and every piece and really wanted to be able to wear them. So when I needed to have a stone reset in a ring I had bought, I had done some research on Yelp and after reading some great reviews of D&R Diamonds, I made an appointment! They are located in the business tower in downtown Summerlin. I made my appointment at 10am when they open, an appointment is necessary. I was greeted and shown to the office of Cesar, the very talented jewelry designer. He looked first at the emerald ring that needed the stone reset. He inspected it and provided me with a quote for the repair. I had reviewed several sites for a similar repair and the quoted price was right in the ball park. After that project was scheduled for repair, I brought out a ring I had brought with me. It was too small to wear on my hand and the setting was really out dated so I was hoping Cesar could make a few suggestions that might bring it up to date. He opened up his computer and flipped a few programs opened and while talking to me about life, family and other friendly subjects he was able to gather enough of my likes and dislikes to begin drawing out on scratch paper a possible design or two. The ring had a trio of pearls surrounded by rubies. As a ring setting it had a bulkiness to it that would make wearing it impossible for me not to bang it on any and everything. I liked the idea of splitting it into earrings and a pendant. So with some simple sketches, Cesar came up with some beautiful settings for earrings and with matching pendant. He then began working some of the ideas into the design programs he had opened up and with some approval by me he was able to make some gorgeous pieces. I loved the end results. I also loved how easy the process was to go from an outdated piece to something very beautiful and with a reasonable price. Cesar kept me up to date while the process was on going , It took a couple of weeks which seemed to fly by. When Cesar called to tell me the pieces were available for pick up, again making an appointment, i went right at opening time. If you've shopped at Downtown Summerlin then you know parking on the street can be a challenge even at an early morning time. I inspected the designed pieces and the setting on the emerald ring. Everything was very sparkly, shiny and beautiful, they looked like new pieces. I was very happy with the finished results. If you want jewelry repair or jewelry design I would recommend D&R House of Diamonds. They are terrific with both. Prices are reasonable because they have an office instead of a showroom, overhead is lower thus allowing them to have great prices.

There's plenty of parking,…read morethough it was so busy during my visit that finding a spot close to the entrance took some patience. I also noticed the handicap parking isn't directly in front of the store. Watermelon season is definitely in full swing. There were giant bins of watermelons near the entrance, and it felt like almost every cart had one in it. The store was packed, making some aisles difficult to navigate. The smaller carts actually helped because full size carts would have made it feel even more crowded. There were sale tags and promotions throughout the store, and this location also carries alcohol. As a chef... I tend to pay attention to food displays and preparation methods. A lot of the products throughout the store are prepackaged, which isn't surprising, though the hot food section could use some attention. Several items looked like they had been sitting for a while. The meatloaf, in particular looked dry and wasn't very appealing. The cheese department was probably my favorite area. There was a great selection, and many of the prices were better than I expected. I could have spent a lot more time browsing that section alone. The bakery was fully stocked and looked nice, though the breads appeared to be frozen products that were baked off in-store rather than made from scratch. When bread is being made in house, there's usually that unmistakable fresh yeast aroma throughout the bakery, and I didn't notice that here. Before leaving, I stopped by the coffee bar near the exit. I'm a fan of Vietnamese coffee, so I grabbed one of their bottled options from the cooler by the register for around $5. I also tried the brown butter cookie latte. Both drinks were flavorful and packed a serious caffeine punch. Overall, I enjoy shopping at Whole Foods. The store was clean, well stocked, and had a nice variety of products. While their branding focuses heavily on organic and natural foods, many shoppers may be surprised by how much of the store consists of packaged and prepared products. Still, it's an easy place to find specialty ingredients and quality items that aren't always available elsewhere.

Of all the locations I have visited, the Trader Joe's on S Hualapai Way near Suma Drive in Summerlin is by far one of my favorites. The employees are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the store is always clean, organized, and very well stocked. Obviously, in the grocery business, certain products occasionally sell out, get discontinued, or go on back order, so no store can realistically maintain 100% availability. But I would say this location does an outstanding job of keeping its shelves stocked and maintaining excellent product availability the vast majority of the time. I shop here practically every day, and at this point many of the team members probably recognize me by sight! If I'm not doing my grocery shopping at Costco, chances are I'm at this Trader Joe's. Most importantly, I want to give a big shout-out to the management and the entire team at this Summerlin location. A consistently clean, well-stocked store with friendly employees doesn't happen by accident--it reflects good leadership and employees who care about their customers. I have encountered "crew member "ELISE" a couple of times and I will say not once has she been friendly. I don't care for a full on convo but at least smile and say hi and not roll your eyes at a customer when they ask if the receipt can go in the bag instead of handed directly to me (just a habit). I was with a friend and she happened to be at the next register being checked out and Elise comes over and starts bagging the items and again she is just rolling her eyes, talking underneath her breath about helping the next customer and just not a nice demeanor at all. I really hate to leave these reviews but as a frequent shopper at TJ's who truly enjoys how nice and friendly other crew members are .. I felt this needed to be addressed. If I make my way back, I will def avoid going to the register she is at. That's how uncomfortable she made me. I get some people have bad days but the fact this has happened 3-4 times is not ok.
