Their staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I took my jeep in for a (hopefully) quick tire patch and they were able to help me. Fairly quick for being a walk-in. They checked out the entire vehicle and took care of whatever was needed. They even gave my pup some water while we waited. They're nestled in the back of the plaza and no visible from 183rd street. I been coming here now for two years. Never had a problem with them. The prices are fair and I have no problems after wards with the work done. In the past when I needed an oil change I would take my car to Jiffy Lube and every time something would go wrong with the car a few days later. I have gotten oil changes, battery changes, tire rotations and had my wiper blades changed here. The staff is always friendly. My one complain is PARKING!!! There never is enough parking here. If you don't come before 10am expect to have to drive around looking for parking for awhile. You might even end up parking far away from the actual Firestone. It wont be a problem though you just tell them where you parked and they find it. read more

Went in for a change of brakes and a new battery and left with my car rattling and and smeared with grease on the interior of my car. Brought the car twice after words in order to adjust and the mechanic basically said that there is no noise I can hear even though it's still going on, called Corporate in order to complain and advised that I did not want to deal with the same location and you guessed it, the same location called me to try to fix the issue at this point I'm not sure what I'm gonna do but I will never be bringing my car back to this location read more

UPDATE #2 - tried this location again and the HORRIBLE guy seems to be gone! Service was GREAT except they never replied to my email from the first time! Minus one star for that but a net gain of three stars for being up-to-par with others! UPDATE: they replied to this and I emailed them and they never replied again! First of all, let me just say I really love Firestone for the most part. Unfortunately, this location lacks so much and really left me surprised. As anybody who knows me knows I don't like to give one star reviews. With that said, once again, this place fell short of meeting customer expectations and that's quite sad. I did go here because of their wonderful yelp reviews and because of that, I feel cheated. First of all, I was greeted by an older guy who was abrupt and really lacked customer service skills. Yes, I know that my tires are balding. He spent about 10 minutes going through my history and verifying where things were purchased and made unnecessary comments. I have a doctorate in psychology and I can tell you that normal people would be very offended and just go elsewhere and to a competitor or if they were spoken to that way. When you are a business, you should treat a customer with respect and understand or at least pretend to understand where they are coming from. You should not be overbearing and dismissive. Especially to such a loyal customer, which absolutely can be verified through their purchase history. However, I paid for a lifetime rotation and also a lifetime alignment and a lifetime balance in California. These basic services should be granted whenever a customer asks for them as they are basic and they should be granted at any Firestone. One of the things I wanted to do was get new wipers. I was quoted $41 for new wipers. When I explained that I thought that might be too expensive, The guy who take care of me explain that I was in for a "rude awakening" whenever I would go to Auto Zone and price the parts there. As he was saying this, I did go to AutoZone online and found that I could save approximately $16 to have them replaced myself. I was under the impression that all Firestones would always meet advertised prices. Maybe only the professional ones, such as the ones in California. Lastly, I came to get my tires balanced, rotated and aligned. The man who helped me explained they were extremely understaffed and then I would have to wait several hours. He began to proceed with a very high-pitched and high-pressure sales job for new tires. It made me very uncomfortable and I understand I need new tires. However, I don't have the funds to purchase them at this very moment. I went home and I looked through other places and unfortunately Firestone is the most expensive place to have tires replaced according to their quotes. I was quoted both run flats and regular tires. It appears that Sears, pep boys and other online tire suppliers were all less expensive for similar brands of tires. Lastly, I was turned down on the balance of the tires and even the rotation. This location very reluctantly aligned my tires but attempted to turn me down for that. I had to challenge this and they ended up providing an alignment. Perhaps it was just this particular Firestone. It felt very unnerving to have this type of service delivered and prices quoted without providing any type of promotions that even were advertised online. I totally understand that businesses are there to make money. Of course this makes sense. However, listen to your customers especially when they explain that this is not the type of service they are accustomed to even when they are loyal customers to Firestone. Nothing was mentioned about online promotions or even opening up a credit card that could save money at all. It was no empathy from the sales person when I explained that my funds were extremely limited at the moment. His only interest was to provide quotes and asked "when will you have the money to buy it"? I was truly shocked by the way it was handled. When I expressed this to him in a very nice way, he explained and gave me examples of other "bad customers." I did not feel I was doing anything unethical or simply what another customer would not do. I have generally had good experiences with Firestone in the past. I am willing to give them another chance at another location. I hope this is not a trend because I really did like Firestone and I trusted them. However, I would never use blind trust and I would be very savvy as a consumer if I were you and especially if I were reading a yelp review. In short, I will not visit this Firestone again. If I were you, as a reader, I would either go to another establishment or visit a different Firestone. I hope my extensive review helps clients in the future make up an informed decision and I hope management takes this to heart because I noticed that they do comment on other yelp reviews and I'm sure they will comment on this one read more

I recently took my truck into a Firestone and pay $100 for a diagnostic test to see what is wrong with the car turn out they said I need $500 worth of work I bring it back home Saturday morning I get up take the fender liner off look at the knock sensor and the wiring was off of the knock sensor replaced the wiring reset the code and started the truck there was no issue with the code on the computer anymore. read more

I've been here a couple of times for tires, oil change and battery and I have to say they have done a good job every time. I ordered a set of tires online but when I got there they did not have the model tires in stock which is not what was on the website. They said the corporate website is not updated often enough but they would call other Firestones to find that model tires. When they couldn't find any they simply upgraded me at no extra charge. Thumbs Up! Another time my car's battery seems to have cracked and leaked acid on the terminals. They could get me a new battery but the terminals needed to be replaced because of the acid damage. My Honda's battery terminals from Honda would cost over $200 to replace. I looked it up, it was true. The mechanics proposed to cut the wires and replace the damaged terminals with standard battery terminals for $50. I agreed and they quickly took care of it. That was several months ago and the new battery and terminals haven't given me any problems. It's really nice to find an auto maintenance center that can actually fix something instead of simply replace broken parts. And yes they do speak English. read more

When I get my car I point it out they proceed to tell me "it was like that" no I know my car and it was not like that. I was visiting from out of town and brother insisted I get new tires before heading back home. They had a good promotion so I bought the tires and figured I'd get brakes too since they were noisy. This Firestone location was so honest, they told me they were noisy only because of brake dust and sprayed silicone instead of telling me to spend $200 to replace them. I went to this place to check a leak in my car and they took more than 2 hours for a check that usually takes 5-10 min. They charged me $30 for a pressure check in the coolant system and then a flat tire, just for 2 patches, $55 , unbelievable overpriced and not professional in the service, zero communication with the customer. Went here to get my tires checked out here after Miami Lakes Hyundai couldn't find out what was wrong. They checked the tires and installed 4 new tires. I am very happy with the tires and with the service. The tires are a bit more expensive than the ones from Miami Laks Hyundai, but their warranty is 75,000 miles to Hyundai's 40,000 miles. Plus, just for $150.00, I get free tire rotations (included in the price of the tires), and unlimited tire realignments as long as I own the tires (as long as I don't sell the car). I did some research and found that the average tire alignment is $79.99. Since you are supposed to get your tires realigned every 5,000 or 10,000 miles, I would only have to get my tires realigned 2 times in order to make what I paid worth the cost. Since my car has 100,000 miles on it, I a see them getting realigned much more than 2 times. It was really worth the cost, and I am very satisfied. read more

To change the battery e change the battery terminals they charge me $321.40 (after a 5% Geico discount). The double of a normal price.
