Really like this location. Gas pumps easy to access and never much of a wait. Inside is always organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. If ever I need help to find something they walk me there. Items are well stocked. I've never run into something being out of stock in store. Whenever I call with a question they're super helpful and clear. If you have an item number it is easier for them to check if they have it. Pizza has a call ahead option. Everything ordered from their food court has been spot on. Customer help desk is great with returns, sale price adjustments and returns. Any recalls or other item issues is posted by this desk. They have electric buggies for those not able to walk the store and even handicap friendly carts up by the help desk. read more

I was impressed by the selections: Tom Ford, Chopard, etc. Free adjustments in store. And of course ELECTRONICS! All size tvs, computers, laptops at reasonable prices. No crab legs on this trip but saw some items that caught my eye in the Wine section. Worth the trip! read more

We love Costco and shop there frequently. We have to shop with a list because if we shop freestyle, we intend to buy 2 items and end up buying 26. The prices are good (Google Costco's pricing tactics and you can get some really good deals) and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Finding a parking spot during busy hours can be difficult so we try to shop in off-hours when there are no lines and plenty of parking spots. Also, you can't beat the prices on the food at the snack bar - my wife and I can each get a hot dog and drink for a total of less than $5. read more

I found the staff to be rude and the shop is inconvenient. You have to walk all the way around the building to use it. I went on 11/6/25 at 11:30 in the morning and the staff was rude to me. I had an appointment to get 4 tires atn299 each total 1200 plus tax. Not hapening. I think im going to not renew my costco membership. read more

One of the worst retail experiences I've had. The cashiers were unfriendly and rang up several items multiple times. When I politely pointed out the error, I was met with attitude instead of an apology. I have been a customer at Costco for many years. Generally, I have been very happy with the location I use in Mooresville, NC. Lately, however, I have problems with service. Not the quality of the service but rather they seem to lack enough workers in certain areas. -The hearing center has good people, just not enough. Also you can never call and talk to an associate but rather may leave a message for a call back which you may or may not ever get. - Their app and website is horribly slow and many times they don't get my business as a result. I go straight to Amazon or Wallmart. These unresolved issues are a hassle that shoppers don't need. I am seriously thinking of letting my membership expire. read more

I absolutely love this store. And I'm here pretty often too. I really love the quality of the items for sale and the cleanliness of the store. It's always well stocked and there's such a variety of food, from produce to baked goods to dairy and everything in between. Not to mention the small appliances, electronics and kitchen equipment. No matter what day of the week I visit, there's several samples available, love that. Most warehouses only offer samples on the weekend. Prices are reasonable and the lines nice fast. I had a great experience today. I needed gas so headed over to their gas station after our shopping trip. There were several cars waiting but things moved quickly and everyone was patient. I needed air in a tire and asked the attendant if there was a pin nearby - he advised that if I drive over to the tire center, they oiled check and fill the tires. Awesome! They did that too, with no questions asked. Excellent customer service inside the store and out. It keeps me coming back over and over. read more

This review is for the food court only. The Costco pepperoni pizza is only $10. It is the best value for hot, prepared food anywhere. Now, it is not the best quality pizza by any stretch. But it is remarkably consistent. And it only takes 10 minutes from kiosk order to receiving the box through the designated window. 10 minutes is just enough time to grab and check out a box of golf balls, or a bag of socks. There are no other toppings; your choices are cheese or pepperoni. Keep it simple stupid. read more

Do not buy the executive Costco membership. One year ago, we had a person at the counter encourage us to get one, assuring a refund of the upgrade would be given if we did not spend enough to get the 2% reward up to the cost of a second membership ($60 at the time). Our experience at customer service was handled poorly today and that sentiment was not honored and they would want to subtract the partial rewards from the refund promised. We refused to use the reward and instead asked for a refund just as we were initially told. They canceled the membership and the rewards check cannot even be used if you are not a member. They have lost a member and we encourage you not to fall for this trap. read more

