Costco is my favourite store of all time! We went to the food court after shopping and got a turkey provolone sandwich with a chicken caesar salad. The turkey sandwiches are to die for... They're moist, delicious and yummy. If you ever need a snack you can always walk in the exit and go to the food court. You don't need a membership for that. Would definitely go back again and get the sandwich, i've had it many times.

    Review Highlights - Costco Wholesale

The gas at Costco always seems to be about 15 cents/liter less than average.

Not so. Email on my contract - invalid, phone number on my contract is for a call centre where they just answer calls but cannot provide any answers. Advise that they will pass along to Manager to call, but I called and was told this three times and no one has every returned my call. They use third party contracts and if you have any issues, there is no one there to l provide any assistance. I finally had to go through my local warehouse and the manager sent two emails before anyone contacted me. Spoke to a lady on the phone who told me to send an email with my concerns. Received confirmation that they would look into my issues and then once job done, received another emails stating discussions with Vendor and Installation team underway and then crickets. No one has addressed my concerns. The countertop was not what I expected, the Third Party Contractor in Edmonton was FloForm Countertops and they were the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. Costco Installation's prices are three times what you would pay at a granite place and you don't get to see your slab prior to production as they only have an office with samples. I say save yourself the time and money of dealing with COSTCO INSTALLATION SERVICES.

Hobby shops like this simply do not exist anymore in New York which used to have a slew of them when building plastic models was popular. There are still a couple of mom & pop places scattered around but not on the scale of the Hobby Centre. Kids these days only interact in the virtual world and hobbies like this will eventually fade away. But in the meantime, I'm going to hoard as many plastic model kits that will fit in my house. My favorite theme for building and painting plastic models are World War II planes, so I was on the hunt for a 1/72 B-17G Flying Fortress or maybe a B-29 Superfortress. Airfix (from the UK) is one of my favorite brands and they stock a lot of their line here, but neither bomber were in stock on this trip. The hunt goes on. They did have a new release of the Avro Lancaster, which I have been searching high and low. I also picked up an Italeri JAS-39 Gripen and a vintage Airfix BAC Lightning. Prices are pretty good, especially on the older vintage kits along the back wall. With the favorable US$ exchange rate, I got some good deals. If I had spent more time here, I definitely would have blown through all the cash in my wallet, never mind my spending limit on my credit card. I just might have to make a return trip to Canada with a large trailer!

I took it back, assuming that Canada Computers would replace the disc under the warranty. Instead, they said they would give me a store credit for the original purchase price. The problem is, the increase in memory costs (since I bought my original tower) means that one cannot purchase an equivalent replacement at anywhere near my original price. In the end I had to buy a new tower with half the RAM and memory of my original tower for $142 on top of the store credit. In addition, they would not reimburse any of my unused warranty, not even allowing me to transfer the unused two years to my new purchase. And of course, they hung onto the old tower, presumably to harvest it for parts. So when Canada Computer offers you a warranty, make sure you know what they are, and are not, offering. Don't assume (as I did) that they will repair your unit or replace it with a comparable unit. You will be disappointed.
