I have been looking for daikon and decided to give this grocery store a try. It's very cold inside…read more Cold like a refrigerator which is good because there's seafood sitting out. Many of the fresh vegetables were gone. I suspect they bring food in for the weekend which is when people go there to shop. I went middle of the week so I know next time go Friday or Saturday to take advantage of the fresh produce. I was able to buy daikon and Japanese style soft and firm tofu so my trip was fruitful. The store stocks Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods. I am sure they sell other varieties of Asian foods. They have a good selection of dry noodles. I did not see any yakisoba or kimchi. I was able to buy both in the past. I will return on a weekend and write an update.

This store is large and was full of shoppers. There was a sale on fall merchandise. The checkout registers were 3-4 deep of customers waiting to pay. I walked past the people to see what people were buying. Well that was hard to see right away. There are aisles stocked up to the ceiling against the walls. Christmas items were along the back wall. Now I know why I can't find Christmas items in December! Some items were marked down 70% and people were buying. There was an abundance of Halloween stuff on sale too. Clocks and pictures looked to be hugely marked down. Markdown signs were all over. A shopper's paradise is markdown and clearance signs. I have friends who shop at Hobby Lobby 2-3 times a month. I see why. The store seems to have a little bit of everything. It would be very easy to fill up a shopping cart. Ok back to what I was looking for. I did find several wood pieces I could use to elevate my Kaleidoscape. The number of wood and cork items I could have purchased were tenfold what the other store had. I got in line to pay and only had 1 person in front of me. Checkout was fast and very pleasant. I highly recommend this store. It was a pleasure walking around inside and I will return.

I walked up to one of them and asked where the spring plates were. She led me straight to them with asking about my day with the biggest smile and bubbly personality. Personally I can tell these employees love their jobs. When I checked out I didn't realize that most of my stuff was on sale. I ended up spending 62 dollars less than when I expected!! I had such a great experience and I will be coming back soon!