After years of waiting with baited breath, Costco arrives in Mooresville. Went for the first time last weekend and was not impressed with the store with the exception of the gas prices. At least the service at the customer service desk was better organized than the Costco we went to several weeks ago on Tyvola and tried to activate our membership cards. Mooresville has two other similar stores with B.J.'s having been there the longest and Sam's Club the more recent addition. Sam's is geared to larger bulk purchases. This store is more like the Sam's Club in size and the available quantities or packaging sizes. I went the day it opened and it was a zoo. I've now been back and got a membership. Love going around and sampling all the food. They have a great variety of everything. I love their prepared foods. The street tacos are the best. We have had the pork medallions, wings, rotisserie chicken, pesto pasta with shrimp, shrimp, and much more. Now that it's colder I'm ready for the chicken pot pies, the soups... It can be very busy on Saturdays and Sundays. I especially enjoy saving money on gas at Costco. Their prices are consistently lower than competitors. Some Costo locations (this one in particular) are much lower, so check prices before you need gas and plan accordingly. Inside, you must wear a mask or you will be stopped at the door and given a disposable mask. Shopping at Costco continues to be simple with minimal interruption in service. The store wasn't crowded and customers practiced social distancing. I like to use the self-checkout. There, they have staff who pretty much do the work and get you out in a flash, literally. So, have your Costco card and payment available when you get ready to check out. At the cafe, you place your order and make payment at a kiosk. Then, your order is picked up at the window. Less contact with others and the wait time is minimal. read more

This was my first time at the Tire Center. It was awful. The cashier Erick was very rude to me and if I did not desperately need a front tire that day, I would have left. I went to Customer Service and complained to Scott, the manager there. He was apologetic and said he would relay my complaint to the manager at the Tire Center. Well it's been over a week and I have not heard from anyone at all yet! I'm planning on not shopping at Costco anymore, I won't renew my membership because I don't like how they ignore customers when there is an issue. Looking at Sam's Club now! I am shocked and amazed at the truly dreadful and negligent lack of any reasonable customer service available from Costco. We purchased a dishwasher from Costco.com which included the removal of our old dishwasher and installation of the new dishwasher. Everything was fine with the order until the day Costco's installer showed up with our new dishwasher. The installer did not speak any English making it impossible for me to communicate with him. This, in turn, resulted in the installer not listening to or understanding my requests to please put something down to protect our custom wood floor from damage from any water or leaking residue from the old dishwasher. One would think a Costco installer would know to do this particularly on a wood floor but this particular installer apparently did not know or bother to put anything down. You can probably guess what happened. First, the installer damaged our kitchen cabinets with the screws he used to attach the new dishwasher. We then noticed the new dishwasher had scratches along the side of the stainless steel (so much for the brand new dishwasher not being damaged from day 1). And then to top it all off, the installer dragged the old dishwasher out of our house and left puddles of water with chemical residue all over our custom wood floor. By the time he noticed what he had done, the chemicals had seeped into our wood floor and left a visible stain from our kitchen to our front door (about 30 feet). Making matters worse, we couldn't even explain to him our concern and disappointment with how he installed the dishwasher because he didn't speak or understand English. This makes me wonder if Costco actually does anything to qualify or prescreen their approved installers. Why would they approve an installer who can't communicate on a very basic and rudimentary level with the homeowner? We immediately contacted Costco to notify them of the damaged dishwasher, cabinet and floor. To their credit, Costco did agree to provide either a full refund or a discount off the dishwasher for the damage to the stainless steel and cabinet. Knowing we did not want to subject ourselves to another round of incompetent installers coming to our house and doing more damage, we reluctantly agreed to the discount which obviously left us with a damaged kitchen cabinet and dishwasher. However, for the damaged floor, Costco referred us to a "liaison" who would "assist us" in determining the extent of the damage and repairing our wood floors. The liaison instructed us to contact some flooring contractors to review the damage and assess how best to repair the damage which we promptly did. We contacted two professional flooring installers. Unfortunately, the damage was so severe that both contractors recommended we sand and refinish our entire wood floor. The type of floor we have is no longer manufactured so we could not remove and replace the individual damaged planks and nothing they used to try and remove the stains would work. Needless to say, this was not an inexpensive repair when all was said and done. We contacted Costco to share the estimates from both flooring contractors which were virtually identical and within a few hundred dollars of each other. This is where the problems really escalated. The liaison was no longer returning our calls or helping us get resolution to resolution. Instead, we were referred to a number of different individuals both within and outside Costco (although it was difficult to determine what role each contact played) and none were offering any type of solution to our problem. After countless calls pleading with Costco, their liaison, the installer and countless others to help us repair the damage to our floor, we realized we were getting the classic runaround and Costco had no intention of taking any responsibility to resolve our situation. Each person we have contacted at Costco and elsewhere are pointing the finger at each other and no one is taking any responsibility to actually repair the damage to our floors. I don't understand why we have to chase numerous individuals both within and outside Costco to get our problems resolved when it is THEIR APPROVED INSTALLER who did this damage to our home. Costco owns this problem and yet they are taking zero responsibility in getting it resolved. Painful lesson learned to never buy another appliance from Costco under any circumstance. We are left with over $15K of damage to our custom wood floors and there does not appear to be anyone from Costco willing or able to help us. In all likelihood, we are going to need to retain an attorney to get some sort of remediation to this issue which really sucks when all we really wanted was to replace an old dishwasher. Buyer beware: COSTCO DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS and are a nightmare when it comes to getting them to provide any sort of relief when there is a problem. I will never buy another appliance from Costco again! read more

