Costco is standard across the board to me as far as good quality products and a clean facility. So it really does depend on the employees that are hired and every location is different. This should be a 3 star due to one employee in the apparel section who was terrible with customer service and towards service animals. Fortunately, Cindy at the self service check out station "saved the day" with her genuine and kind attitude. I want to share the amazing squishy pillows great for the whole family and of course we came here to find a kite. Which we did! It's a dragon kite! A must buy! read more

WOW.....talk about a location with a douche-bag employee. Last night my family and I got into town very early in the morning in our RV and needed some provisions and gas from Costco. Obviously they were closed at this hour so we decided to park and wait until they were open in the morning. By now it's 4:30 and "Ronnie" told us to leave the parking lot or he was going to call the police and have us leave. I explained to him that we were past g through town and had no where to go and were simply going to get gas and food when they opened in a few hours. He ranted about how there's no overnight parking allowed. I again explained to him that we weren't camping in his precious lot and were just getting some rest before they opened and got back on the road. I asked him if he called the cops on every customer who came early and he said "no". I tried to get him to explain why we're the exception and he got flustered and stormed away saying he was going to just call the cops. I of course left, not wanting to waste the officers time (I'm a retired officer myself) and went across the street to Walmart. i was on a trip and had a blowout. i went to costco as i have a road hazard warranty. first i had to buy 4 tires to replace one. then they informed me that the road hazard was no good, as i should have been able to avoid the hazard?? i was telling friends about this and they had similar complaints. they recommended a competitor that actually stands behind their warranty. lesson learned.. read more

This Costco pharmacy stinks. The regular older gal at the counter is the only redeeming factor and she's not a reason for me to deal with them. The rest of the people are rude, including the rude pharmacist. He has no personality and is just ick! 90% of the time they don't have what you need and it's on "shipment for tomorrow". Well. I need it now! The young gal today was rude, personality bland and just plain awful. If you don't want to work customer service then don't apply for a counter job!! Warrenton Costco certainly is not what it was a few years back. The fruit they sell is terrible and goes bad in only a few days! Some of the products they once sold are no longer there and never seem to return, I'm sure that is because they couldn't get it from the supplier for the price they wanted to pay, so the customer goes with out there! customer service sucks as the employees working in the shopping area act like they are on a mission and never leave the customer a clear path. The chicken alfredo that is made in house has almost zero alfredo and the chicken parts are huge and dry, I'm no longer buying that either! Now moving on to the Kirkland toilet tissue it will not separate at the serrations and comes apart when using in the mid sections of the paper, uck! I will not longer be buying the Kirkland brand. Then you go to the food cart and ask for a Vanilla Ice cream and what I receive is nothing like the picture and its half chocolate? The person there when asked why, just shrugs there shoulders and walks away! And to top it all off, they keep moving products to different areas which I didn't go there to search for products that have been moved. To top it all off is when first entering the store you get to be hounded by independent marketers trying to sell you their phones and other items you don't want, don't have to deal with that at Freddy's or Safeway! I may not be renewing my membership as there also is not much of a saving there any longer as many times the items I'm shopping for are less money at Wal-Mart or Fred Meyer and Safeway, not real saving any longer there in the store or at the gas pump. If things change before my membership renewal I may reconsider! Been a Costco member for over 25 yrs, it has not gotten better. Wow. There were extra parking spaces and it was NOT crowded on a weekend around 1pm. I am impressed! The lady folding the clothes also didn't cop an attitude when I asked about sizing and trying on a cardigan. She even pointed out where the narrow mirrors were on the beams. The cashier was friendly. It's Costco, if they have what you want, it's probably at the best price you are going to get. This Costco, located in oregon, comes with zero state sales tax, making your vacation along the oregon coast that much cheaper. The warehouse was busy, but surprisingly quick checkout. They hired a Karen brigade to harass you about seeing your receipts. First, you get stalled at the first register as they eyeball all of your items over your shoulder, then they rush up on you saying "oh, let me check that right now for you, sir", practically grab it out of your hand. Then at the exit you're greeted by two more Karen's reaching out for your receipt and glaring at your cart. I understand checking your receipt at the door but checking it twice rudely is offensive. Get a grip. Just because you are semi-retired and bored doesn't give you the right to treat this job like it's the most important thing you've ever done in your life. Also, the pricing on everything isn't any cheaper than anywhere else, you just get bigger packages. That's it. read more

Better than most Costcos, mainly due to its small size - large appropriately sized parking lot (unlike most C stores). Easy access, multiple entrances. Gas lines usually short. Like all other Costcos, they are a reckless insidious purveyor of unneeded plastic packaging. Single use blister packs everywhere. Instead of truly 'wholesale' packaging, they glom together retail packages with more single use plastic (blister, bags, heavy ties). Since this is a faux-wholsesale, knowingly selling to retail customers, who tend to buy 'too much' than a normal sized family can use. Prices here, as all C stores, arent necessarily lower than other discount retailers; one needs to be aware of typical prices and sale prices of products, and be able to do the mental mathematical gymnastics to gauge value. Gas is sometimes a good value, but you'll do better with a discount retailer like FM, and FM gas has window-washing, trash, air/water, convenience store. But, I keep my membership. Some of the deals are really good. read more

