    Costco haul
    Janice Y.

So I'm back at Costco this time with the purpose of buying gifts to bring back to my relatives in China. Best gifts are consumables given they can get everything else in China cheaper. I went straight for nuts as that's what my mom suggested since they aren't into junk food but like nuts. I also got a pack of Elizabeth Arden ceramide capsules for my cousins. I saw this Asian guy there load a huge cart full of Elizabeth Arden capsules and also other vitamins and I could tell he's not buying for himself but probably buying for friends and family. So I asked him if he's shopping for others and he says he is, he buys for customers in Hong Kong and these items are already pre-purchased. So given his experience I asked what he recommends for gifts for family in China and he did solidify the Elizabeth Arden Capsules are popular, so are vitamins, beef jerky and other things. For treats he says the number 1 snack that's popular to send to HK was the chocolate covered pistachios. It's more unique since it's not available in HK. Plus it's also labeled as Made in Canada, so if you're looking to gift Canadian treats, this is an idea, they are $16.99 for a 500g bag. He confirms that my mixed nuts is not a bad idea, Costco version is probably better quality than that found in China though the chocolate covered pistachios are probably a bit more unique for gifting. I was gonna switch to that as it's almost the same price as my mixed nuts but my mom says that my fam doesn't like chocolate so I stuck to nuts. If you're looking for gifting ideas to send home to relatives in other who don't have a Costco, maybe try these gifting ideas. While I'm there of course I picked other stuff like this pineapple in coconut water that people are loving on social media, detergent and dishwasher tabs among other things. I think they increased the price of their dish washer tabs by $5 though. I remember it being $10 when I got it a year when I bought last it's $15... but the packaging looks different so hopefully it's new and improved?

We came here on a Saturday morning! It was crowded, but wasn't bad. I don't think I have ever been to a Costco on a Saturday morning and it was anything but crowded! The Costco had great service and everything was stocked! They also have fries and poutine in the food court!!!! DELISH! Must must try if you are in Costco Canada!

Happy with Location, hours of operation and quality of what you get; staff inside warehouse super helpful and seem happy. Tire Centre us TopNotch service with great prices. Lunch sitting area is quick & affordable. Just gas express bar outside needs some management supervision & retraining. Yappy Female Staff holds up line gabbing with customers about their pets in car. "move it along" She's just not effective worker, youve been warned. Avoid that line.

What's not to like about Costco? Buy in bulk and you'll save money. Plus there's always new deals and products that'll keep you coming back again and again. It was quite busy mid-morning on a Monday afternoon in the summer. The parking lot was starting to fill up and once you're inside there were customers everywhere with carts. Luckily we only came for one item. We got it and went to find the shortest line possible. Instead of standing in line behind the first person you see try to get to the cashiers in the center and you won't have to wait as long.

    Review Highlights - Costco Wholesale

I never thought that I would write a review for Costco warehouse after being an executive member for almost 20 years.

KFT (Korea Food Trading) is like a Korean Costco…read more They recently had their grand opening and have memberships for the public and businesses. During their grand opening promotions, there are free memberships for the first one thousand customers signing up, a reusable shopping bag for the first four hundred and fifty customers, or hand sanitizer for the first eight hundred and fifty customers. Regularly, a business membership is $50 per year. For regular customers, there are Gold ($20 per year) and Platinum ($50 per year) memberships, but I'm not sure what the difference between the two is. There's also a lucky draw. The first prize is a six-cup rice cooker for three winners; the second prize is a ten-kilogram bag of rice for thirty winners; and the third prize is a pack of toilet paper for fifty winners. Parking and the entrance are located at the back of the building. On the left side once entering the store, there are beverages such as coffee, tea, extracts (arrowroot, black garlic, onion, raspberry, plum), bottled water, pop, juice, gatorade, Milkis, coconut milks, and other drinks like pear, ginseng, herbal, plum, rice, and aloe. Rice, noodles (buckwheat, udon, naengmyeon, kalguksu, soba, rice, vermicelli, glass), cookies, snacks (Choco Pie, Pepero, shrimp crackers), seasonings, sauces, oils, vinegars, syrups, soybean paste, hot pepper paste, canned fish, and pancake and bread mix. The middle section is for freezers and refrigerators. These have products like rice cakes, dumplings, Korean corn dogs, seaweed rolls or tempura, ice cream mochi, Samanco 붕어싸만코 (red bean, green tea, strawberry, chocolate), Bungeo-ppang 붕어빵, Melona (melon, coconut, strawberry, banana, mango, purple yam flavours), Hotteok 호떡, pickled vegetables, banana milk, kimchi, udon, tofu, seafood, vegetables, and fruit. The other side of the store has over-the-counter medications like Tylenol and Advil, cleaning supplies, mixing bowls, toilet paper, takeout containers, and more. The checkout experience was friendly, quick, and efficient (with another employee packing up your items into a box).