First of all. I have had a membership at BJ's prior to this. After my membership was up there, I didn't renew. Reason being it wasn't worth the price for the items offered. I was looking forward to Costco as I heard great things prior. Costco does offer some good products. Their employees on the other hand were rude and toxic. I really don't know what to say about this Costco in some ways. Really cause until the day I joined up and visited this one I had NEVER been into any version of a retail establishment like this, no Sam's Club, no nothing. I say all that to say I just walked around stunned by the size and the variety of things you could buy. Tires, check. Food to eat there, check. Groceries, check. Everything on earth, check? It was crazy to me in a way. Some of how things were stocked on these mammoth shelves of American consumerism left me scratching my head as to why these items were on the same aisle as those items but, whatever. I don't mind wandering mindlessly through a new place. I did fine a wine my wife likes for $10 vs. $16-$18 at the grocery store and picked up a few other random things, including a watermelon that was terrible when we cut into it at home. End of the wandering I spent $90 while the guy in front of me spent $700. I clearly don't understand how it's supposed to work yet. read more

I went during one of the first weekends of grand opening , super chaotic and busy . Will go back again to see if the staff and processes improve over time . The store had some great deals , fresh meat and seafood and was fun to walk around . It reminds me of nicer BJ's . Ate at the cafe area , it's self order and then they will call out your number . Costco shopping is really hit or miss.. they always have the staples but then each store is different because they carry different items so it's like a treasure hunt. The bulk pricing doesn't work for everybody but for my family for the most part it does. You always have to price compare, but to me it's worth it. Today I went to Costco with my grandfather and had the worst experienced there. From the crazy parking lot to the member service it was off today. I was almost hit by someone driving in the parking lot cause everyone was being extra rushing in then got yelled at like it was my fault. My grandfather was pointed to a manager inside by 1 of the employees that had just ended there shift for help with a price because the sign was wrong and she had an attitude, she had ignored the employee for a minute after he called her then she replied in a rude manner after she approached me to help with the price she started speaking underneath her breath and rolled her eyes at me and spoke in a demeaning tone before asking for the price on the radio. My grandfather and I was confused i know everyone has there days but this is the first time I've seen anyone acting out of character rude like that . Love everything about this place except the pharmacist how will not fill prescriptions as written. I always get my doctor to write my prescriptions for 90 pills as it is cheaper that way, pharmacist refuses to fill as written will only dispense 30. I had a membership years ago but let it run out since driving to south Charlotte wasn't very convenient. When this one opened I was excited because I assumed it would be as good as I remembered it. I was let down. First off, I purchased my membership on Groupon. Paid $60, the same as if I'd walked in off the street. But holy crap, I had to sit there for about 20 minutes listening to their pitch about upgrading to the Executive membership before I could proceed to getting my card. I mean seriously, it was awful. And listening down the customer service counter everyone else was getting the same pitch, too. My head was about to explode by the time it was all done. Nothing "wowed" me about this store. I was certain the bakery would, but it seemed much smaller than I remember. Overall prices and selection were average. The checkout area had many registers but only one that had a cashier, which meant the self checkout was the place to be. I hope that's not a usual scenario. The snack bar was the best part. The pizza was good and so was the churro, plus they were priced right. Not sure if I'd renew once this membership is up. I'll probably stick with BJ's. read more
