I swear every time I go to Costco I feel like I'm in Disney. I could spend an entire day exploring Costco seeing what cool stuff they have on sale that day. They have everything you could think of. Slippers for Abuela? They have that. Gas, food, liquor, phones, cameras, toys; you name it they have it. The majority of items they sell are sold in bulk such as: food, toilet paper, etc., but at a reasonable price. You save more money in the long run and get a better deal than going elsewhere. Starving? Don't even worry about eating at home. They have someone handing out free samples on every corner. This is the reason why I could spend an entire day at Costco. I am constantly being handed a free sample of either smoked salmon on a cracker or a piece of chicken; it varies. If the samples aren't enough you could get a hotdog and soda for $1.50. $1.50? I know, super flipping cheap! That will get you a bag of chips in a vending machine. They also have a few more food items you can select from that are extremely cheap. I highly recommend getting a Costco membership; it's definitely worth it. Trust me! read more

If this had a negative option...I would put the lowest rating possible. This place is horrendous. Their customer service is so screwed up. They are all over the place and don't pay attention to customers. We've had the same experience EACH AND EVERY time for the past 3-4 years! This time just takes the cake. We purchase pallets of water from many Costcos throughout South Florida around this time of year and each time we've a hard time. We CALL AHEAD OF TIME to check how many are available and how many FOR SURE we can purchase. It has gotten to the point where we call multiple times to confirm because no one relays any messages and no one actually does their job. Its all "Sure we have it. You need two? Ok we've two for you for today." - we arrive on a TRUCK and are forced to go looking for a manager who doesn't even look us directly in the eyes because they are so distracted. They don't even apologize for their poor customer service. Then one has to ask another. One says yes, the other says no. Then they disappear. Then they help other people while we stand there wondering if we will be able to PURCHASE (meaning give them money for a product - which is what they are supposed to be doing). I can't even begin to tell you how much time we lost just watching them scramble around. Get your crap together Costco of Miami Lakes. Get some training. If employees as far up as managers don't care enough to be professional then how do you expect regular employees act? How do you expect long time customers to feel? How do you expect anyone to feel? Why must we go through a hard time each and every time? Why must we pull teeth to get someone to help us? We reserve trucks to come and pick these products up AFTER WE SPEAK TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE THAT CONFIRM THEY HOW LONG? WHAT WE ARE COMING TO PURCHASE and you just leave us high and dry due to your INCOMPETENCE. If employees are so careless and oblivious then they shouldn't be dealing with customers. I don't even want to hear that nothing can be "promised" regarding product availability because this has been going on for YEARS! Costco employees DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. They don't even know how to handle things or act decent and civilized with customers. Just robot with the "beep, beep, beep" of the assembly line register. Anything else seems to freeze their brains. I was paying at the register and the man who was charging my items told me the chicken did not have price that "I" had to run to the back and get a new one or he was not going to be able to buy the chicken. I politely asked him to please have someone get me another one and he said no that it was my responsibility to go get one if not I can not purchase the chicken. He was extremely rude and argumentative with me. He was treating all the customers in his lane with disrespect. He should be fired. Or put in a warehouse stocking position where he does not deal with the public. Absolutely embarrassing for Costco to have an employee defaming their character and name. Costco is a double edged sword for me. Why you ask... While I love the great deals when buying in bulk it's like the store always had a never ending cold because of all the congestion of people in 1 location. It feels like your waiting for a roller coster ride in disney some times to pay. However, like I said before you can't beat the prices on and LARGE selection of Red Meat from Sirloin and NY Strips, Flank Steaks, Etc to Whole Chicken, Brest, Tenderloin and other forms of meat like Turkey, Fish such as Salmon, Tilapia, Snapper, Tuna and Shell fish like Lobster, Crab and Scallops. They also have amazing quantities of of dry food, can food and home essentials like plates, silverware, cooking pots and pans. You also have a LARGE selection of electronics!! I've bought both my Flat Screen LED Samsung TV's from them, along with my Blu Ray player and sound bar from them. Deals on computer, toner, office supplies. Beautiful, home furniture and outdoor and garden essentials. Like I said it has it all !!! It's a grown's up one stop shop! Friendly, staff and friendly greeters proving samples. The store is very clean and it's well organized and this location, has a gas center and tire center as well. Other then the store being so crowed I really don't have any other complaints. read more