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, I would have given this Costco 5 stars. But not any more. To its credit, this Costco is never as busy as the Costco locations we normally visit in northwest WA or CA. You can almost always park in the first row here. That's unheard of in Bellingham, WA or Burlington, WA. We've never waited behind more than 2 Costco members to check out when visiting this Warrenton, OR location. So, since my wife and I have been self-quarantined since March 9, we haven't entered a store to shop. For anything. We've used pickup services from both Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer, and we've had deliveries from both Fred Meyer and Costco (by using Instacart). But we haven't set foot in a store to shop. Until Wednesday, July 1. Almost 4 months without entering a store. We thought Costco in Warrenton, OR would be a safe place to dip our toes in. Never crowded, and we'd heard good things about their safety measures. Right up until we went to check out, things were good. Employees and members were all wearing masks. And all but two members that we saw actually kept their masks on while shopping. But when we were loading the conveyor belt with our goods, our cashier - who was only wearing a loose bandana on her face - coughed. OK. She's wearing a bandana. Not the most effective, but we're probably still safe. And then it happened. She pulled the bandana down and coughed violently towards her register. Really? Then she put the bandana up as if it were no big deal, looked at us and kept scanning items. Seriously?!? We were shocked! Are you kidding me? She pulled the bandana down from her face at the exact moment for which it was designed - to keep her spit and phlegm from flying through the air at people. We were stunned as we left Costco and started driving home. But my wife composed herself and called the Warrenton Costco, asking for the manager of the cashiers. When she was connected to the manager, she told him what happened and how concerned we were. He responded with, "I'll address it." When my wife asked him if he wanted to take down our names and numbers in case he needed to later engage in contact tracing, he declined, and said something akin to, "No, I'm good." Costco. Warrenton, OR. July 1, 2020. Approx. 4:30 PM. So, if you're looking to leave the safety of your home and do some shopping without an employee pulling down her bandana and coughing violently, you should probably steer clear of the Warrenton, OR Costco. We've been stressing about this since the event. Now we have 14 days before we'll really know if we were infected. If it had been a Costco member, that'd be a little different. But this was a Costco employee! We won't be going into a store any time soon. Especially not this Costco. read more

Generally I like Costco. Unfortunately I showed up to pick up my prescription on a Sunday and the pharmacy was closed. I went back today and despite having seen my doctor on Thursday they didn't have my prescription ready. So my next visit will be my third visit to hopefully get my prescription. Grrr! My Wife and I are Camping at Fort Stevens and I've got to tell you how lucky this area is to have this fabulous Costco here, we're from Cali and our Costco's are so busy it's a chore just to get in and out of the parking lot! This store is so spacious and the selection of items is wonderful, gas prices are the BEST as well. I've come twice during the week now and it's been a real pleasure to just walk up and check out, I'll bet it's a little busier on the weekends Costco can't be beat and this Costco is bright and clean with a fantastic selection of items a real Gem! read more

Once again Costco Warrenton has lowered it's standards! Whoever does training,( if there is such a thing), needs to be retrained. The prepared foods department has continued to become a department best not visited, first over cooked chicken, then removal of flavor in Mac and cheese, now the bakery changes a decent product into a," We don't need to buy that again", the apple cinnamon muffins are so bad now we no longer will purchase them. I've decided that Costco Warrenton really doesn't want to sell prepared products so they keep lowering the quality. Get new manager get someone that listens to customers, You ever fill out a questionnaire on what can we do to improve,? Ever get a response? A female manager there seems to think she has some sort of police power.After getting into a disagreement with her she threatened to take my membership and have escorted out by the police. She was mad that I talked back to her and pointed my finger back at her. When she started getting rude and pointing her finger in my face telling me that "SHE DOES" make the rules. I always love going to different Costco's. My mom and I were both planning on buying electronics since we're in Oregon. I unfortunately didn't find one I wanted but got some clothes. My mom did find a TV. The associate that helped load the tv was super nice and informative. The food court however was a different story. My son wanted pizza and I ordered the caesar salad. The pizza was cold and my lettuce looked awful. read more

Costco is well Costco, the prices are usually reasonable. The people that work there are what makes a difference and this Costco is okay but there are some employees at this location that are not the best with customer service skills, the food court is okay and one of the places at this location that could use improvement and the other is the tire store. I'm not saying it's horrible but it has room for improvement! read more

Possibly the best Costco I've been too. I like that this one did not have the crowds or long gas lines. Looks like the line at Fred meyer's for gas was longer. I also really liked the large variety of seafood here compared to other Costco's. We went on a food court date here for brunch and it was great. You can park in the first row at 5 pm on a weekend and no, everyone riding their bike there does not make that so. A veritable Costco wasteland. We ran in only to buy a drill (ended up at Home Depot due to lack of selection at Costco). I was too busy trying on all manner of old lady glasses in the optical section to truly browse but this Costco is definitely a wee bit smaller than your average one. I guess everything is a wee bit smaller on the coast. And your Mom likes getting drill(ed). read more

By far the best Costco I've been too...hands down. It has the same selection as the Tigard and PDX locations with a quarter of the crowd. Parking is great (seriously, you'll never find a spot so close to the entrance at another Costco unless you are one of those creepy people who hovers/drives behind people exiting the store). The store is clean (appears new) and well maintained. I also notice they have a selection tailored toward the coast (i.e. last time I was there they had crab pots etc.). This Costco is one of the smallest in the country. It is kind of hidden behind Fred Meyer, so I don't think they pick up as much tourist traffic. It's a fine store, but limited selection compared to most Costcos. BUT... a HUGE new Costco is opening soon a short distance down 101 and this store will be closing. I don't know the exact date the new one will open, but I believe it is supposed to be well before Christmas. The rate of construction has been phenomenal. So yelpers, if you are passing through the area looking for Costco, it will soon be located on Hwy 101 in Warrenton, just south of this location, across from Home Depot. read more