I rarely shop in the store unless I need something in bulk and I'm trying to save a little, but sometimes the savings aren't all that great. They do have some unique items, and the croissants from the bakery are heaven. They also have a cafe in the front and you can get a large pizza pie for $10 (bring cash). What I do visit often for is the gas. The gas prices tend to be competitive and lower than most. If I find anything lower it is not by much. They have several pumps, but if you come during peak hours you may end up second or third in line (sometimes more). Typically, your safe from long waits if you go outside of lunch hour. read more

This has to be one of the worst experiences I've had at this particular Costco. As far as customer service. I've been a member since 1996. The cashier by the name of Reggie W. Has a NASTY attitude. Greeted him with a hello and he didn't even respond. Then I asked him a question he ignored the question and when I proceeded to ask again he seem aggravated and answered aggressively. As we were leaving my mother got her receipt and politely said thank you and he didn't even respond. This particular Costco customer service normally sucks. This place is awesome when you have the need to spend $250.00+. Don't trust your thoughts when they tell you to come in and just get the essentials like eggs, milk, water, etc... The deals are always good. The best thing a find here is the 35 bottles of Kirkman water for less than $3.50 that is like .10 cents per bottle and it is really good. Paper towels Kirkman brand are the bomb. Bounty ain't got shit on these. I will continue to go to Costco and spend $150+ on stuff I really need. read more

If you've never been to costco, you're missing out. From the great deals, bulk groceries to the delicious food they sell in the front of the store, there's really not one thing I don't love about them! I've been going to the Costco on 57th since I could remember. Walking down each and every aisle with my mom at least once or twice a week. A usual shopping trip would consist of meat, breads, rice, oil and toiletries, I grew up with a family of 7 which has only grown over the years so we definitely benefit from bulk grocery buying. I have to say, from everything I ever buy from Costco, my favorite things to buys are the store made Butter Croissants and Muffins from the bakery section. I practically lived off those two through high school. I also really like seeing all the new house items and furniture they come out with. After paying, don't forget to get yourself a footlong hotdog and drink for only 1.50! Hell yea!! Best deal and will for sure fill you up! The Pizza is good too but those hotdogs are on point. Now I know I'm ranting and raving about all these great things but the real reason why I gave this place a 4 is because of the dirty, disgusting public bathrooms. Every time I need to use the bathroom I could never find one clean toilet nor do the locks on the stalls seem to work. When I could hold it, I will but common, with all the products and man power in this place, not one person could come Lysol and Clorox the toilets every few hours? It's pretty gross. I have had Bjs and Samsclub membership for years, this year I decided to try Costco instead. I found a deal in Groupon that cost $60 plus freebies and about 200$ worth of coupon. Everything was fine until I went to the store to get my membership card. As soon as I arrived I was on my way to the customer service desk, a man approached me to ask if I bought the deal from one of the websites (Groupon / Livingsocial) that he wanted to show me WHY I NEEDED TO UPGRADE to an EXECUTIVE MEMBER and pay an extra $60.00. I responded , I did not want to get an upgrade, he continuing insisting until I said my answer is NO. then he rushed to the customer service desk (mind you, he was literary running) when I got to the customer service line, I saw him pointing at me to a customer service woman. The woman told me to go to where she was, She then told me and showed me again everything he did and she got offended and defensive. I was like ma'am I DONT WANT TO UPGRADE. I ALREADY SPENT $60 , I DONT WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER $60, then she called a manager to see if I would get convinced. To finish the story, 3 employees from Costco tried to convinced me and failed. They made me feel unconformable and also made me look like if I was a cheap person because I did not want to spend more money, they can screw themselves, I will never renew their membership. This happened a while back I want to Costco read Road to buy a vacuum cleaner is a gift upon checkout they took out a razor and slash the box open ashen wow why are you doing that I said we want to make sure that everything is in the box that you paid for. Costco is a wonderful place to save money. I have saved more than my membership costs pumping gas at a 25 cent savings over other gas stations. This Costco has a gas station which most Costco's do not have. My only gripe is their complete lack of customer service. I have had not one but two unpleasant interactions with their employees. In addition, I dislike the fact that they close very early and essentially throw people out of the store at closing time. Once you are unceremoniously herded to the front of the store they make you stand in a 30 person line to check out because they have closed all of the registers. I have been buying a pallet of water for years. Today the manager (Steve SUAREZ) said the only way I could buy 50 cases if I carried it out myself. They always loaded the pallet on my truck. The reason was they only one pallet and half. But I had another employee check for me they had 300 pcs(6pallets) . I don't know if the manager had other problems but I think this is very poor customer service. My company would never buy water again from this location. read more

2/23/17 - I very rarely write review but I needed to vent and let this out. Incredible how rude some of the employees are here at the Miami Lakes Costco. I forgot what it was like to be treated like a customer that spends tons here WEEKLY! I went to the customer service desk because I had made a mistake in using one of my credits cards. I was told that I needed to see a manager and I asked where I can find one and she said in the front. I went to were she specified and I asked Brenda F. E. Supervisor if she can help me, I told her that I was told I needed to see a manager to void the transaction and re-ring it to use the credit card I was supposed to use originally. With the nastiest attitude she told me she wasn't a manager. Then asked for my membership, I told her if she's not a manager then can she please call on for me. She asked for my membership again and I said no. Then I saw a gentleman and noticed on his ID said F.E. Manager. Adrian was very polite and I told him what was going on and he told me it wasn't a problem and he would take care of it. When he told Jose what he had to no Jose, cashier, started rolling his eyes and nodding his head as if I was wasting his time. I felt so small and wanted to cancel my membership and boycott Costco for life! Luckily, Adrian F.E. Manager was helpful and understanding. He apologized for the other individuals body language and eye rolls. However, I believe both of them should be spoken to about their behavior. It is uncalled for! You're working with the public which means you're going to deal with this kind of stuff on a daily. No need for the attitude. This is why the world is the way it is, because of people like this. Be careful when buying gas here. I was about to start start filling up! I put my Costco credit card into the slot! And it was not going in! Being suspicious of it either not working or being tampered with, I did not try to push the card. I called over the attendant Jeff! He had a dismissive attitude surly attitude.And I did not believe his explanation that there was nothing wrong with the card reader! I went inside and spoke to the store manager. She came out to the pump with me. And in front of her, Jeff the attendant continues to berate me yelling that there is nothing wrong with the pump reader! I walked away! This was not the first time I had a problem with the gas pumps here. On several fill up recently, the pumps were shutting off, even though the tank was not filled all way. And I drove away short a few gallons of full! I don't know what the hiring criterea or training is at this store! But most of the employees are surly with attitudes! I been a customer to this Costco for over 15 years and I can say customer service is going from Bad to worst. Today I went like I had done before to put money in one of their cash card to put gas in but I want to make sure how much money I had in the card since I had two at that moment.went I asked the cashier if he's able to verify my balance of those card he just told me NO. I told he was kidding at first since I been doing this in the past w/o a problem but went I laughed and asked again he said I just told you NO!,i don't know how you're going to do it but I can't. He asked me to buy something and then he will verify which I did then he again asked me to pay for what I bought I said used the money on the card he said no you have to paid for this separate, I said listen you just making everything difficult and I don't get what is it that you're trying to do. At the end he didn't check for nothing make me buy stuff that I didn't plan to buy and ACT LIKE AN A$$. As soon my membership is done will shoppe elsewhere. read more

Took my car to the Costco tire center for some tires. Derek the manager got me a great deal on some tires, but unfortunately, they were too bulky and were hitting my break line. I took my car back, and Derek was nice enough to order me another set of tires (thank you Derek!!!!). When I went back Adrian another manager was a little hesitant in replacing the same size tires for another brand, but I insisted and he did. Adrian (the manager) personally assisted a supervisor in balancing and mounting my tires. They did an awesome job balancing my tires - my car has never driven as smooth as it is now (thank you Adrian and Supervisor - you guys did a great job!), I am very HAPPY with the exchange!!
